Yeah, if you feel like you need to take a break, go ahead. I'm sure people are busy with school or work or whatever anyway.
I tend to get most of my news from ygorganization, since they tend to get it before anyone else, update on a regular basis, and have YGO news not just related to cards.
The day's investigation had been disheartening. Not just because they had spent the entire day investigating and had little to show for it, but also because Nathaniel was hit with the revelation that he might be a possible target of attack because of his performances, and what little enthusiasm he had for the investigation just drained out of him. He cursed his luck. It was always his love of entertainment dueling that got him into trouble for some reason.

As the team met up later that night, Nathaniel thought about what he should do. His modus operandi had always been to avoid trouble whenever possible, but that seemed less likely by the day. If trouble is unavoidable, which at this point seemed likely, then Nathaniel decided that he must take initiative.

As the team began to split up, Nathaniel followed after Megan and Leander to the Ante Duel. It would be the perfectly opportunity to gather some information on this unseen enemy. Besides, someone has to be the voice of reason.
@Ammokkx

Yeah, I don't mind.

Hmm..... perhaps you're right. Maybe I'll try a different idea.

Name: Lead the Assault
Spell type: Quick-Play
Effect: You can shuffle one '/Assault Mode' monster from your hand into the Deck; Special Summon one Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose name is similar to the sent monster's name, minus '/Assault Mode'.

Despite the fact that I think this could have some balancing issues with Stardust Dragon, I more want to touch on the PSCT. It should probably be

Effect: Shuffle one '/Assault Mode' monster from your hand into the Deck; Special Summon one Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck that is written in the card text of the shuffled monster.

EDIT: Also, I know I haven't been posting lately, but school is proving to be quite time-consuming. I'll try to squeeze one in over the weekend.
"Achoo!" Nathaniel suddenly covered his mouth as he took a big sneeze. It caught him completely by surprise, since he was definitely healthy. Super weird, and super embarrassing. In an attempt to save himself some face, he cleared his throat and decided to speak up.

"Okay, while you guys do your weird... sneaky... stuff, I'll go ahead and see if I can find out a little more about the incident this morning." He said, gesturing his hands towards the group that Megan had formed before crossing his arms and thinking about what to do himself. Not being someone who enjoyed sneaking around or getting into trouble, Nathaniel figured he could at least go see the girl and see how she's doing. And maybe ask the faculty some questions. He looked around at the rest of the students gathered. "I should probably ask. Does anyone here actually know the girl they found this morning?"
Nathaniel sighed. He had made his point, but it seems like everyone was quite adamant about doing this. It seemed the new girl was on the same page as Nathaniel, but it wasn't likely that a mere two people will be able to convince the room to back out when they seemed to jump at the opportunity.

What's more, Haas did have a point. There has been so much chaos at the school these past few days, yet classes continue as usual, and the school has done barely anything. They have not even increased security at all, which is pretty strange. Nathaniel had heard about schools being lax in enforcing anti-bullying policies, but one would think that they would take more action when the school gets attacked and the students start forming gangs. Nathaniel had his reservations about doing anything too drastic, but maybe the situation calls for it this time.

"Alright, fine. Just try not to get into too much trouble. And don't do anything crazy or dangerous." Nathaniel said, before giving Maisy and Megan the stink eye.
More like Thousand-Eyes Unrestricted!

Hey-o!

...Anyone?
Nathaniel didn't remember much about the talent competition. He was actually so nervous that he blanked out for pretty much the entire duration of the performances. With that said, he wasn't too disappointed when he found out he didn't win, since he didn't have very high hopes for the competition to begin with. He had spent the rest of the day tinkering with his deck and studying before heading to bed.

He heard the news the next morning about a girl who was found unconscious in the desert with a Duel Runner. It seemed to be one thing after another in this school. First, there was the attack on the school by those hooded figures. Then there's that whole thing with the Dark dorm. And now a student was found outside unconscious. Without class, Nathaniel spent his morning pondering these series events, wondering if they were connected, and if they were an omen of things to come. He didn't have to ponder long however, as Haas soon called him to have a meeting of some sort in the cafeteria.

Nathaniel had wondered why Haas had called them all out, although he did have a faint idea. As he sat there in the cafeteria listening to Haas asking them to form some sort of investigation team, Nathaniel was skeptical. He was worried about these events just as much as anyone else, but perhaps this was a bit much. While most people seemed to be all for Haas's idea, Nathaniel strangely found himself agreeing with the first student who had stormed out. He may not have put his ideas in the most tactful way possible, but he did have a few good points.

"Whoa whoa whoa. Are you guys all just okay with this?" Nathaniel asked, standing up from his seat with his hands in the air, palms out as if asking everyone to stop and think. "That first fellow who left may not have stated his ideas in the most tasteful manner possible, but don't you think he has a point? Shouldn't we be leaving this to the campus security who have way more training and resources to take care of this? I mean, it's their job to protect us. What if we end up meddling in their investigation and end up making everything worse? What if we get in real trouble and end up getting hurt?"
