Rose felt her hand being crushed be Elise. Rose tried to squeeze back but once she realized she would lose, she pulled her hand away. "That was very lady-like of you, but I guess that is just who you are. I wouldn't like you any other way." Rose rubbed her hurting hand. She did not know why she cared much about it. If her hand been crushed, it would have just mended herself. It would have hurt badly but it would have been fine. "I admit you are physically stronger than I am. Just goes to validate my reason for choosing the Urumi as my weapon. I have not aged a day. No, minute since I became a magical girl. My body now regenerates any wounds and it maintains my appearance. I cannot gain or lose weight even if I wanted to. I cannot get physically stronger like you can. I can however focus on magic. You however can get stronger. I would be honored to see you do so. Now, You seemed to have recovered your strength. Do you think you are up for another fight? The others are or should be fighting a Primordial as we speak. If not, we can go back to the party. I do kinda want to finish off that tea now that I do not need to share."

Sophia walked silently as the female Darkken lead her on. She passed through the halls of the castle. The walls were decorated with the exaggerated escapades of the Drakken people. It served as a effective propaganda to embolden Drakken and put fear into their foes. Sophia did not like the way the Drakken was so close to her. The Drakken went on and on explaining why she earned a bride. It was stupid, Sophia did not care. Sophia just remained silent. She did not need to make her life more miserable.

Stepping outside the castle finally brought no relief to Sophia. Her Mistress' carriage pulled up carrying a cage on its back. Instantly Sophia understood the purpose of it. She offered no resistance when the Drakken put her in the cage. The bars and floor was hot, really hot. Sophia squirmed in pain as it burned her. She bit her tongue to keep from screaming in pain. Eventually, Sophia calmed down. She used what cloth she head in her dress to separate her skin from the metal. It only relieved her suffering for a few seconds. Sophia resigned herself to her pain. No longer caring Sophia stopped trying to avoid the pain and sat as still as she could. She silently begged for death.

"Indeed it was fairly graceful. I wash my hands of that Primordial," Rose says as she tosses the black stone to the contractor. The contractor disposes of it like he normally does. Rose continues, "Unlike our mutual benefactor here, I understand your love of combat and bloodlust. I feel it too. The difference is that I control it. I can teach you to control it or rather channel it into something useful. I honestly avoid combat because the fact I enjoy the thrill of near death scary. I do not want to die and if I lost control of my excitement in battle, I could die. In fact, that primal was almost able to kill me because I got carried away." Rose wipes away the blood from her shoulder. It is completely healed by now. Rose pulls her blue soul gem out. It was attached to a silver necklace. She says, "If that Primordial had struck a little more center, you would have seen me die." Rose puts her soul gem back away.

Rose held her hand out to her side and water carried her discarded Urumi back to her. She coiled the blade around her waist like a belt. Its handle stuck by her side like a normal sword would. She then extended a hand out to Elise to help her stand and in a sign of peace. She says, "Elise, I would be honored to be your partner. Regardless of how temporarily a alliance might be. I might look younger than the others by I am the oldest. Akame, still beats me in time as a magical girl though. If you do work with me, there is something you should know. My name is not Rea. I am known as Rea. Slight difference, most do not catch it. My name is Rose Elizabeth Andrews. So I shortened it to Rea. You can still call me Rea, in fact, I prefer it. Not a lot of people know my true name. I only trust a few people in this world. I can count them on one hand." With the hand not extended, Rose holds up two fingers to signify how many people she trusts. "I hope I can add you to the count. WHat do you say? You did lose your match. Allow me to bring you up to our level?"

The Primordial came at Rose again. It was at this moment Rose realized that she was fighting a dim witted opponent. Any straight attack would fail in any infinite number of ways. Rose raised her hand and took control of the water that was covering Primordial. The Primordial's charge came to a slow stop as Rose restricted the movement using what water there. The Primordial growled angerly and continued to try to move. Rose drew her Urumi sword. Its four whip like steel blades flopped lazily on the ground. Like a whip, Rose lashed out at the Primordial. The blades cut deep into the flesh. Using the pain to increase its strength, the Primordial broke out. In Primal rage, it charged opening wide its scissors trying chop off Rose's beautiful head at the neck. In a fluid motion like the water she used, Rose ducked and spun. The Urumi's blades wrapped around the Primordial's body like a whip tearing into the flesh of the back. Finishing her spin, Rose conjured as much water she could with her left hand. The water took the appearance of a serpent as it twirled and crashed down onto the Primordial.

The Primordial was knocked flat by the water. Rose took the opportunity to use the remaining water to cuff the Primordial to the ground. It barked in anger and tried desperately to get up. Rose stood above the subdued Primordial and glared down angerly at the beast. She was clearly above this one. She whipped her Urumi at the Primordial several times. Each strike took off flesh until the beating heart was exposed. In pain and rage, the Primordial managed to tear its arm up to strike. The ground the water tied the Primordial hand to came with it. The Primordial's scissors struck Rose's left shoulder. Inflicting the same kind of wound, Rose first inflicted on the Primordial with the wall of spears. Rose's blood flowed down the scissor's closed blade. Rose smiled darkly, "I underestimated you. Should have struck closer to center. I did not think your weapon was a piercing weapon. Your mistake." With a flick of Rose's left hand, a blade of water sliced through the Primordial's arm severing it just distal the elbow. Rose tossed her beloved Urumi aside and grabbed the oversized scissor. Removing the Primordial's severed hand, Rose plunged the scissors into the Primodial's exposed heart. She stabbed it multiple times, "This is why you do not run with scissors!"" Rose opened the scissors and closed them again around the Primordial's neck. Beheading the beast's head. The Primordial and the scissors dissolved into dust like when Primordial's normal do when defeated. Only the black stone that Primordial's form around remained. Rose claimed it as her Prize before wandering back to check on Elise. Rose's shoulder wound was still bleeding but her regeneration ability was starting to kick in. "Sorry, Contractor, That was a bit excessive of me. It has been a long day. Even for me. Almost lost my temper." Rose said as she returned.
Do you guys know that sensation when you realize that the person you thought that you was speaking to might actually be a wall? I'm feeling it right now, and it ain't so good.

Hey, Walls are cool people. I get the best conversations come out of them. You should try it more often.
Rose knelt next to Elise. She sat back on her heels and looked over her dress. She hoped blood would wash out of magical attire. Come to think of it. Rose never had thought of washing her magical girl outfit. It was always clean when she transformed. Did the Contractor do it in his off time or something. The sight of the blood did not unnerve Rose one bit. The red blood however did clash with the dark blue of her dress. Rose place her hand gently on Elise's shoulder, "Just lay still. There is no need to exert yourself. Just breath."

Rose watched Akame and the others move out after the Primordial. The Contractor chose to stay. Several questions ran through Rose's head at once. It was not often that Rose and the Contractor had one on one time. Only when needed did the Contractor come calling. Why did he stay? Was it to make sure Rose did not kill Elise? Rose only silenced her thoughts by asking the adorable critter, "So, Sir Contractor, What is your reason for staying here with us?"

Unfortunately, that was all Rose was able to ask. Without warning, a primordial came charging across the roof towards Rose. Rose put her hand on the rainwater on the roof. The water leaped at her command becoming a wall of spears to stop the primordial's charge. One of the spear's penetrated the primordial girl's shoulder before it leaped back. "Shame," Rose said without emotion, "I was hoping you would just impale yourself and save me the trouble... Very well." Rose climbed to her feet. The wall of spears dissolved back into liquid water and Rose began to pull all the water around towards herself. She took up a defensive stance between the Primordial and Elise. The Water pooled around Rose. It was about as deep as her ankles at the moment. Rose had plenty of fire power (water power) and she could easily protect Elise. But any offense would have to be decisive. If Rose attacked the Primordial might get around her and kill Elise. Rose's head was spinning trying to figure out the best way out of the current situation. How could a Primordial get so close to a gathering of Magical girls and not be noticed. Maybe it was noticed but it was detected at the same moment as the other one.

Rose raised her hand and with it water came. She extended her hand with force and several water projectiles flew at the Primordial. The Primordial made a laughing sound and deflected the shots with its over-sized scissors. The Primordial charged again but Rose pushed it back with a wave of water.

Looks to me, that the holy grail still needs two more masters and the heros to fill the Saber and Caster slots. Am I wrong in this observation? I am getting eager to play my assassin.
Rose watched to fight. She made extensive metal notes on Elise and Akame. The two were similar in some ways, but Akame at least knew how to maintain control. As for fighting styles, Rose was pleasantly surprised to see that Elise's sword divided into two. It seemed like an effective strategy. You lose the mass behind the strike when they are separated but you gain the advantage of versatility of dual wielding. Impressive tactic but Rose knew Akame was too good for it. Teleport! Elise had the ability to teleport. That was a surprise to Rose. Teleporting is a fantastically tool to use in combat. As long as it was used with intelligence. Akame wasn't even fully transformed and she was still parrying Elise. When Elise began to lose control of her bloodlust, Akame answered by a drought spell. Funny, Akame developed that drought spell to handle Rose originally. It was a perfect counter for a fire user to use against the superior art of water. A little tame by Akame's standards and unusual for this fight. The drought was enough clearly to force Elise to collapse. No matter how good one is or how much drive they have, it is hard to deny the physical limits of the body.

Elise was out cold. No surprise. Rose wished that Akame did not force Elise to overheat like that. Once a person's body failed to regulate its internal temperature even once, the body has a harder time preventing it a second time. Rose knelt down next to Elise. Immediately, Rose began to work her magic. Using cold water to lower Elise's body temperature. Using water magic, Rose healed up Elise putting her in good health once more. Rose looked up at Akame, "Akame, please go take down that primordial. I will guard Elise until she wakes up. There are still plenty of other magical girls that can aid you this time. If Elise or I come under attack, the rain will aid me in a defense."

Rose pushed the tea pot away from her. She had been hogging it and yes, she knew it was polite to share with the girls. She might have had more if she had not been noticed. Rose finished the tea left in her cup then stood up. It was time to go watch the fight between Akame and Elise. Rose nodded in acknowledged the comment and apology Emiri said to her. However, Rose did not grace it with a verbal answer. Rose did not like to be known by many. She acted the cold hearted outside observer. Emiri had seen right through her act. Rose trusted Emiri as much as she did Akame. Emiri's words meant something to her.

Rose began to head up stairs to watch the fight when she realized neither of the girls who broke the barrier were tracking what was going on. She stop and smiled politely, "Miss Chiyo and Miss Nanako, since you two came late, I feel obligated to inform you of what is happening. I will not insult your intellegence by explaining that our enemy are the Primordials. However, new evidence has surfaced suggesting that a nest of the primordials might exist and that one might be here in Miko City. We are going to have to use all the magical girls we can get to locate then eliminate the nest or else stronger and stronger Primordials will spawn with greater frequency. Akame, Emiri, and myself are already an effective team. We have been protecting this city for years now together. We would appreciate if you both would help us. We will train you... train might be the wrong word. We will take you under our wings and get you ready for the coming fight. If you do not want our 'training', for lack of a better word, then you can refuse. However, we need to be confident in your abilities. That means you must fight Akame and win. Clear?" Rose still smiled. She wondered to herself if she was clear and understood by the two. Also, it might be noticed that she did not introduce herself to the two girls despite using their names. Rose walked passed the two and went outside into the rain to watch the fight.

Rose drank the rest of her tea and began to pour yet another glass while everyone said their piece. She did not feel a need to reply when Elise laughed at her advice. She rose her refilled cup to her lips and peered out over the rim at the others. She observed everything. Rose listened to every word, noted every movement of the girls, even the way their hair fell as they spoke. She could almost taste Elise's war lust over the taste of her tea. Elise did not seem to like anyone. No doubt, Elise only valued strength. Only being defeated would or could Elise be humbled. Her powers were still unknown to Rose.

Scanning over to the other magical girl, Miyako, Rose made some tactical observations. Clearly there was a strong superiority complex in Miyako but it was different than that in Elise. Elise valued only strength and clearly might makes right. However, Miyako seemed to believe her superiority to be almost a godsend. Any evidence against it would be ignored like a jogger ignored an ant. Maybe not, but she did have the support of the contractor. Which could mean one thing, that Miyako made a wish having to do with superiority or being superior. Her words suggested something to that effect that her superiority was fact and the contractor doesn't lie except through omitting. Miyako would be an interesting girl to work with.

Without warning, two new girls enter the room. Straight through the magical barrier meant to keep outsiders well... outside. Doubtful that it happened by random luck. Rose finished her tea and began to pour another glass. No doubt one of the girls would think she was hogging all the tea for herself. Anyways, Rose took note and instintually began to read any information given off by the girls. Both new girls were clearly magical. Passing the barrier left only that conclusion. One girl looked very young, but that itself was not surprising. Rose herself had not aged a minute since entering into the contract. The other seemed oddly confident. Not hostile, but that is not the same as not being well... not hostile. Rose sipped her tea and just watched.
