Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Your rush failed to harm the suhuagin's, but it does divide their attention a bit. Sticky tries to shoot one of them, but the violent movements of the boat cause his bolt to fly into the ocean, clearly missing his mark. Even Buggsy has a hard time chopping down his foes due to the violent waves and his own injuries, and his blade simply lands into the deck. The suhuagins however could smell blood on him, and one continues to attack him, biting into the bugbear's arm as it's spear cut into Buggsy's leg. The second Suhuagin rushes at you, his teeth and spear cutting into your flesh. Or would have, were it not for your armor of Agathys. Instead of drawing blood, the Suhuagin had a mouthful of painfully cold ice that began to spread from his jaw to his head. Even his spear had ice rapidly creep up to his hand and started to freeze it's arm. In that very moment, the Suhuagin was starting to freeze solid thanks to your spell.

But that didn't seem to dissuade the who rushed you. He took bit into your arm, and while his face also began to freeze, this time your armor breaks and blood is drawn. It was just a cut, but it was enough to whip the suhuagin into a frenzy and plunge his spear into your side, doing a considerable amount of damage. Things weren't looking too great when suddenly a massive shadow jumped from out of the ocean and onto the deck. The body of one of the sailors was dropped onto the ground as the suhuagin who just bit you took a hefty blow to the back of it's head, and soon the sea creature that had been nearly frozen solid shattered as a spiked shield pierces through it's body, leaving behind bloody chunks. Standing before you was the master-of-arms, Vehafor, a lizardman warrior. "Apologies for lateness. Saving others. Now, slaying monsters!"

The oracle began to glow as it spoke directly into your mind. "Skulking in shadows, chasing ghosts, seeking Salvation. The Windmill Crusaders will find not giants, but dragons." The oracle stopped glowing, leaving your party wondering what was said. "So? What did clay thing say?" Shortfang asked. Pylia was already putting her gear back on. "Whatever it said, I bet it's vague and doesn't help at all. Worse comes to worse, we might have to go into the sewers and look for them ourselves. But I'm positive they'll be fine." Pylia says as she straps her shield onto her arm. Buddy finished cleaning his axe while Dinah was pawing at the oracle.
“Hmm. I don’t really know what we could ask it. Honestly I’m starting to think that oracle doll is just a useless piece of junk; all of its predictions are vague and lead only to more questions than awnsers.” Pylia says sourly. Shortfang shrugged at the comment. “Shortfang think maybe ask? Something like ‘Is mill dangerous’ or something. Even if vague, it not wrong!” Buddy didn’t have a comment and simply started cleaning his axe of the blood from the previous battle. Dinah walked back over to you and curled its tendrils around your ankle and begged for your attention, while Syfr had eaten the last of the large chunks from the stew.
Assuming the glue is an alchemical sort of weapon, I think it would apply the same way multiple alchemist fires would: even though you can hit someone with multiple alchemist fires to do more fire damage, the target still only needs to do one check in order to stop the fire on him. Additional hits from alchemist fire while on fire does nothing to make the fire more difficult to put out, either by increased DC or needing to take multiple actions to put out. That will only be needed if Brannor gets hit again by the glue bombs, thus requiring a new check for the condition he previous lost.

In short: two glue bombs are redundant since they both inflict restrain, and multiple stacks of restrain doesn’t amount to much unless they come from an alternative source instead of just the same type of glue bomb.
Kulee and Oliver seem pretty excited when you mentioned staying on land for the next few days until payday. More money was always good, and the crew would enjoy spending some time off dockside instead of roughing it out on the open seas for days or even weeks. At some point during the conversation a few of your other crew members would return from their rooms in various stats of euphoria. Tayang himself seemed to have returned with more women accompanying him than he had started with, and seemed quiet red as he goes to order a round for himself and his lady friends. Hector and Johnathan returned to the table trying to straighten out their attire, unaware of the makes up stains on some of their body parts. "Aye captain, what are y'all talking about?" Johnathan asks as he orders himself a fish pie and flagon of beer. Hector whispers something to the lady he was with as she smiles and leaves, and you could see that he had slipped her a gold coin. Afterwards he looked over to you with a dumb smile. "Say captain, you got any lovers anywhere? Guy like you could probably find quite a comely lass at any port!" The others just looked at Hector with a mixture of annoyance and fear. They never bothered to ask you about your love life, largely out of professionalism. A man should not kiss and tell after all, but it seems like Hector had been quiet drunk and had his lips loosen in more ways than one.
"It's to the north, I think we went passed it when we first arrived in Gransys. I didn't think much of it at first, it's the same mill in town since I was a kid. Still it should be fine for us to go look over there, and it wouldn't break Atisha's warning about leaving Gransys." Pylia responded to your question. Shortfang rubbed his chin in contemplation. "But... Sound like Atisha and others don't want us keep fighting bad guys. Right?" Pylia shook her head. "I'm pretty sure what happened with us and Erendal is just a special circumstance because he was a noble. Unless there happens to be another noble at the mill in cahoots with the cult, I doubt we'll run into much trouble. Though we should be careful not to cause any destruction at the mill of something happens. I don't think anyone will appreciate it if it blew up in a fireball, whether it's our fault or not." Buddy nods and writes a note for Pylia. "Sounds like your problem with your penchant for fire." Pylia smirked. "What can I say, despite how I try to stay calm, I am very fiery." Pylia looks over to you with a nod.

"What do you think? Should we go check the mill, maybe tell Atisha or whoever about what we're going to do? I'm of two minds of it: either she'll appreciate us checking in with her, or she might tell us not to get further involved for today. We won't know until she finds out."
Alrighty, added some extra info on the init stuff. Buggsy has joined the battle! But he's getting his face wrecked. Fortunately the Sahuagin's have quite attacked you yet, but they do see you. Do yo thing!
Hearing your words had Shortfang chime in. "Like Grey Scale traitor. Kalmeet promise Grey Scale power, and they betray Sewer Dragons. Maybe cult bad guys promise crazy noble power, and he betray everyone." Pylia nods at Shortfang and your suggestion. "Yeah... Yeah I can see that happening. It'll make sense too. Elysium wants to sow destruction everywhere in Gransys, so what they did in the sewers with the trogs and kobolds was just one step. If they got to Erendal, he might've promised him power if he would stir up trouble in the market for... For some reason." The priestess continued to mull over the possibilities in her head, but eventually had to give up. "I can understand what would've happened if the troglodytes overrun the sewers and eventually the surface, but I can't imagine what Erendal gains from vandalizing shops. I guess he's trying to put them out of business and buy them up, maybe, but that seems so... Small scale." It was here that Buddy wrote his suggestion. "Erendal and his brutes could have been a distraction for the guards. Remember that Shor and his team are short staffed and there has been changes in the guard patrol. The sewers are nearby as well. With so few guards busy looking into petty vandalism during an important festival, there would be no guards available to have known about the trogs."

Seeing this made Shortfang nods as well. "Yeah, even Shortfang don't know until Shortfang go back home and find dead kobolds and trogs. But... Hmm..." Shortfang rubbed his chin. "So... What Shor and them do in sewer? It not trogs, Sewer Dragons got them. Maybe cult?" Pylia snapped her fingers and looked to you. "Sylvia... That note from the corpse, from the Jabani trogs. What if Shor, Cera, and Kor were on their trail? Yorik said we shouldn't go to the sewers, but we could still investigate the water mill."
I figured it was. Alright, sleep tight! Tomorrow I'll edit a bit more in my post to include what exactly happens action wise.
The deck was swarming with Sahuagins warriors fighting various crewmen. On the bow of the ship you could see the bright blue sword of Azure slashing down some Sahuagins, as well as the captain himself armed with his cutlass and pistol fighting side-by-side with his first mate. Even the bugbear Buggsy was here, armed with a massive falchion that looks like a longed meat cleaver, using his superior reach to lop off Sahuagins heads. "Over there!" Sticky would shout as he spots a lone sailor trying to fend himself against three Sahuagins. Two sailors had ropes made of sea kelp wrapped around their necks they were struggling against as they were being pulled off the ship. Sticky shot at one of the ropes with his crossbow, freeing one. "We gotta help em!"

Hearing the commotion Buggsy is quick to charge at the sahuagins and slices his sword at one of the sea creatures. He slices off a notably chunk of fin, but it doesn't seem to really be much damage. The Two start to swarm Buggsy while the other drags the unfortunate sailor off the boat, tossing him into the sea as the fish monster gets back to the deck and readies himself for you and Sticky.
