Just put together a sheet with Spain's historical strength, you can see the one posted in the Characters tab for reference. You can use it's historical government or a different one if you feel like it would better suit you.

That's up to whoever is playing, the potential is there but through preventative measured it be avoided, though other players can try to instigate it.
Then I would like to claim the reich.
Germany got picked last night, sorry. The link to the actual RP is here. Though if you talk to him you might be able to work something out, or failing that you could play as a custom nation like a splinter of Germany that broke away from the rest.
