"... My magic system...", he mumbled. "Cruz...?", Pamela asked again.

"I...I'll just confess. That code... Reality/RESET... it damaged my magic system.", he said. Lyn just let her fork fall down on the ground. "You're... saying that the magic you used was able to damage your entire system?!", she asked. "It's an emergencial code. Its meaning is to restore my homeland. It's only usable by the... by certain technomagicians. It restores everything that has been destroyed into its original state. However, that damages the user's entire magic system.", he explained. Both Lynda and Pamela just looked at him, shocked after hearing all of that. "My state of coma... was supposed to be longer. I would have to be sleeping for a week, for it to recover fully. However... since I broke the estimated time, and if I calculate it rightly, I only recovered 40% of my system. And even if it's big, it's not enough.", he kept explaining.

"So in the end... you did a fake analysis and lied to us. Now it begs the question... why?", Lyn questioned. "... I... just never wanted anyone worried about me. I agreed with myself that, independent of my actions so far, I would let fate decide for how long my life should be. And I don't want anyone worrying about some so- ARGH!!", Cruz's arm flickered once more. "I... I-I think it's best if we returned you to your room and put you on your bed. Maybe a little more rest can make things better.", Pamela suggested. It was written on her face that she was seriously cncerned. But Cuz was reluctant to that idea. "Gghh... there's... no need to... I can't rest anymore... not with much things that I still have to do.", his face expressed pain, although he didn't wanted to rest again... because of his kingdom.

"... Ryan, your orders.", Lyn asked to him. She directly knew that talking with Cru is a waste of time, deciding to go to an authority and leaving her way of doing things aside.

"Well, to be honest... even though he is walking well, we aren't that so sure... He did a quick analysis on his body and magical state and everything seemed normal.", Pamela said, with a worried face. Lyn looked down. She hadn't start eating her pancakes. "That... magic he used to rebuild the town. Do any of you have any plausible idea of what that was? I mean, to make a destroyed town back to normal in just a second...", Lyn commented. Pamela started to think a little about it.

Then, Cruz came to them and sat down. But after he put his plate on the table, his right arm flickered, like an image being shown on a TV that's almost breaking up. He felt a moderate pain. "Cruz, are you alright?!", Pamela was the first to ask. "D-Don't worry about it. It... was absolutely nothing.", he said, holding the arm. But the said arm flickered once more. "Alright, that's it. I'll take you to your room.", Lyn said, getting up. "I... I said it's fine! You don't have to worry about me!", he said. "No discussion. If whatever happening at your arm looks painful, what if it happens at your legs too?", she asked, still with a serious face. Cruz looked down to the ground and stood quiet. He was nervous to admit, but just because he woke up didn't mean he was ready.

"A-A-A-Ahh!! Y-Y-You perv!! J-Just because you're from the student council d-d-doesn't mean you have to say such... s-such indecent, perverted things!!", Pamela screamed getting red, like a tomato. "Dude, I understand about harassing someone, but that was way too much.", she said. "... Wait a minute. I didn't got it. What do you exactly mean by public affection? And what this about bedrooms?"

The two girls couldn't do anything other than looking with faces of awe. And on a negative sense. "Don't tell me... a technomagician, supposed to know everything, is so clueless about love?", Lyn asked. "It's not like I don't understand what love is, I just... Wait, no, I really don't understand anything about love. I've read it about it, but...", he said. Lyn just slapped her own face in disappointment, but at the same time she laughed a little. After all, Ryan's trick to get both embarassed didn't work. Or rather, it worked halfway. Pamela sighed a little. He didn't got embarassed, but she knew she had to let go of his arm. And Cruz... let's just say he left to the food stand, wondering about what Ryan said, seeing himself as a completely clueless and innocent children.

"After this, I don't think anything worse can happen.", she commented while sitting. "C-Could you please leave your abusiveness away whenever I'm walking with Cruz, please?", she said, on a serious tone. "Says the girl that is abusing of how clueless he is to walk around making it look that you two are dating... when you aren't. Would it hurt for you to stop those rumors? People keep asking me about them and it's giving me a headache.", Lyn commented. Pamela simply looked away angry.

The trio entered the cafeteria. Pamela was hugging Cruz's arm tightly while walking with a big smile and don't even knowing the faces that both made. "Ugh... I've slept for a long time. I didn't thought that emergency codes were that exhausting...", he spoke. "I was like, really worried, you know! I mean, what if you didn't woke up?!", Pamela said. "... Let's just get our lunches. We're late, you know.", Lyn said, leaving to see what was today's food.

Then, the two walked towards everyone and sat. "Hey... so, what did I lost?", he asked.

Magio and Lucifer escaped from the Nightmare Realm after some time.


Magio: I guess we're finally safe...
Lucifer: Ya can say that again, Pal.

Then, as they looked back at the blank world, Lucifer noticed a scene going on, not too far from them.

Lucifer: Pal, what is that?

Magio: A dream? No... that feeling.. is it a memory?
Lucifer: The way you sound isn't the best possible...

Magio: It's hard for a dream to become a Nightmare, but a memory can easily become one. I just wonder, whose memory is...
Lucifer: Hey, Pal! Isn't that guy with the blue hair your friend?

They approached the memory a little. When Magio looked, it was a memory from Agni. Exactly, yhe memory when he discovered that he and Nessiah were the same person and decided to cross the border of Nirvana to commit his own death.


Magio: Agni... then, this memory is...
Lucifer: That memory ya told me, huh? Not cool, you know.

Lucifer: Whoa, what's going on?!

Magio: The memory is being taken! It will become a Nightmare!

BGM: FRIENDS (Outtake Ver.)

The memory left out a big balck cloud of fog, blocking all vision. When it disappeared, an embodiment that matched Agni appeared.

Lucifer: Ugh... huh, what's that thing?

Magio: C-Could it be...? That's Agni... rather, his Nightmare!
Lucifer: And it seems he's ready to finish us!

Special Nightmare Battle!
VS. Nightmare Agni

The Nightmare dashed and slashed its own gunblade at Magio. He was able to defend it with the Keyblade, but had to step back a little.


Magio: I hate to do this to you, Agni... White Edge!!

An brilliant slash was shot from Magio's vertical swing. The Nightmare tried to shoot it, but all bullets were deflected and the slash hit its target.


Magio: So, the slash is impervious to bullets... well, that's nice to know.
Anna: Prince!!

Anna came running towards the scene. She had arrived a while ago, near the Dream Castle. But once she heard from the guards that Magio wasn't there, she decided to look around for him.


Anna: W-What is that?!

Magio: Agni was possessed by his own Nightmare. It's not a Ranked one, but I never expect that HE would be possessed on a time like this.

Anna: Agni... is there any way to save him without fighting him?!

Magio: This is practically the first time I deal with Nightmares, so I don't know.
Anna: Then... we have no other choice but to do it?! I... I simply cannot!
Magio: Me neither, but I don't see another solution.
Lucifer: Pal, look out!

Under Lucifer's sudden advice, Magio grazed a slash by a hair.


Anna: Agni!! Please stop!!
Lucifer: I don't think this Nightmare will let him hear ya...

Anna: No... I don't want to-

Magio: Watch out!

The Nightmare went towards Anna in order to slash her. But a scarlet meteor separated a space between them. It was Necrox.


Necrox: You'll have to explain a lot later.

Magio: And you don't think I know that?

Anna: Prince Necrox...!!

Necrox: We'll take care of him. Just head back to the Dream Castle!

Anna: But-

Necrox: NOW!! We don't have the time!!

Listening to his orders, Anna ran away back to the Dream Castle. Necrox pointed Gae Bolg towards the Nightmare.


Necrox: Strong of heart and weak of soul... this is annoying, but it fits the patter of nightmarish memories.

Magio: Alright, let's go!

School: Corridors

Lilly just leaned at the door of hers and Marie's room. She waslked around for a while and was tired. Although used to adventuring, she wasn't the physical type of person.


Lilly: Haaaaaah... I'm... tired.

Satori: Already?

Lilly: AAAAH!!! D-DON'T APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE!!!

Satori: Don't scream... the other students are sleeping...

Satori: And about Marie... do you wish for me to talk to her that you're waiting for her?

Lilly: Let it be... she'll probably come here not too long.

Satori: I see. Also, can you explain me something?
Lilly: Whaaaat?

Satori: Alice. What is she even doing here?

Lilly: Why are you asking me?! I didn't even knew she was here to begin with!

Satori: I see. Well then, I'll ask another person then. Good night.

Satori disappeared and left to see if someone knew about Alice and her intentions. Lilly simply entered on her room.

Agni's Dream?

At the far end of Heaven's Gate, at the floating isle of Ancardia, lies the border of Nirvana, where devils and souls from hell could get their chance to walk towards the light. Agni reached it and looked at the brilliant light at his front.


Agni: The border of Nirvana, where the stray can walk a path towards divinity...

Agni: Only demons without the Chains of Sin can cross it and survive. The rest can receive a full death if they try to cross it. And this death... is what I need...

However, in the moment he started to walk, rocks fell towards his way, blocking the path between him and Nirvana. After that, Seraph appears in a flash, pointing his sword at Agni.


Agni: S-Seraph!!

Seraph: ... Are you out of your mind? Crossing Nirvana with those Chains... are you asking for your death?

Agni: That's what we need! If I don't, Nessiah will... he will come back!

Seraph: Giovanni...

Agni: I... I am his emotions. The ones which he threw away. Through me, he can resurrect and start everything again... so I need to cross the border... and die.
Seraph: ... And what if I object?

BGM: Memory of Tears


Agni: S-S-Seraph...

Seraph: ... I won't let you reach Nirvana. I won't let you kill yourself.

Agni: P-Please, I beg you... just let me cross the border and end this...

Seraph: My final answer is... no...

Agni's tears rolled down like a waterfall. He grabbed his gigantic hammer and let out a howl...


Agni: Argh... ARRRGH!!!

He swinged it towards Seraph, but the angel's evasion at the moment was impervious. He wouldn't let his friend die.


Seraph: Giovanni, what are you-

Agni: If you won't let me cross it... then... I'll end you!!

Seraph: (Damnit... why has it come to this...)

Agni: Please... at the very end... just forgive me!

The battle begun. Through many swings, the sword and the hammer collided and clashed. Seraph was trying to be fast, so he could end this in the quickest way possible. However, the resistance that Agni had in his heart was truly strong, so nothing would stop him from crossing Nirvana to reach his death and the world's freedom from Nessiah's possible return.

Spring Zone: Hunter's Hideout

The hideout wasn't the best home eber. It had a sofa, an old fridge and a stove. For them, it was everything they needed. Ariel was sleeping at the sofa in the moment, while Jinheki was putting some sake at a cup. The door opened and Azrel came in.


Jinheki: Now you can start explaning to me why did you save her. She's a wanted criminal, you know.

Azrel: I have my reasons.

Jinheki: Let me guess... her bounty...

Azrel: Not that. If I really wanted her bounty that bad, I wouldn't have fought against Freudia and Sakuya, you know...

Jinheki: Then... why?

Azrel: I... just can't tell it now.

Jinheki: ... Mystery isn't my favorite genre. Don't go keeping these enigmas.

Azrel: In due time, I'll tell.

Nightmare Realm

BGM: Saizelig ((Finally found it!))

The Nightmare were being defeated by Magio, but it seemed endless. Now he knew why so many guards came to the Nightmare Realm, all at once.


Magio: I'm being able to handle them... but I don't know how much I will be able to keep this up. If only I wasn't alone...

Then, pillars of flames surrounded him. The ring in Magio's hand, which came with him from the real world, shot a single fireball that exploded and became Lucifer.

Lucifer: Yo, Pal! You alright there?

Magio: Lucifer?! How did you-
Lucifer: Why don't you look at your hand?

Magio: ... Your ring! Wait... how are you able to even hear me?! I didn't used my magic on you!
Lucifer: Well, ya duh, I'm your Summon Spirit, right. So naturally, I would be able to be understand you without you speaking.

Magio: ... I don't get it. But I don't think now's the time to be guesing!
Lucifer: Alright then, give me your command, Pal!

Magio: Command: Blaze -Spiral-!!

Lucifer smiled wildly as he became a massive fireball that made circles around Magio. His movement gave birth to a big tornado of fire that engulfed any Nightmare next to them.

School: Guild's Tent

BGM: Traverse Town


Agni: Yaaaaawn... guess I'll be the first to hit the sack...

Anna: I am considering it too. I am indeed sleepy.
Lilly: Guuuuys!!

Lilly came to the tent. She had not see it before.


Lilly: So, this is where the people of the Guild are... the tent looks resistant enough...

Lilly: Getting to the point, did some of you saw Marie? I thought that she could be here so-

Agni: She just got upstairs...

Lilly: ... You're joking, right? Tell me that there wasn't a possibility that I passed through her and didn't noticed.

Anna: Ummm...

Lilly: Ugh... I'm too distracted this days. If things end up like this, I'll have a big A- on my grades.

Anna: (While many students would consider theirselves lucky with an A-.)

Lilly: I'll go back upstairs again. If I don't find her and she comes back, I'll be on my and her room.

She left grumbling about her current level of distraction.


Agni: I guess I'll... follow her. Better than falling off in the ground... good night, guys.

Anna: Ah, I will go too. Good night everyone! And say good night to the rest of the members for me!

The two walked after Lilly towards the building. Agni was tumbling a little.

Spring Zone: Abandoned Way

Even though it wa a two-vs-one, Freudia and Sakuya weren't managing to hit Azrel at all. His power to become a shadow and traverse through 2D and 3D gives him an advantage against those who can only work at one dimension.


Azrel: Had enough already?

Sakuya: Ugh... he's good...

Freudia: But I will not relent! Eislanze!!

Freudia shot a round-shaped ice blade towards Azrel. He saw that the alley which Jinheki and Ariel escaped and decided to change his plans. Once evading the blade with a high jump, he amied at them and used a Spell Card.


Azrel: Bombard "Explosive Round"!!

Around 20 bullets were shot from Azrel's gun towards their direction. It didn't got through either Freudia or Sakuya, but the bullets exploded on the moment they got near the two women, creating a big cloud of smoke. Using that opportunity, Azrel entered in the alley and escaped. When the cloud cleared, both were fine thanks to Sakuya's time control, but he was gone.

*BGM fades*


Sakuya: He escaped...

Freudia: ... Always a problem...

Sakuya: I will pursue him. Just wait.

Freudia: Hold it. There's no need to do that.

Sakuya: W-What? Why not?

Freudia: Let's just leave. We'll end up calling unnecessary attention if this keeps up.

Sakuya: ... So be it.

Summer Area: Scarlet Devil Mansion

Inside their room, Azure and Zatracenie discussed about becoming Summon Spirits, although it evolved itself into an argument, since the dark stray girl was against all of this.


Azure: Zatracenie... You are not understanding it...

Zatracenie: Do you seriously want to become a slave? Is that what you want?

Azure: No. But... I just want to be useful to someone. I just want to be an aid instead of a burden...

Zatracenie: ... And what about a peaceful life? Being involved in others' problems gave me a lot of trouble.

Azure: I know, but-

Zatracenie: Azure, I'm serious now. We're NOT becoming Summon Spirits! That's just unreasonable!

Azure: Zatracenie-

Zatracenie: No more! That's the final decision!

BGM: Each Promise

As she started to leave, Azure created a wall made of electricity to block Zatracenie.


Zatracenie: A-Azure?!

Azure: I want to become a Summon Spirit, no matter what the cost! And I will become, even if you do not wish to be my friend anymore!

Zatracenie: W-What?! I didn't hear that... I seriously didn't hear that!

Azure: It might be a selfish desire, but I want to be helpful. I just cannot ignore everything that happens to live a blissful, yet unreal peace! That is not me!

Zatracenie: Y-You're spourting nonsense! Stop all of this and just listen to me!

Azure: Zatracenie, I promise. I promise that I will do everything to give us a true peace that will last.

Zatracenie: A-A-Azure!!

Azure: I am sorry... but I must go!!

She jumped off the window and flied away, without any direction. Zatracenie tried to slash the wall to break it, but it was too late. Azure had already left wehn she managed to do it.

Well, IMO, it could have been better. The poorly-crafted sword and some other things. Maybe I'm just being nitpicky.

Also, editing DBFC sprites are really hard! How people manage to edit them?
