The girl saw him. She seemed scared, or maybe just shy, but she wasn't running away. The man slowly began to relax and ease down out of the tree. One furry paw-like foot came down and gingerly felt the ground beneath him before the rest followed. The stood in a sheepish manner, unsure of himself and obviously so.
"I'm Yoska," He said, not quite looking her in the eye. "I'm...sort of new." He'd been there a couple days, but he had yet to actually step foot inside the house. Or talk to anyone.

Yoska lifted a hairy hand to scratch the back of his head. "Sorry...If I scared you. I...will not mean to." His English wasn't really the best.
The creature had worn a bare spot on the forest floor with his pacing, still undecided. He had to do something. He couldn't just stay out here! But if he left the school, he left his only chance of survival behind. He couldn't go back to living on the streets; he just couldn't. He was in a strange country, in a strange body that he was pretty sure wasn't his own. After he had turned into this...thing, the poor man had yet to figure out how to change back. What if he was stuck like this forever?

He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard footsteps approaching. The smell of human blew through the wind, striking his sensitive nose. The man froze and looked off into the forest, searching for her. His golden eyes had a faint glow to them in the shadows. His instincts told him to run and hide, but his human curiosity got the better of him. The wolf man turned and bolted to the nearest tree, using his sharp claws to climb up the trunk and huddle among the leaves. He peered down as a young woman walked into view. She seemed to have known exactly where to find him, much to the man's confusion. He would have known if someone was watching him, wouldn't he? She called out to him, and for a moment, he considered not responding. But before he could stop himself, words slipped out of his mouth.

"Hello," He said softly from the branches, his accent thick. He hunkered down, ears flat, almost as startled by his own words as she may be. What if she saw him and ran away? He couldn't even blame her.
Aw ):

Your character was one of my favorites
The sun dripped through the thick trees as morning peeked over the city. In the shallow woods surrounding the mansion, something was lurking. The creature slunk low to the ground, crouched on all fours as he watched the home and its students intently. The timid creature had clearly been out in the weather for a couple days: mud covered his feet, his hair was a mess, and his clothes were torn and dirty. A small cut on his cheek, probably from a tree branch, had a little dried blood on it.

The canine-like creature, as frightening as he may have appeared, was rather shy. He was too scared to leave the shelter of the trees and greets his new caretakers, or captors, whatever they may be. Most of them seemed nice enough. Some had come filtering into the woods in search of him, leaving food out so that he wouldn't go hungry. With his new found sense of smell, the creature could sniff out the offerings quite easily. But still, one could only live in the dingy, dark forest for so long. He found himself wondering just how hospitable these people were. Would they let him inside? Could he have new clothes? Take a bath? Would they be afraid or him, or hurt him like the people on the farm had?

The wolf man began to pace around, watching the school as he went over his options. His almost hairless tail lashed around behind him as he thought. He could either stay here, safe, fed, and somewhat uncomfortable, or he could go over there, try to make friends, and maybe find himself a new home. He paused, then slowly began to emerge from the trees. He stood right at the treeline for a few moments, then whimpered and slunk back into the safety of the shade. He wanted to try and go to the house, but something just kept him from it. The last people who had offered him a home had been cruel to him. They treated as a slave, harassed him because of his heritage, and had sold his horse, which had really been the only friend he'd had. Why would these people be any different?

The furry man went back to pacing, torn between being brave and exploring, or being a coward and staying put.

Full Name: Yoska Petulengro
Mutant Alias: Creature
Age: 20
Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Yoska is a quiet young man. He's painfully shy and has very little self confidence. He's visibly nervous when approached, clearly afraid of people. Having been through a lot in past couple days, it can only be expected. Once he gets settled in, he should calm down. Not to be mistaken, Yoska is a sweet guy. His voice is quiet and reserved, and he tries his best to have good manners and to be kind.

Having grown up with no formal education, Yoska is almost completely illiterate. It's an embarrassing topic for him, as he would love to learn if ever given the chance. He speaks halfway decent English, but his strongest language is Romanian. With his thick accent, he can sometimes be hard to understand. However, he doesn't mind repeated his words for people.

Appearance: Yoska is about 5'10" with lean muscles and dark olive skin. His hair is curly and dark brown, usually messy and unkempt. His eyes are dark brown. He usually always has a little hair on his face. Yoska can always been seen with his necklace on. His clothes are dirty and old, with holes and patches worn to the threads. He's never stepped foot inside a house for anything other than to make repairs, and he wouldn't know what to do with indoor plumbing. Until Yoska can get used to his new home, he'd probably be more comfortable outside.

Likes & Dislikes:
+Animals
+Sunny days
+Working with his hands
-Crowds
-Loud people
-Doesn't like it when women cuss in public

Mutation:
He can shift into a canine-like creature. A werewolf, if you will. This gives him thin fur, fangs, claws, enhanced speed, strength, and durability. His is, however, completely incapable of controlling his shifting. He shifted a couple days ago and has been unable to shift back ever since.

Fears: He has awful social anxiety. Is afraid of people, rejection, and being hurt.

History:

Yoska was born to a Romani family that traveled around the world. They used horses and wagons to travel from place to place, selling handmade clothes and jewelry. From a young age, the horses had captured Yoska's attention. He had always loved animals.

When Yoska was 9, his family crossed the border into the wrong country. One where gypsy folk weren't tolerated. They were arrested and deported due to lack of passports and papers. Yoska, however, was left behind. Separated from his family with only a horse and a wagon to live from, Yoska barely got by. He became thin, sick, and was in constant fear of being hurt or robbed. He begged for money and food on the street, but rarely got sympathy. The people didn't have a very kind view of gypsies.

When he was 17, Yoska was found and taken in by a farmer and his wife, who had him work to earn food and a place to live. They took Yoska to their farm, miles from any city, and put him to work. Yoska did everything from make home repairs to work in the fields, all the while favoring the barn animals over farmhands. Although his life had improved from begging on the street, Yoska still lived in fear. The farmhands weren't too kind to him, often making him do the work that they were supposed to do, calling him a 'filthy, lazy gypsy' all the while. If he ever tried to defend himself, he would be beaten or scared into submission.

Yoska remained at the farm until a couple days ago, when his mutant powers finally manifested. After being slapped by one of the farm workers, Yoska grew angry and began to shift. Once it started, he couldn't stop. The worker, afraid of the wolfish creature Yoska had turned into, tried to get a gun to shoot him. Luckily, Yoska ran off before that happened. He ran from the farm and hid in the nearby woods until the team showed up to extract him. Yoska wasn't exactly willing, but they weren't planning on leaving him there.

With much convincing, and maybe a little manipulation via one of the team members, Yoska was coerced onto the plane and taken back to the mansion. Once let loose, he promptly ran off into the trees surrounding the house and has been lurking around since. After searching for him for a few hours, they decided to just let him be and hope he comes out on his own.
Interested
I plan on making my own character.
I'm starting to hit the dreaded bar where I begin to lose interest in the RP.
I see you like superheroes.

I, too, like superheroes.

Would you like to superhero?
