Yeah that was a poor word choice on my part. Writers writing about writers write a little of themselves, that's just a general principle of association. It's not 'autobiographical,' but..... think of like, taking a picture from behind a pane of glass, and you can see a little bit of photographer in the final image. That doesn't mean the photographer is an eiffel tower, or whatever. Dunno. Maybe I'm not improving my description here.... Maybe when I write about writers writing about writers, I'm actually writing about myself writing about writers, and not writers in general.
