Current I just realized my name is uncaptialized from before we moved. Apparently instead of being an important person, I am now just a random NPC... *sad panda*

Been a while, but let's see what trouble I can stir up on RP Guild. ^.^

Bio

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead." -Oscar Wilde

Onwards to a new bio!~

So, the types of role-plays I enjoy most? Romance first, adventure second and if you can mix the two together - you're my hero, forevers. I also love fantasy, enjoy sci-fi, interested in steampunk, and can usually find my way around 'slice of life' types.

About me? Very, very simple ... and pay attention; I am a lesbian, girly-girl, nerdy gamer. However you feel about that, that's who and what I am. So in turn, my personas (or characters) are also lesbians, more feminine / submissive, and if in modern or sci-fi RPs, usually a gamer of some sort. \(^.^)/ Also, I love and adores kittes. <3 So sometimes I like to play cat girls, but worry not for I consider myself someone who skirts around causal to advanced. Character development is my world, yo.

Also you might hear me talk about my wife from time to time, but I'm also polyamorous, so there's that as well. In short I don't judge and I'm open to friendly chats, RP offers (if I have room) and otherwise any other questions or comments. <3

RP Guild Family
Wholockgal - My wife! Who is a huge Dr. Who & Sherlock fangirl.
Nallore - Invited me to an awesome RP and became my friend. <3 (Always asks me what I want to talk about. xD)
Caits - My unofficial sister. She doesn't know yet, unless she reads this. =3
Soufflegirl123 - Lover of Dr. Who and always says hi to me whenever I join chat. ^.^

You said ... we get a week IC to do things and now we got two days, lol... gotta fit Ranae getting at least her costume by then and having at least one night out, geez. xD But yeah, figured there was a few people not posting at all. Was about to poke the OOC today, but no need to now! *Pokes anyways*
I like private voting... ^.^ Though I've already thought ahead for my character's reason for joining either side no matter the choice ends up being. Also two powers I'd enjoy would be ... super intelligence and the same supernatural combat my girl has. ;)

(As Dingo includes powers that cover multiple powers, thus cheating, lol)
Wow, I didn't even notice... o.o'
Hope it's an enjoyable read. ^.^

They had been going at it for a full five minutes, which anyone that knew how a real fight went compared to the Hollywood movies, knew five minutes was a prolonged battle. Somehow, even though Aki was holding back for Ranae’s sake, she had managed to keep him at bay for this long. He went a bit slower, took longer to react, but she still showed amazing skill in being able to predict his movements - something that both surprised and interested Aki. Though he had spent his life training his body and practiced breathing techniques and endurance, Ranae’s stamina was almost at his level and in a small way, he felt disbelief despite the facts.

Finally, Aki jumped away, causing the young lady to mimic his maneuver and ready her next strike before he held his palm up, motioning that she was to pause. With a slight hesitation, she finally stood up straight, glancing to her fellow students. Ranae didn’t blame them for looking at her like that; disbelief, shock, uncertainty - she felt the same inside as her gaze went back to her sensai who only stared at her with a quiet reflection.

“Ranae-san ...” he started, lowering his hand and folding his hands behind his back. “Have you been holding back this entire time?” The question had took Ranae by surprise as she shifted her stance back a little, but soon realized where he was coming from.

“No sensai, I- ... I’m not sure how I’m doing this ...” The thought was already planted though as she noticed her peers looking at her with less disbelief and more disgust - the idea of her fooling them making them upset, as if she had played them all as fools. After all, who would believe she could’ve suddenly gained such skill in only a week?

Aki was unsure however, despite Ranae’s peers settling into the idea and simply nodded. “I see... well, for now we’ll unofficially grant you the title of ‘Journeyman,’ but this new development requires some thought. You are all dismissed..” He bowed his head respectfully to the class as everyone stood up and bowed deep at the waist. As Aki left the room, so did the other students, but not before giving her sneers and disappointed looks - except one of the younger men who only addressed her with confusion.

Ranae’s Apartment

She had turned the T.V. Off after dinner, avoiding watching the news, mostly because she never watched the news though she admitted to herself to avoiding any news concerning any possible discoveries of super powers or other strange events. She knew she couldn’t just put this up to chance or something that she caught on to by some weird mental technique. It wasn’t luck either because in the full five minutes she spent in that sparring with Aki, she was flooded with knowledge of moves and skills that she had never been taught. It wasn’t like they had overwhelmed her and in fact had the opposite effect; she felt more in control and more calm than she ever felt in a situation like that and she could recall the same knowledge even now.

It wasn’t just knowledge though. She felt her reflexes heighten, her perception grow, and her body move faster - no, this was not normal at all and with her fascination with the comic book world, her mind almost instantly went to the existence of super powers. The question wasn’t what anymore, but how she got them and she spent the last hour trying to figure it out, running through the last few days until it the realization hit her. The bus. It was the only out of ordinary thing that she could describe and it wasn’t like you got in a crash like that everyday, but it didn’t really answer how the event caused her sudden adaptation unless her power was genetic on some level.

Even beyond this, she finally had something to reach her first goal. She ran her fingers through her brown hair and stroked Axlis’ back a few times before she started to purr, making the woman break into a small smile. “So, what do you think Axlis’? What sort of name should I get?” Ranae tilted her head a bit, but Axlis’ didn’t care, just closing her eyes as she continued to purr happily. Shaking her head, Ranae looked around the room for a bit and spotted on of the comics that had fallen from the shelf sometime while she was gone. The woman hopped up and bent over to pick the book up and place it back when the cover gave her an idea.

“.... hm ... black .... I like red better.” She slide the comic book of Black Canary back into the shelf and paused. “Red Canary. Has a nice ring to it.”
o.o?

Anyways, working on my post now. Dunno when it'll be done, but probably today. ^.^
Probably post tomorrow. ^.^
I'm really excited about this role-play as well. ^.^ I keep imagining Ranae and Frid are going to be the hardest to tell they have powers.
Sorry Prince! What I was getting at is just because it says a power (for example) can destroy worlds, time-travel, and control minds, and grant super-strength, doesn't mean giving a character super strength and time-travel is a good idea, just because (in this example) it's a toned down version of all the things the power is capable of. You need to match your power with what's presented ...

Like I said, the hair one is probably one of the more powerful ones and probably my own - but they all have rather large drawbacks. With how you have it setup, even if it's hard, messing with things at the atom level is beyond any character in the RP currently - in my opinion. It's not personal, I think telekinesis is an awesome power, just need to retrain it. If you want my opinion (or ignore if you don't care, haha), I'd go with this;

Level 1 abilities:
Spatial Sense: To "see" one's surroundings using telekinesis. This is is a great deal of help to Christian without the use of his eyes but it comes and goes, sometimes being very specific while at others being to vague to be of use or absent completely.
Levitation: To lift an object, e.g. raising a pitcher several inches into the air.
Maneuver: Alter an object's directional course, e.g. changing what number a dice lands on or deflect an opponent attack.
Grip: Grasp an object firmly in place, e.g. hold back something thrown at the user
Pull/Push: Pull objects towards the user or to push objects away from the user, e.g. yanking a book off a shelf or sliding a cup across a table.

Level 3 abilities:
Ballistic Telekinesis: Where the user causes any nearby objects to be moved around the user at high speeds or to be propelled away from the user without conscious effort from the user of the power.
Flight: Use telekinesis to fly. (Extremely taxing on the user and not effective as a means of transport, eg wouldn't rival those with flying ability)
Choking: Strangle others.

Level 5 abilities:
Force Fields: Condense the air around oneself in order to make protective shields, e.g. deflecting bullets.
Cutting: Use telekinesis to cut things.
Generally excepted from the wiki is more akin to, it documenting all levels and uses of telekinesis since it's such a widely broad power. I'd say cutting would take place of atomic manipulation since setting random people on fire is ... well ... anyone short of invincible skin and super-speed can't counter that (or another mental user). I don't know, maybe I'm just misunderstanding the description. :p
