I may have to drop this ): I just got a new work schedule and it's slowly killing me.
2 Days prior

His stay in the hospital hadn't been a pleasant one. Not only was he now thousands of dollars in dept, but he'd been missing from the world for about a week. Bolin was sure he would go mad. He sat slumped in the wheelchair as the staff guy wheeled him out to the lobby. They had been amazed at how fast he'd healed. After all, a few nights ago, he'd been admitted to the ICU. Now all that remained was a small bandage on his neck and his right ribs. They had offered to let him stay a few more nights, but Bolin insisted on leaving before they charged him another ten grand.

The man in blue scrubs pushed his chair out onto the sidewalk and looked around. "Are we waiting for someone to pick you up?" He asked.

"No, this is good," Bolin said glumly. He wasn't usually so down, but given the events of last week, one could allow it. Bolin stood up from the chair and shoved his hands in his pockets as he shuffled down the street. His head hung as he kicked at pebbles in his path. It was about an hour long walk to his apartment complex, and all Bolin wanted to do when he got there was lay down.

He slunk in the door and slammed it behind him before flopping down on his old couch. He stared up at the ceiling for a while before he got up again. Might as well start packing his things; he wouldn't be able to afford this dump anymore. As Bolin grabbed a box and started shoving things in it, an envelope on the floor caught his eye. It was right inside his mail slot, waiting innocently for him to get home.

Bolin groaned internally and made his way over to pick it up. What was it this time? He opened the letter and scanned over it, then crumpled it up in his hands. Not again.

Present

Bolin didn't know why he was here. He'd told himself several times that day that he wouldn't come. He didn't want anything to do with superheroes anymore; his dreams had thoroughly been crushed. He would just deal with the Clan like Shi had said, and leave the hero-ing to the experienced type. But come the night of the meeting, his feet had lead him here.

Bolin looked around the bunker, clearly impressed. His eyes wandered over Batman, who sent chills down his spine, and Wildcat, who he wasn't really familiar with. Finally, he spotted the suits. His was fairly easy to pick out; the logo on the front was of a guardian lion, like Shishi. The colors were bright and quality was far better than his old, hand made getup. Bolin walked over to it and ran a hand over the fabric, still in a sort of daze. The funk he'd been in all week was slowly fading, but now he just felt kind of numb. Like this was all a dream and it couldn't be real.

His attention was caught by a nasty comment made by one of his 'teammates' towards another. A catfight sounded like it could ensue. Bolin clenched his jaw, then opened his mouth to stick his nose where it didn't belong.

"Hey," He said, his tone surprisingly serious for once, "We've all had a rough week. Could we maybe try to make this less painful than it already is?"
The Rat King is the villain in the Nutcracker ballet.

Secret ID: Bolin Lài
Alias: Foo Dog
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Home city: Gotham

Personality: Bolin is a smart-ass, make jokes on the fly, quick banter kind of superhero. When all else fails, at least he can joke about it. He does, however, know when to get serious. Bolin's other half, Shíshī, isn't so pleasant. Shíshī is a serious mannered spirit.

Abilities: Bolin is at the height of human ability. He's fast, strong, agile, and durable. It also helps to be possessed by a Chinese guardian spirit. The spirit, Shíshī, allows Bolin to call upon brief moments of super strength and durability in a pinch, but the use of this strength quickly drains him.

As a final resort, Bolin can allow Shíshī to come forth, transforming him into a very large, very strong creature, often referred to as a Foo Dog. He can remain in this form indefinitely, until Shíshī relinquishes control and lets Bolin take his body back.

Weakness: Burning sage in his vicinity will keep him trapped in one form. It doesn't matter which one; he'll won't be able to transformed until the sage is taken away.
Bolin's brash and frankly idiotic 'plans' of blowing into battle, guns blazing, has gotten him into trouble more than once. Strategy is not his forte. He's still young, fairly inexperienced, and without Shíshī, with whom he's constantly at ends with, he probably wouldn't have made it this far.

Appearance: Bolin fights with several forms of martial arts, so his costume must be comfortable. He wears yellow, red, and black, colors that resemble the form of Shíshī, his Foo dog. His weapon of choice is a pair of kamas.

Without his costume on, Bolin is just your average guy. He's about 5'10", has black hair, brown eyes, and is of Chinese descent.

History: One has to wonder how a young man comes to be possessed by a giant lion spirit. Bolin was just a baby when he was taken from his home, in a small village in China, by a cult of demon worshipers called The Sha Wujing clan, or just "The Clan". The Hand planned to train Bolin and eventually summon a demon to possess his body so that he could aid them in their dark deeds.

Bolin was raised by the villains, brainwashed by their ideals. They told him that he would be something great someday, but for the most part, Bolin raised himself. The Clan taught him basic education, but never bothered to train or discipline him. When it came time to have his body taken over, The Clan opened a portal to the spirit world to allow the demon to travel through. However, unknown to them a different spirit had been watching their actions, waiting to stop them. Shíshī came through instead, taking over Bolin's body and using his strength to destroy the Clan. When the villains had retreated back to their hidey holes, Shíshī gave Bolin control again. Shíshī was unable to return back to the spirit world now, forever bonded with Bolin. It took years for the two to find a way to get along. Bolin wasn't used to authority, and Shíshī was rife with it.

Bolin can still often be seen bickering with Shíshī, earning odd looks as it appears that he is speaking to himself.

Bolin is still searching for the remaining Clan members. They are all but extinct in China now, but a few branches remain in the United States. This is what brought Bolin over seas to fight. The numbers have drastically dropped since his arrival, allowing him to do other things such as join the TITANs. He'll still occasionally go off on a lead, but his heart is with the team.

Edited. Changed the name and made them more a cult than a group of warriors. So while they may have a select few number of members that can fight, the vast majority of them are guys that live in their moms' basements and trade demon playing cards.

So that could explain why Bolin was able to wipe them out in China.
Evil Ninja groups are hard to name =P I'll come up with something.
I re-posted Foo Dog's sheet in the ooc. I took out the bits about him being trained since childhood and lengthened my sample post. I figure Bolin will start off in the RP right as he gets released from the hospital.

But that limits what type of character you can play.
