I vote on our ship being golden bloomer, and we'll be steel trunks pirates. : P
Abigail blinked. The whole thing was over so fast. "I thought it would be longer." She said to nobody in particular. "NOt that I'm complaining." She would've said more, because it seemed the occasion required someone to narrate but the soon to be captain said it was time to go and started moving. She hesitated for a moment, maybe two before nodding and called after the man as she started following him. "A quick exit works for me. HOnestly, I can't think of any good we'd do by staying here anyways. "
Jynmi hadn't heard about ThreeEye being absorbent anyway but orally but there was always a first time for everything. He shrugged and went back to what he was doing. "Okay. So, I haven't exactly done this before. I mean, I've worked it out in theory, but when your dealing with magic, or anything really, that's no guarantee, you know?" He finished drawing the circle and placed his finger in the center and concentrated. The tiniest fraction of his well traveled from his mind down into his arm and out into the wall. "Come on. Let's stand a little bit further back just encase my calculations are off." He stepped back, and then further back, and then a little bit further so he could hide behind a wall. "Okay here it goes." There was a loud sucking sound and then dust from the implosion blanketed the room.
"Uh." Abigail blinked down at her opponent. She'd be taught to be ready for anything in a fight, or just in general when existing in the world of pirates, but this was still kind of a lot to take in. The man who had tried to kill had evidently done the fighting, and total KOing for her. "Are we done?" She said to the man on the floor. "Because it feels like we're done." Slowly she stepped up to him and gently poked his body with the toe of her foot. "But I'll be honest that was a bit of a let down." She frowned and turned her attention to the rest of the bar.

"Well I've already got the sword out. Might as well do something with it. So, Let's see. Who else needs help? "
"Damn. I hate demons, but what's worst than demons? I mean, what could connect threeEye and demons?" Jynmi scratched his chin as he looked around. "I wonder if their doing more to people than just granting them the ability to see things? Whatever was going on here was definitely heavy duty. Come on. Let's check out the basement. If there's anything sinister, I mean more so that demon signs, we're going to find it in the basement." He walked down a few flights of stairs until he got down to the last level available to them. "Okay. Which one was it? God it seems like it happened forever ago." He started tapping walls until he touched on one that responded with a hollow sound.

He put his staff back in its sling and touched the wall with his hand. "Last time I did this there was a trap that almost killed me. I don't want to make that mistake again, ever, for as long as I lived, because that shit hurt." He took a deep breath and let his senses move into the wall. "There's something there, but I don't think its a trap. Could be wrong though. It wouldn't be the first time. Hell, it wouldn't be the seven hundredth and forty third time."

"I wanna try something." As if by magic, and not just that he'd gotten so used to the need for chalk he could have it materialize in his hands at a moment's notice, and he started drawing a circle on the wall.
Uh. I'm not really sure what to have Abigail do at this point. I mean, I could have her just ko her opponent(after a small fight) but that might be consider auto hitting. So?... I'll wait a bit and if nothing happens will put replying off till the morning.
"I'm not sure. It's been awhile since the last time I was here, and since then the wardens were supposed to have cleared the place out of anything super natural, but last time the warehouse used to be a packaging plant of some sort. The only place there was really anything juicy was in a secret basement right beneath the one that the general public knew about." Jynmi dusted the dirt off the back of his shirt. No matter how many times he cleaned the vehicle there was always dirt waiting on the driver's seat to sully his clothes. "You've got a point there." He pointed at the various footprints leading in and out of the various entrances. "But empty and abandoned are two different things." He headed towards the nearest entrance. "But there's no point in standing around trying to guess what's going on. Let's have a look inside."

Inside Jynmi stopped to gave the place a whistle. "Well this is a lot more creepy than I remember." He pointed at the various symbols carved into the walls. "These, I'm guessing, aren't your every day gang sign. I get the feeling there's magic flowing through them so watch out."
"The names Jynmi." He said, taking a left. "And there's not much to tell really. Awhile back the white council got me confused with the guy who was actually making the stuff. Can't remember his name for the life of me. It was just one long series of misunderstandings." Jynmi sucked his teeth in frustration. "So a guy accidentally finds himself at an orgy and he's a target for every warden in the tri-state area. I didn't even get to touch anyone and people were blasting me with everything from frozen of ice to electric balls of death. Long story short I managed to prove my innocence with a couple of well placed looks in the eyes. After that I helped out the guys that were trying to kill me and he got put down."

Another right, and there it was, the old abandoned building. "Here it is. Let's check it out."
Abigail folded her arms across her chest, but decided she didn't like that position so she put both of them on her hips. It made her feel like her mother, but in a good, I can get this done if everyone wouldn't bother with things like facts sort of way. "Of course I can fight!" It wasn't exactly a snap, more of what a snap would've been had there been any amount of confidence behind it. "If I couldn't then why would I be here trying to join a pirate crew."

She wasn't aware of what was going on behind her, tension with the cards, until the noise started. It happened so fast one second everyone was angry, just what you'd expect at a bar, and the next thing she knew people were firing and someone was coming at her with a sword. She wasn't sure what what type of the sword it was, but she wasn't certain the fact wouldn't matter when it made its way into her ribs. So she side stepped int and drew her own sword. "Look see. I'm not dead. That's a start, right?"
