Am I right in thinking that a full sheet of Corban's powers was not sent to a judge -before- the fight began?

Oh, one other thing, what leg is Gigue grabbing? He seems to be relying on touch which is to his benefit, if he dived with the intent of seizing the left leg because it was up front he'd probably have ran into trouble when Sigurd advanced, but it's never actually specified which leg Gigue grabs as far as I can tell.
@MelonHead Entirely reasonable. Though i'd say it'd probably hit the rear (right) shoulder, since i imagine Gigue would try and lean slightly to the left if he sees the axe hurtling straight towards his head.
Depends how much he trusts in his mask I suppose, though human reflex would dictate he'd try and move to avoid it so fair enough.
Hmm, I understand the sentiment but I'm not entirely sure Gigue could dive under the axe-throw. If he mistimed his leap it's unlikely Sigurd would still be throwing into thin-air, so he must have waited until the axe left Sigurd's hand (which gave him what, half a second?) To clear his pretty large body out the way of an axe-throw aimed at his centre, so not particularly high on his body either. If Sigurd had just been stepping forward and drawing his sword he'd be more than a little fucked, but the axe-throw to my mind would still pose a significant threat to Gigue even if he did leap forward into a dive.
I'll have another few reads before I reserve any judgement, but I'm not entirely sure the axe-throw would be nullified.
Not saying the axe-throw would change very much, by all accounts it would probably bounce hilt-first off his mask if he dived forward straight into it, but I can't see it flying over-head considering the range and whatnot. As Sigurd aimed dead-centre for this exact sort of reason (not going to pretend I or he guessed Gigue would dive towards him, but he certainly expected some form of evasion) the axe would be probably hurtling towards his lower abdomen, about three and a half feet up his body at any rate, which would leave Gigue having to clear half his body in the time it took the axe to reach him, no easy feat.
What's your take on my reservations?

I remember seeing a pokemon battle pretty early on in Arena, pretty cool idea actually.

It was pretty obvious Sigurd always intended to step forward again on his right foot while seemingly retreating, hence the end of my last post. Ironically it's exactly what I critiqued earlier (passing footwork) but the difference is that Sigurd has an axe throw and the element of surprise on his side, nothing would indicate he would suddenly take the fight to his larger opponent.
Still, I'm rooting for you anyway, so prove me wrong.
