Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

The crew docked on the ship. Hurrik, Hector, and Johnathan would stay behind to guard the ship at Tayang's orders. Nox and the others, who've been upgraded, would come with you into the hamlet. Sure enough it was quiet. Kulee notes however it may have not been willing. "Look captain." He points over to a basket of fish that was knocked over near a hut. The fish were still flopping around, gasping for life. Very recent. "Ought we look through some houses or just head straight to the chapel?" The chapel was none too far ahead, only about fifty feet away from the docks. It's doors were closed and doesn't seem to be any noise coming from it. Only the sound of the ocean waves and the creaking of the Kraken. Not even any sea birds around to pick at the fish that was ripe and ready for the taking. Many of your crewmen sans Tayang seemed on edge, gripping their weapons with fear.
The soldier looked at you strangely, but didn't stop you. "Fine, but don't say we didn't warn you. Just mind yourself on the bridge, we've set up landmines to keep the gangs away from our side." Sure enough, going across the bridge was slightly perilous. There were a few fragmentation mines scattered on the bridge. They didn't enough enough power behind them to blow up the bridge they they went off, but they'd certainly be able to kill anyone who made the mistake of being within the vicinity when they went off. As for Primm itself, it was a pretty large town. It was a straight shot to the Bison Steve, but you could already hear the hollering of the gangsters throughout the city, doing god knows what.
Malakaus Vorinclex
Healthy | Angeli Pallidus Guild | Looking for Group

Malakaus snorted as Fenris refused to respond to Malakaus about the damaged floor. He supposed it added character to the place. There wasn't much in a way of an introduction, so Malakaus supposed he ought to just go ahead and look for work. There seemed to be a board for contracts, so Malakaus went over to see what was available. He wanted work that would give him access to some ripe crafting materials. As he scans the board, he finds one that interests him: swarms of wolf monsters which had been attacking a farmers and travelers, possibly led by a giant monster known as a "Thextera", a very large wolf. Perhaps it's hide could be worked into some armor? Either way Malakaus took the bounty and looked to the others. He wasn't so arrogant as to think he could take on the mark on his own. He should at least bring one or two others just to know what they're capable of.

Reading the description, these wolves have no only started to attack farmers, travelers, and livestock, but have run off most of the wildlife in the nearby area. Hunters can't track down deer and rabbits thanks to these hounds driving them away, and now they've turned to civilization to feed. Killing their leader should be enough to cause the pack to scatter, which hopefully would mean bringing the normal beasts back into nature. Still, the more wolves killed means more hide for Malakaus to work with. Walking up to a table Malakaus sets the bounty down and looks to the others.

"I intend to hunt Thextera, a direwolf. He leads a large pack of wolves and harms local farmers and travelers. Reward appears to be 500 thoritans, and anything else we find off those beasts. Who will join me?"

Nox Nyctores "Barrel"
Healthy | Angeli Pallidus Guild | Getting a drink

After getting his cloak tied around his neck, Nox decided to look around the guild a bit, see what's what. This place was certainly snazzier than Malakaus's dinky little forge, so he'd probably move in here once he grabs his stuff at Malakaus's room. There were some rooms for people to bunk in, a lounge area for people to drink and relax, and even a bath! Nox didn't feel particularly dirty so he decided to chill at the lounge for a while, waiting to see if anyone would get a job to do. He was surprised at the lack of a bartender, so Nox heads over there. With his cat claws he pops open a bottle of brandy. "Mhmm... I can get used to this." Helping himself to the bar, Nox mixes himself up a drink to enjoy as he lounges on the bar.
The rest of your travel to Primm was fair peaceful aside from the occasional gecko, bro g being alone they simply ran away from you. As you’d approach the first thing you would notice would not be Primm itself, but the NCR. Seems like they had a little base set up across the bridge from Primm, their flag flying high. However there was only a single soldier at the gate who would stop you as you approach.

“Whoa where the hell do you think you’re going? Havent you heard? Primm’s under lock down right now. Whole gang has taken over the town.”
No not really. There's the sound of the seas itself, winds blowing through the air, but the sound of life or activity? Haven't heard any since you left Red Shard.
It’s roughly noon. Still plenty of daylight for people to be out working. The scouting had been done at a fairly early morning, Took like two hours tops. Than another two hours just to reach the hamlet.
"Yeah. Seemed like dere was anothah monster in dere too, but wif all the lads down here, dey managed ta kill it. Azure an everyone else took the sack, burned it, an tossed it off the ship not too long ago." What Sticky said seemed to be true, as you could feel Othie stirring. "And I don't need ta potion, Buggsy patched me up a bit. And dat poison's already outta me system." As you look outside your cabin, you can see Sticky had indeed been hastily bandaged up. He was not doing well, but he was trying to hide it by staying strong. "So Caeda, how'd ya find out bout dat sack thing? Did ya see one of them fish-head monsters sneak down here or sumthin?"
"Aye aye captain." Kulee says as the ship sails towards the hamlet. The travel was largely uneventful aside a bout of bad winds, ensuring that it truly does take about two hours before the crew arrives to the fishing hamlet. It looked much like what one would expect; a small encirclement of huts right outside a pier, with the largest building being the temple. It was a humble wooden temple, only different from the huts as it was a log cabin as oppose to sticks and straw. There wasn't many people here at all. Or rather, there was no one here at all. Tayang was the first to spot this. As the ship came close to the docks, Tayang approached you. "Captain, don't see any villagers here. Tis the middle of the day so I suspect most of the fishermen ain't here, but I don't see no fishwives or anything. Ought we moor and find out where everyone is at?"
Damn shame my Irish. But if you ever want to try for a version 2, you know who to call.
"What is this place, some sort of castle? This big empty space here is fucking annoying." Orchid complained seeing the massively long hall here. There was no way for Orchid to reach the mage from here, not withing focusing her entire effort just on chasing him down. And when he vanished, Orchid knew it was a lost cause. And out of no where a drake of all things also appeared. Was it summoned or always here? Didn't matter. It was Orchid's opponent right now. "Oi! Scaley! Come at me!" Using her innate aggression, Orchid hurled her glaive at the drake, though she doubts her blade would land from this range. Afterwards she moves back a few feet, making sure to stay at least 50 ft away from the drake. "Someone stabilize MacAlister so we can take out this drake!"
