Though Caspus was certainly capable and likely to grab hold of the spear, he certainly wasn’t stopping its gruesome path through the muscle and flesh of his thigh. When the spear-head pierced his body the point would burst out the other side of his leg, and even if he managed to maintain the mental discipline to grab the spear while feeling such pain his next course of action would be rendered unlikely, if not impossible, by his wounded leg which he would need to support his kick.

With Brennus firmly obtaining the upper-hand, and his opponent almost definitely pierced and debilitated by a spear point through his leg, the Iceni would happily relinquish his spear as it had served its purpose. Unfastening the sheath at his waist he would then draw the Celtic Longsword he held in reserve with a leathery rasp, and prepare to finish off his debilitated opponent.
Well, I guess you were busy or something.
Also, how fast is your character exactly? I was under the impression he'd just be tanking out my character's attacks, if he can easily avoid the fastest weapon Higan's mech actually has then I don't really see how this fight is balanced.

200 feet might seem like a long way, but that rifle round is covering that distance in less than a tenth of a second.
That doesn't surprise me, though I'm sure they cheated and threw them off bridges and the like.
It means that I'm not metagaming - simple.

Touho is pretty much a counter to everything Jok does. It is unfortunate for Melon, yes, but that is how the dice were rolled and that's just how it is.

It's interesting you say Jok, when you mean every character in this tournament.

As far as I can tell, none of the melee centric characters can fly, essentially rendering you immune to all but ranged characters, which you also have an invulnerable shield for.

He didn't bother answering that part, if anything his response just confirms that his character is too powerful for this tournament.
My advice, go pick a fight with the scariest person you can find, and ask them to pick out any mistakes. You'll be up to scratch on how the Arena works in no time.

(This is provided you're new to Arena style combat)

Otherwise, welcome.
It's interesting that you cite an aversion to meta-gaming on the one hand and on the other have your character charge up like a battery from the very beginning of the fight with not a single piece of evidence as of yet that anyone is even on the island with you.
You really need to start using specifics, I could exploit everything in your post at the moment. You haven't stated when you threw the Chakram for example, 100 feet? 150 feet? When?
I'll make a post tonight or tomorrow morning, just bought the full Fifth Edition of D&D and I'm reading the books.

Heh, my friends are making me read DM guide atm.
