Question: If I want to create a character that uses magic from the Dresdenverse, how should I count it? Would it be one or two abilities? I mean, would being able to use magic count as one ability, and being a wizard(moderate ability to heal, wizard sight, soul gaze) count as another, or would they both just fall under being a wizard? Question(2): Also, since our abilities will fluctuate based on the physics of the world we're in, I'm assuming, it would be okay if we give our characters abilities that are extremely varied and noway connected with their other one, would this be correct?
Five or our more to go and I'll post the IC :D
At this rate, I don't think it'll be a problem :)
I'm going to start on my CS, and will hopefully have it up sometime today.
So for our abilities, we'll be able to choose anything from one of the series, or will we be able to make our own so long as there's a connection to one of them?
Yes please! I love that series :D
Oh this looks so cool! I'm in!! Have you ever read any of the Dresden Files book?
So cool! I'm in!
Yay! I can't wait. I've got high hopes for this!
Having powers (telepathy/telekinesis etc) might fit if the character we play as is demonic/angelic or a witch/warlock. The only reason Sam had powers was because his blood had been tainted by the Yellow-eyed Demon and he lost the powers shortly after the events of season 2. Also our GM has said this is going to be an original story so I dont know what he/she has planned in terms of what characters are available and if they are able to harness powers other than spells or hexes. EDIT: Never read the Monster Hunter books (only ever heard of a Monster Hunter game)
Well Monster Hunter International is a book series that reminds me a little of supernatural. The main difference is instead of hunters just being people who've been descended from other hunters, or who've been affected by supernatural, in the world of MHI, there are actually corporations who specialize in hunting. The government too has a branch dedicated to hunting creatures.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone read the monster Hunter International books?
