Hmm, I was going to give this tournament a miss because I'd participated in the last two, but the concept is just too interesting (and particularly up my street) to ignore. I'll tentatively express interest as it seems like there's more than enough space for everyone who wants in to participate.

How do you plan on taking character submissions? Via PM for secrecy or out in the open in OOC?
Not sure I understand this warring concept though, Seed threw out a challenge to the Arena and instead an outside clan took up the gauntlet? So essentially we're all sitting around with our popcorn watching some other people take care of the invaders for us.

You know, that suits us perfectly, it's how the Clockwork Man would have dealt with it, and he's the closest I have to a 'main.'
Hmm, the Arena sure got interesting all of a sudden, might have to watch some of these fights.

@LeeRoy yeah I made the connection immediately when you mentioned bringing him in a few posts back and saying you were 'going to do it slowly' which coincided with what you said about the Fragment of Wrath.

Out of curiosity, where are you and your guys from @Seed? I could never really be bothered to look but I was wondering if there were more people like Skallagrim out there that I need to endeavour to slay. They say the only way to get better at chess is to find people better than yourself.
Honestly I would, I am being asked to take part in the invasion as well. As an old man, hardly able to type I realize I cannot do it all.

These old bones shake over dusty keys, but the mind remembers what it once was to touch type at one hundred words per minute.
Hey @LeeRoy before you get to engrossed in cataclysmic battle could I get another post from your Lizard Rhino that Aegis is hunting? My internet is so shit at the moment all I can really do is spend five minutes loading up this site and writing posts.

I think I'm getting 200kbps out of my average 14mbps.

Well, I could always do what I'm supposed to, but fuck that.
Fury went from a slowly recovering hover to a sudden burst of forward momentum leading into direct horizontal flight in a matter of moments. The Unbridled state left him with little in the way of mental faculties, diverting all possible energy and power to maintaining his body’s immediately bolstered durability and manipulation capabilities. The second skin forming around him was dense and clearly visible even at distance, pulsing periodically with the depleted but still significant reservoir from the World Machine on his back. Fury had been injured and had utilized more energy than was safe for him in a single confrontation, and yet he was still stronger than he had ever been before. Partly fed by the perversion of Kanitah’s World Machine, but predominantly by the burning rage directed at his skeletal foe, the Fireen warrior could not fathom any danger to his person in the pursuit of his vengeance. There was only Fury, and the power and responsibility that came with it.

As he flew towards the Dreamer he too rose into the air, clearly gathering power in his sword in preparation for some great blow directed at either him or the fleet above. Fury took only the precaution of rapidly increasing his altitude and decreasing it, along with zig-zagging unpredictably through the air with no discernible pattern. He was flying at a break-neck two hundred miles per hour, and the thoughtless expulsion of energy saw his evasive manoeuvres earn themselves a respectability of sorts. To the naked eye he would be an exceedingly difficult target, rapidly darting from one spot to another, unconsciously strafing his enemy rather than flying directly at him. If the Void had not been subtly manipulating its puppet, Fury would have simply flown straight at Skallagrim and damned the consequences. However, the Void allowed him some part of his once fairly competent mind.

As he cleared the distance two burning discs of energy formed, one in either hand, mimicking his earlier assault. Having drawn Skallagrim out of his defensive position, Fury was finally able to effectively utilize his most flexible weapon, one which he hoped would see his foe destroyed. Leaking energy that formed his outer shield and swiftly crafting two iridescent crescents of force that could easily shear through metal, Fury erratically closed on his hated enemy, drawing nearer with each second.
What a majestic creature.

You know, you are starting to sound like you're shitting on everyone's hobby here Doc, if you can't see why that would annoy people maybe you need to take a few minutes for some introspection. I had no problem with the original post, but if this isn't supposed to be condescending you have worse issues with passive-aggression then me.

'That almost sounds like this make believe stuff could be serious business and that I should be ashamed for not thinking so.'

@Seed Double post. Also, it don't actually matter to me who you use. I'm just excited to let my great beast free.

Teehee.
Also, I know I've been dramatic, but I want to spice things up and hype what my students and I are doing. It'd be nice to have more people like LeeRoy getting into it.

Ya'll should lighten up.

Don't tell me what to do, it's my divine right as an Englishman to respond to all threats with cynicism and a healthy dose of sarcasm.
Yes, I clocked the I am Groot reference myself, didn't stop me though, not a chance.
