Again, judge about how strong your character should be... for example, after a dungeon, or so, a snivy that didn't start with the move, would learn Vine Whip.... also, move training is a thing in this RP, basically, the more you use them, the stronger moves are here, however, Kabling can't be stuffed keeping track of that, so you'll have to kind of do that, or don't, and just assume that a move that your character uses often will be at about the right strength for whatever you need at the time.

Dragons like them are A-okay... I mean, one of the main characters is a goomy, and another is a skrelp (*soon to evolve into a dragon)... also, he who plays an amaura character has long since left the RP. His character is no longer considered relevant.

Also, technically, Riolu is considered a 'baby'-stage pokemon, so, I was just covering my bases, lol.

As for the story... hm... it's kind of an even mix between the three, just whatever works at the time.

And given pikachu's stats... I guess I'll accept it, but Electabuzz, Magmar, Lucario, and Jynx are all no-gos.

It does not. Also, it just sometimes happens, though, most shadow pokemon will be basically 'shunned' by their hometown.

I'm kinda working on that, myself, and I've got a few ideas in my head, as far as the lore goes, HOWEVER, the whole 'closed door' thing is absent in this... shadow pokemon are created either via direct contact with, or being the offspring of another who's had contact with an old and lost super-soldier serum from the war in the timeline. They tend to be more aggressive than most, but aren't always flat-out evil.

Evolution works just based on just about what level you WOULD be if we were keeping track, it's a much looser system, so after a few dungeons, or something, you could evolve a cyndaquil into a quilava.

You don't have to read any backstories, so don't worry. And yes, we won't be using the traditional level system, thanks to Kabling being the bookkeeper of this RP... and not being able to keep track of said levels. You'll get used to it pretty quickly, I think.

Well... let's see... Kabling will probably give you a better description, but I guess I could explain a little something before you make your app. It has to do with sub-types. There's shadow (the type that exists in the gamecube pokemon games, and acts similarly), Void (Usually grey, or purple in coloration, they are weak to light moves, but immune to shadow moves. They also resist their own type, which is normally effective against everything else), and Light (which resists shadow and light, their moves are also super-effective against shadow pokemon, but are only normally effective against any typical pokemon type). There's a thing called 'differences' in the app, and that can be used to make your pokemon character a bit more of an individual, HOWEVER, I will not allow someone to abuse this system and make OP pokemon, such as anything with the 'wonderguard' ability, or types that cancel out a main weakness... I MAY allow a shadow pokemon, but you'd need a really good app for that... oh, and that's also where you'd list your character's sub-type if you want them to have one (most pokemon don't, by the way).

This is also secretly based on a post-apocalyptic Earth, and references to 'old' tech is acceptable, but said tech would be unusable. IE: You could find a broken CD, but it wouldn't play music (though, some CDs are still usable, they have had their data overwritten with TM data by a group of Porygon who we may or may not meet in the series... they're TMs, now, but won't do anything other than act as TMs)

Also, not only that, but I've got an entire series for this RP planned out. Er, though, we won't be able to use our old (read: current) characters in that future RP.
