Sleep was invented by the communists to reduce the time we spend active.

That awkward moment when you glimpse a dog stylist advertisement and before you realize what it is, you assume it's an ad to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

A friend introduced me to a site called nanowrimo.org Technically a novel-writing site but they seem to have useful stuff for writing in general in the forums.

And thus began the great shipping wars.

<Snipped quote by Mardox>

Vestec probably won't like that. 'Sides, my demi-god is a little more ambitious than that.

"Little extra power" is a grand understatement. How would you like to be the luckiest demigod alive?
<Snipped quote by Frettzo>

It begins

Do you mean the end times or Vulamera being corrupted?
WAIT.

Vulamera will have a child with Vestec?

What sorcery is this?

Shipping due to a demigod needing to be born so a new guy can join us.
@poog the pig
Vakarlon would also give your weapon a little extra power in exchange for your soul.
If you think about it, though, a Demi-God is born with immortality, meaning their natural life span is infinite.

Very good point. Although we don't know if Reathos wants to use the base critter's lifespan. If so, only demigods with two divine parents would be safe.

I'm so excited (ಥ﹏ಥ)

While we're on the subject, what if Vestec gave my demi-god some form of weapon for conquering? You know, ensue some Chaos, no matter how good the intent is. Because every ruler/demi-god needs a cool god-forged weapon. Mythology sez.

Why not forge it yourself to make it truly special?

Come on give them a break, they are like a group of vandals who decided to attack a mall during Black Friday.

A break? Give us time. One does not play a game before the board is set.
<Snipped quote by Frettzo>

Looks like hell WILL break loose then...

I'm starting to feel that Reathos will just about invoke Armageddon...Who wants to start betting on how long (in turns) this universe last before we inevitably screw it all over?

Not getting anything but relations will start breaking down when a hero (or worse a demigod) reaches the end of their natural lifespan and Reathos/ The Knights of the Eternal Slumber come to carry out the natural order. Depending on the god(s) offended, immediate war may break out or a spiteful feud would ensue. Were it Vakarlon, he'd start his retribution by going around destroying Wells of Souls and attacking the champions of Reathos through direct and indirect measures. For an example of indirect measures, he might try cursing the entire Order of Knights with extremely bad luck to the point where Murphy's Law truly applies to them. Vakarlon is actually a likeable sort but the Fiery One Within is very vengeful. Once divine blood gets spilled there will be upheaval for sure.
Yup. Was thinking the same thing. Though at the start he may not go on a killing rampage yet. He'll bide his time. Grow stronger. But know that he detests all immortal heroes and demi-gods. (Gonna be funny if he eventually gets a child of himself)

I take it he sees them as an affront to the natural order? Well, the Knights of the Eternal Slumber will probably be viewed not as valiant hunters of the undead but as sinister villains who hound the greatest heroes. That is, if you use them that way.

According to him, the natural lifespan of an ant is fifteen years. So he intends to kill everything at the end of it's natural lifepsan, so all we have to do is make the natural lifespan of ants 1 billion and decrease the birth rate.

Genius, 10/10 plan, no faults.

I have serious reservations about this idea.
