Current The moment you realize you spend more time working in titanpads than... anything else. Not sure if I should be proud or concerned.

Bio

My current baby

Spells in the Dark (18+ For dark and suggestive themes: Join the witches or the hunters and they circle each other in a bleak world on the edge of annhilation. Can they come together long enough to hold back the great dark? Or will they fall to the void?

Stuff I'm in

Wolves of Redlake: A lovely little romp as a teenage werewolf. Run by the lovely @Nallore
Various 1x1's: I love the flexibility of a two person story. Group RPs will always have my heart, but they can be difficult to get off the ground. Feel free to PM me with any ideas you may have. I generally post once per week minimum and like high-casual to advanced as far as quality is concerned.

The Rest!

Hi! I'm a twenty five year old lesbian with alot of time on her hands! I've been role playing for about ten years now, although I'm new to the play by post format. I'm a pathfinder and Chronicles of Darkness veteran and still play with my group most weekends.

I'm generally pretty easy to get along with. My biggest pet peeves are:

Not informing me if you'll be away for an extended period of time. A PM or something in the OOC will do nicely. I understand life kicks all of us once in awhile, but try not to leave me hanging.

Negative people. We all get down, and that's fine. Happiness, however, is an outlook. I don't mind spending time cheering up a friend when they're usually a cheerful person. Optimism is a hell of a thing folks.

Metagaming. For obvious reasons. This has been the downfall of many a fun 'secret' plot. I usually opt for transparency, and like to surprise characters more than players. Metagaming makes that difficult.

Things I'll love you for:

Enthusiasm! This is the driving force behind any RP. When players and the GM are excited magical things can happen.

Adding to the world. I like a fleshed out world. Often times I'll leave things ambiguous so players can add to it with backstory or anything really.

Hatching your own subplot. The 'main' plot isn't the only thing going on right? Write me a story about some characters getting into hijinks. It gives the RP an organic feel that can't really be replicated otherwise.

Lorelai watched Genoveve's face as the girl's expessions seemed to flit about from one to the other. Happiness when she looked at Laina, attempts to remain calm as she spoke, and nervousness otherwise. The joys of being young, she supposed, either way it was endearing. Suppressing the urge to giggle at the poor girl's apprehension, Lorelai retrieved a scrap of stationary from her table and handed it to Genoveve.

"What you do in your own time is, of course, your buisness Genoveve. That being said I'd like to offer my congratulations and best wishes." She favored the new couple with a small smile. "Now, I would like an amount of your time if you would. I need these things from the Glow Wood to renew the castle's many defensive enchantments. I would retrieve them myself, but I find myself drained as of late."

"Do be cautious while you're out though, fall is here, and with it an increase in hunter activity. Very few of them know of the Glow Wood, but if one of you was hurt while you were out it would pain me greatly."
@agentmanatee Quality > quantity. I like it.
@Rune_Alchemist I second this. Hours of digging through pictures because nothing's quite right, but that sweet satisfaction when you find the perfect portrait almost makes it worth it. Almost.
"Frivolus? Being well rested can be the difference between making it out alive, and almost making it out alive." She patted her bedroll affectionately. "While I can do with blankets and dry ground myself, that isn't always available. This ensures that no matter what I can sleep comfortably, whether in the cold desert night or in a thunderstorm."

"Not to mention the often understated morale factor." She grinned. "Happy adventurers are effective adventurers, and waking up dry and warm makes me happy, so therefore effective."
@Lucius Cypher Me too, I'm curious to see if Alyssa's unswerving optimism and inappropriate joke timing drives Malkai to maul her, or softens him up first.
@Lucius Cypher I love how one sided this 'friendship' is. =D "Malkai seems nice." "Alyssa's a stupid windbag." hehe
Alyssa looked over to Malkai. "It mimics endure elements for one, so I don't have to worry about temperature. For two the fabric is sealed against moisture, so I needn't worry about raid or dew. The third and probably my favorite is the subtle camouflage, which is useful for obvious reasons."

Alyssa grinned. "Add that to the mundane properties of being oversized so I can toss and turn as much as I'd like, and incredibly soft and that makes me a happy girl." It may have been silly, but she was proud of her bedroll. It meant that she'd never be uncomfortable while sleeping, and that meant the world to a former slave.

Getting up she retrieved the article from her lean to. "You want to have a look?"

"So Laina and Genoveve are knocking boots huh?" Sousiel wriggled her eyebrows suggestively. "Do you think they let Saevire join in on the festivities?"

"Shut up Sousiel, the specifics of their passion are hardly my buisness, or of any interest to me." She gave her familiar a glare. "Nor is it any of yours."

"Sure it is! If they let Saevir join then I'm well within my rights according to familiar union rules to join you!" Sousial grinned Lasciviously.

"Not going to happen you lech." Lorelai gave her a look of warning. "You may not look it, but you're still a demon."

"So I am mistress, so I am." She grinned. "Maybe I'll go over your head to Vespa?"

Lorelai arched an eyebrow. "Do it and die Sousiel."

Sousiel was formulating another witty response when they noticed Genoveve and Laina approaching. Lorelai closed the book the had been attempting to read and gestured to the seats across from her. Sousiel returned to her cat shape and took up perch on Lorelai's lap.

"Have a seat ladies, please. I have a request for the two of you."

Note to Lorelai, improve the sound proofing on the sleeping quarters. So Genoveve and Laina huh? Strangeness calls to strangeness she supposed. She was a little surprised to hear Laina on the other side of the door though, Lorelai had thought it would take a bit more time for the witch to figure out emotions. Love was the most dangerous of them, capable of lifting a lowly witch to great heights, and laying a great witch low.

Were this magical research she would have chided the young witch, however, in this she could only be concerned from afar. She would also hope for the best of course. Those two deserved happiness, and with the wind blowing the way it was now was a good time to grab it up.

She quickly penned a note on her stationary and slid it under the door. It read: "Genoveve and Laina. If you would, at your earliest convenience, come and see me. There's a matter I would like to discuss with the both of you.". She smiled mischeviously at the note. Lorelai was sure Genoveve at least would jump to the worst conclusion she could. Maybe it was a little mean, but tormenting the younger witches at least a little was part of her job description.

She headed back to the common room to continue reading. New love blossoming was a beautiful thing. Lorelai's thoughts turned to Vespa.
