So this will be set in the supernatural universe, right? I mean, will the events of Supernatural have occurred, timeline wise, or will it be just an alternate reality with similar mechanics and creatures? Either way, I'm in! Also, how would magic work? In the series they use it, but its the traditional kind, with set spells and rituals, but it doesn't really explain how things work.
WIP Name:Jynmi Imsar Age: 17 Race:Human Height and Weight: 6'2, 220 lbs Pirate or Marine: Pirate [Appearance]: Jynmi has silver white hair, a healthy tan thanks to his time travelling with the marines, and pale blue eyes that are the color of a blue sky with a thin layer of clouds. He always wears thick rimmed glasses, and has a small scar on the left side of his cheek from the last time his father and him talked. Bounty: 50,000 Beli(I think, but it could be more) Personality: He's an INFJ personality type. I'll expand on this more later. History: Jynmi was born to a well to do merchant, and spent the first decade of his life training under his father's stern eye, learning how to run the family business. This proved very unsatisfactory for the young man who more than anything wanted to read the literary works of those long gone legends, masters of the written word. At first his father believed he could force his way through the young man's stubbornness, but as time went by it became apparent that this method would end in failure. Thus since his son wouldn't follow in his footsteps, Jynmi's father decided to give him an edge. So he arranged to have the boy travel the world with marines for inspiration and a better understanding of the world and how things worked. This did not have the effect his father had hoped for. Instead of becoming inspired with the world, the military, and everything in between, Jynmi became deeply disturbed by the world government, and how it controlled everything through what he saw as a corrupt military which valued strength and will more than logic and compassion. He did write a book, but it wasn't the magical career driven worked he'd dreamed of, but a long, critique of the world government, and an urging for everyone who found themselves living under the iron fist to rebel, and replace it with something better, more democratic, and interested in the plights of the working class. The first person he showed his book to was his father, whom immediately decried the book, and would've destroyed it, did destroy it, if not for Jynmi's decision to make a duplicate, just in case. There was a threat, give up the idea of crusading against the world government, or be disowned. He chose the former, at least up until the point where he went behind his father's back, forged some paper work, and published thousands of copies of his book, and shipping it out to various town markets. Before his father could find out, he packed his things, took the devil fruit from the family's safe, because you never knew when such a thing would come in handy, and fled with a boatman who he'd paid to help him escape. He didn't escape very far before the man learned of who he was, what he did, and dropped him off at the nearest port. Abilities: (Haven't decided what the devil fruit is yet.) Jynmi is very logical, and good at picking out details. He has an excellent memory, and is fairly well travelled. Despite lacking any formal training, he's managed to pick up a few things from travelling with the marines, and due to his size, he's got a fair amount of strength at his disposal. Techniques: None yet
@Ostarion you may indeed post interest. and the reason I have limited this to the cannon is because if people create their fruit the originals will be forgotten, the originals are so good and you can expand on their abilities, like my version of smoker is that he can turn an object into smoke and reform it, yes its not cannon but its using that fruit.
Oh okay so then we're allowed to add to the fruits ability so long as it's a logical expansion of what was shown in the series?
Someone who can make portals such as in the game portals. Or someone who is essentially a cartoon character like roadrunner
Basically. Portal guy would be someone who can make portals in the air and can portal people around. The Cartoon thing is basically it in a nutshell, basically a character with all the attributes of a Tex Avery cartoon. So whichever one you think would be better, I can play as.
I'm confused. I thought we were supposed to pick an already existing devil fruit?
Hello ladies and gentlemen of the Jumping through the multiverse" rp! FYI I'll get a post up sometime tomorrow or Tuesday.
Well the CS is there if you wanna make you're charcters, but i'll put a disclaimer on the first post of the fruits that are not available
Cool! I've got work in a little bit, but I'll be thinking about the kind of character I'd like to make. So hopefully I'll have everything planned out when I get back.
I'm in(terested!)
Interested!!..!!!...!!!!!!..!....
It wasn't a long voyage. Twenty minutes, give or take, before they made landfall at the port. It would've been simple enough to walk around the deck, and watch the water and sky for pokemon. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to catch anything, but it would be nice to see what was around if he ever came back this way again on his own. It was just he was too tired for anything more than sleep, and didn't want to do it on a bench, again. He settled on the sleeping cabins, and found the third one he tried unlocked. "Shhh." He whispered to the large Kangaskahn behind him. "Come on." They crept in and he closed the locked the door behind them. "Okay just ten minutes." He quickly got undressed and set the alarm next to the bed. He all but jumped in the bed, closed his eyes, and drifted off into a heavy slumber. Fifteen minutes later, he was still asleep. The boat would be arriving soon, said the digital clock on the side of the young man's bed, but he paid it no mind. Sleep hadn't come easy that night thanks to all the excitement. So he lay in his bed, snoring softly, dreaming of battles, badges, fame, and victories. A smile appeared on his face. Mama was up well before Jynmi, aware of the time, and when the boat was set to arrive, but she didn't make any effort to wake up him. Instead, she busied herself watching her child move around on shaky legs, exploring the small room, sniffing things here and there. The little Joey, as Jynmi had come to call him, didn't find himself with very many chances to wonder around on his own so he made the most of it by seeing to it that every edge, corner, and surface of the room was touched, sniffed, tasted, and touched again. Little Joey was in the process of once again investigating the part of Jynmi's blanket which hung off the bed, sniffing it and then giving it a light tug. The sheet slid off, and caused the young man's eyes to open. He blinked blearily and looked around. The scene looked familiar enough. Mama at a corner, watching Joey, his bag on the opposite end of the room. Joey looking up at him, blanket in hand. The clock reading thirty minutes after the time it was supposed to go off at. "I'm late again, aren't I Mama?" He mumbled, The Kangaskhan nodded, and stepped across the room to pick up the Joey, who went willingly, with a frown, into her sack. "Oh God I'm late!" Jynmi jumped out of bed, put on his clothes, grabbed his pack, and hurried out his room, hoping against hope he hadn't missed breakfast. Mama followed without a word, half smiling because she still found the whole song and dance amusing.
This is starting to look really cool! I'm still trying to decide what kind of character Want to play. I had an idea for an other world with a more science fiction setting, but since I can't think of anything more than the weapons(lasers, beam swords, etc, etc,) and the magic(manipulation based.) Well anyways, I think it would be cool to have a type of magic that wasn't really magic so much as it was an ability to extend your will, and use it to manipulate physical forces. http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Fundamental_Forces_Manipulation
