You forgot to divide that one. They're partially resistant to fire, in that they 'take' half damage from it. So, you dealt 8 damage, leaving the mage with -12.

That's what we're afraid of, but I can't incorporate everyone into the same plot, those who joined in later and/or have weaker characters will feel as if they're useless, or irrelevant... thus, several plots end up happening in the same RP, but we're trying to work in more interaction between teams.

I actually don't do too much, other than perhaps discuss whatever plotline their team would want to follow. Obviously, I'd have to do such a thing with someone, usually the "leader" of that team. As for missions, that's up to whomever's character makes it to the board first, or has an idea for a mission. This little thing is due to the fact that my older RPs had every RPer waiting for me to push them every second of the way. It eventually became too much for me, so yeah.

Oh, the NUMBER of people isn't normally the problem on the old place, it's just... all of the decent RPers ran off, specifically, to here. The fact that I ran off to here was simply a coincidence, as I don't really consider myself a half-decent RPer, and ran here for my own reasons, specifically, the only half-decent Rper who didn't run off was a complete punk to me, and a hypocrite.
