Name: Caleb (no last name)
Alias: Occasionally goes by Creature when sidekicking for Eli.
Age: 22
Gender: Male

Personality: Caleb is very canine in his personality. He's friendly to the people he knows and trusts, and standoffish to newcomers. He's protective of his family, almost jealously so, and doesn't mind shedding blood when it comes to their safety. His morals are a bit screwed up. In his mind, anything that helps his family, and not necessarily everyone else, is okay. If that means stealing from other people, then so be it. Luckily, Eli keeps him in line. Caleb also has slightly lower than human intelligence. He can solve simple problems and do simple tasks, but when things get too complicated, he's out.

Skills: Tracking; has a very good sense of smell. He's good in a fight, but he doesn't play fair. Will bite and scratch.

Abilities: He's got enhanced strength, pain tolerance, speed, and hearing.

Equipment: None

Appearance: Standing at 5'5", Caleb's size isn't very intimidating. His other features, on the otherhand, make up for it. Caleb is covered in a layer of thin, brown fur. It's surprisingly soft to the touch, if kept clean. His eyes are bright yellow and glow if a light is shined in them. On each finger and toe, he has a sharp, curved claw. Each tooth ends in a point, with four prominent canine teeth. Caleb's ears are slightly movable, and end in a point. He has a doglike, hairless tail that is completely functional.

Brief Backstory:

Essentially the same as Eli's. Was created and raised in a lab, lived most of his life in a cage, wasn't really socialized. Less effort was put into his education than Eli's, leading to learning disabilities.
Also, could i suggest a weakness field be added to the cs? Usually a good idea for a hero rp.
Im think about making bios for caleb and elsa. They may act as sidekicks to eli at some point.

Name: Elijah 'Eli' (no last name)
Alias: Archangel
Age: 26
Gender: Male

Personality: Eli is best known for his bleeding heart of gold. He can't turn away someone who needs his help; he just can't. Even if it takes all of what little he has to help this person out, he'll do whatever he needs to. Eli is a pretty intelligent guy, but can be kind of a doofus sometimes. He's often up beat, and tries to look on the bright side of things. He's patient with people, but honest as well. Eli will call people out on their mistakes, usually with the intent of helping them fix them.

Skills: Archery, hand to hand, knife throwing

Abilities: Eli is fully capable of flight, has enhanced eyesight, and advanced healing.

Equipment: His bow, arrows, and a few knives

Other: Eli is 75% deaf. He can read lips, but unless you are face to face with him or shouting in his ear, he won't be able to understand you. He can also speak sign language.

Appearance: Eli is 5'9" with shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. He usually has a good bit of facial hair. On his back, Eli has two large, feathered wings with brown dapples on the on side, and white down underneath. These wings are able to fold up nice and small against his back, allowing him to hide them when wearing a regular, loose fitted shirt.

Brief Backstory:

Eli was the product of mad scientist, Herman Schwartz. After being denied government funding for his experiments, Schwartz turned his home into your typical evil lair. To fund himself, he gathered henchmen to carry out crimes such as bank robbing and jewel theifing. And there, in that lab, the lines put in place by humanity and the law were crossed.

Schwartz took human DNA and mixed it with that of animals, creating all sorts of horrific beasts in an attempt to make super soldiers. He planned to sell his formula, once he perfected it, to the highest bidding country and then live out the rest of his day being filthy rich. However, most of his experiments failed. Over half of them never made it past the embryo phase, and the ones that did usually died in infancy. That said, a few of them did make it.

Eli, a human/bird hybrid, was one of those few. He was raised in the lab by Schwartz's henchmen, who were less than great parents. Most of his days were spent in a large dog kennel to prevent his escape. He was taught basic education, such as reading, writing, science, math, ect. But along with this, he was trained to fight and use weapons. In the long run, Eli was created to be a weapon.

It was during one of the scientist's experiments that Eli lost most of his hearing. He learned to communicate via sign language, teaching it to the other experiments when they were allowed to interact. Eli was probably one of the most successful things to come out of Schwartz's lab, but there were a few others that survived. Eli made friends with Caleb, a canine hybrid, Sammy, a lizard toddler, Elsa, a blue reptile girl, and Jabiko, a baby sized larva.

This group of ragtag freaks became more or less a family to Eli. They were strange, sure, but they were all each other had. It was only a few year ago that Eli and his friends were able to escape the clutches of Schwartz. They fled to the nearest big city, Greenfield, to hide amongst the crowds. The gang has made the streets their home. With most of them unable to go out into public due to their appearance, it became Eli's responsibility to bring home food and supplies. The whole 'hero' gig helped. People rewarded him for his actions, and those rewards were split up among the group.

(I'll be mostly playing Eli. The others are just a bunch of side characters to keep his story going)
Rhone looked up at the large, foreboding home in front of them. He had been owned by several masters who lived in such mansions, but he was rarely ever allowed inside. Much less given such free reign. He walked silently alongside Rosa until Lucien caught up, at which point Rosa threw herself at him. Rhone took notice of Lucien's company.

Was that...the female slave that had been chained next to him? He looked from Lucien to the poor, dirty girl. A feeling of disgust welled up inside him. It was clear what a slave girl such as she was intended for. He'd heard the slave master's sales pitch several times. She was a home keeper, a trophy, and a sex servant. And his new master had bought her. Rhone tried not to feel slightly betrayed; he'd known the man wasn't genuine all along. He was disgusting and evil, just like every other pale skinned man he had ever met. So why did it feel as though, for a few moments, he had been lied to?

With a frown set on his face, Rhone followed the company inside.

Again, I look to Feig for a reply to spark the story along! Maybe once the new slaves are settled indoors, maybe a collab would be in order with metronome? What say you, metro?

sure
I'll post again once Lucien has caught up with Rosa and Rhone
Eli watched as the others talked. He was very skilled at lip reading, but even still, he didn't know what they were talking about. He didn't think they knew what they were talking about, either. So he hung back from the crowd and looked down the valley at the flight pad. He noted two control towers, probably there to keep air traffic in check. A few ETs moved around the base like little ants. He could tell they were all armed, probably with high tech guns. Eli noticed as a pair approached the base, pausing for a second outside of it, as if waiting for a command, and then continuing onto the pad. Was there an invisible security system of some sort? It wouldn't surprise him; he's seen quite a bit of their technology since they'd arrived.

Eli turned when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Beau was a good leader, he decided. Eli tilted his head in thought at the man's question, then plopped down on the ground and grabbed a stick. He began to draw the base in the dirt.
"I think they have some kind of force field around the base," He said, drawing a circle around the base to illustrate this. "So running in and causing a scene probably isn't the best idea. I don't think we'll get far. But if we lure them out, then they would have to shut down the force field, and then we can get inside." He paused, looking around at the group and trying to remember what their powers were.

"We could put Alex here," He said, making a little dot off to the side of the top corner of the base, "He's got blasty fire powers, so he could get their attention by looking like a threat. When they come out to get him, Murry can get his back. When they shake the ETs, they can come back and rejoin us. And while they do that, we can go into the base and take the control towers. I think those are pretty important." He circled the towers, shown as sticks in the dirt. "I think Todd could help us at that point. If he can get inside one of those ships, he could probably use his powers to figure it out, right? And he can cover us from the air. And then you, me, Darren, and Daily can take the control towers and get that force field back up once everyone is inside, that way, the ETs can't get back in. Then we clear out whatever is left inside and it's ours."

He looked back up at Beau to see if he was following all this.
Rhone said nothing to the woman's insistence that he 'lightened up'. He wasn't a very light hearted person; never really was. And, despite her claims that his life was going to be so much better, his suspicious self found it hard to believe. He had been betrayed time and time again by people who claimed to be interested in his wellfair. He was a slave because 'it was better than being a street urchin'. He was beaten because 'it would do him good to learn a lesson'. He had to work day in and day out for no pay because he 'would be begging for food in the streets otherwise'. What these people considered good for him may or may not be actual good. Rhone supposed only time would tell.

While the girl and gnome bickered as if he weren't there, Rhone continued to walk silently. He felt the air slowly grow heavy with storm. Clouds gathered above and the smell of rain began to drench the air. He really didn't want to get rained on and sick.

As they walked, Rhone noticed Rosa grow tense. What was the matter with her? She looked around as if she thought someone would jump from the bushes and rob them. When she asked if she could get closer, Rhone only shrugged. What did he care? However, she got a lot closer to him than he expected. The girl practically pressed into him as they walked, making him feel a bit uncomfortable. He was beaten and sold by his last master for merely speaking to his daughter; what would Lucien do to him if he saw this?

When Rosa took his hand, Rhone had had enough. He pulled his hand back from her and replaced it by his side.
"I don't think you should do that," He said quietly, glancing around to see if anyone had noticed. Most people seemed to have headed inside by now. "You'll get me in trouble."

Huh, did someone ship Elric with someone? Did I really miss that?

Zinzie could whip up a gender potion

and it could allow Rhone to get pregnant

and then rhone and elric could have babies
