Alright, any judge who wants it can watch over me and IN's fight. I think Innue is busy so I guess I'll petition Rilla and Skallagrim for it, whichever of you is more interested.

Battlefield

Name: Sandtides

Size: 1 mile by 1 mile (most won't be used)

Properties:

* The various smaller sand islands scattered about the bay sink downward very easily if treaded upon by anything larger than a rodent, being incredibly unstable. Within four back and forth posts of moderate combat scenarios, half of the island will be submerged to cause water to go up to the ankles or deeper depending on how far at the edge you are. After eight posts only a small portion of the island will have ankle deep water, the rest completely submerged and reforming a bit away into another island as they drift in gentle tides. If the players agree then it can be raining, speeding up the process of islands vanishing by two times.

* Multiple small brown and reddish brown crabs skitter around the sand, burrowing and shifting it around for some mysterious purpose. Most are the size of mice but some seen around can become as large as cats. They're mostly very cautious so will scurry away when you get too close. They only attack if you provoke them or in a very vulnerable state, in which case they all swarm in, grabbing on and trying to drag the person down into the sandy depths. If both players agree then the crabs will be much more aggressive all the way down to not taking any aggressive action at all.

* The water is calm enough where it's only gently flowing around, carrying you to another of the sand islands. It's 400 feet deep at the deepest but the amount varies depending on the level of sand around.

Player Capacity: Duel on a single island with two people or multiple people spreading across the islands is recommended.

Description: A large number if islands made out of sand is scattered around the bay, always shifting around as sand leaves some islands and builds up into another. Most are around 80 feet long but the actual shapes and sizes can vary wildly.

The largest island in the middle is made out of rock, grass, plants, and tropical trees so never goes under half a mile long by a quarter of a mile wide. Sand can build up on the outskirts to increase it's size. There's a crater near the middle that's 800 feet across. The edges are rocky and steep so would take a decent amount of effort to climb back out if you fall in, which could badly hurt normal people due to being 40 feet deep, luckily not being at a 90 degree angle so could have some rolling down to help keep the damage down, if only a little.

The water is crystal clear and beautiful near the surface but due to the large amounts of sand swirling below it quickly gets murky down lower.

Flavour Text: The sand tides are famous for shipwrecking many ships long ago due to the constant shifting, although the wreckage has been cleaned up both by workers and the crabs, who mysteriously drag objects down below the sand if they're left unattended. Rumor has it, which is very likely, that the skeletons missing from the wrecks are still underneath the sand. Although the crabs aren't known to be incredibly aggressive, the creepy nature of these rumors and some instances of people disappearing is enough to stop most tourism to the Sandtides.

In the battleground thread.

Here's one I just made for the Evvie vs. Anna fight if you like it, MelonHead.

Yeah I like the battlefield, would you like me to set up a thread or are you happy to do it?
I'm probably gonna create a small character deposit of my Arena characters. Though, I have qualms with having my shit in a public place. A guy ripped off one of my characters literally right in front of my eyes on this website, that's why I'm so hesitant about it.

It's weird, but I honestly would not care if someone did that, I'd probably just find it funny.

Luckily Evvie wouldn't be dumb enough to try to punch water to death so the battle should be up to the clashes of fire against water, which I assume will be like in anime where they hit each other and can force each other back and stuff. It can be explained that the spiritual nature of the attacks is what allow the two forces to collide in such a way.

I think the battle might depend on the battleground as you mentioned. Evvie can't swim and also gives your character a huge powerup anyways so that would be double doom for her. Maybe a series of small patches of beach with one big patch in the middle would be a fair environment. Some of the islands sink into the water over time but she can fly so that doesn't matter. Maybe in the center island is a rocky crater that if you're dragged into it's hard to get out of. As a random fact there are a ton of little crabs skittering about.

If you're happy to fight in that kind of arena then feel free to set up the thread and describe it.

All the way down to the crabs...

the real villains.

If you need a set-up for story line reasons feel free to have Evvie checking out local rumours of a monster killing fishermen or something.
Havardr was certainly not displeased to see the man return unarmed, though he had wondered if his courage would fail him at what could possibly be the most important moment on his journey to date. He paused and stared deeply at the man as he asked his questions, interesting ones at that, though not what the King would have asked.

“What abilities will you gain?” The King repeated with a throaty chuckle. “I suspect the mountain will teach you her lessons, that the cold is to be weathered and endured and that to stand tall and unshakable is but a matter of perspective. I’m sure you will understand, should you succeed.” Havardr considered the second question, probably the more important at this moment.

“As you may have guessed, this challenge is not like many you have faced. You were supposed to come here now, this is the beginning of the rest of your journey, and as a result you have to be tested… without the powers you have borrowed thus far. If you are worthy, it shall all be returned to you, and with far more.” He shuffled his feet somewhat and bowed slightly.

“Now, the challenge is thus, we will venture you and me to the top of the world, the summit of this mountain, without attacking one another. If you reach the peak alive I will show you the route through the mountain… but to claim my secrets, what you call a ‘Key’ you must reach the summit before me.” The Mountain Goat then strangely began to walk down the mountain towards Kei’taro.

“You should hurry.” He laughed throatily, showing his confidence by providing the challenger with a clear head-start.
Well, I could always give you another character to kill, but fire manipulation vs water manipulation is a good setup even if logically the fire would be put out easily.

Yeah, I thought the fight would be interesting at least, and Evvie does have the tools to kill Anna.

W.I.P
Well, I'll challenge Evvie with Anna.

Though I hate to be fighting Evvie again, I'm probably going to feel terrible if I have to kill her for a third time.

I'm going to find every Arena Battleground that's outside I can possibly find and put them in a number generator, because the battleground is very important to Anna and I don't want to just pick an Arena where I'll have a huge advantage.

Alternatively we could just have a judge choose one at random, to be ever fairer.
