Name: Isam Barad
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Homosexual
Nationality: Afghan
Tent: A

Reason for Joining The Sundown Company: Gratitude for their men saving his life.

Specialty: Marksmanship. Isam is a regular Hawkeye. He can snipe a fly off of a horse's back from a mile away. He's proficient with firearms, bows, and throwing knifes, although the latter is rarely practical.

Personality: Laconic, morose, and somber. Isam doesn't say much, but his actions speak for him. When he's not off being sad, he's a very good team player. Isam is loyal to his team as long as they remain loyal to him. He's genuinely a good person; he doesn't go around looking to screw other teams over or trying to pick fights. He just wants to get through this summer and move on.

Appearance: Isam is Arabic, with a medium brown skin tone, brown eyes, and black, curly hair. His hair is shoulder length, often worn in a bun or ponytail while working. He is a bit on the short side, standing at 5'6". He has a muscular build, his physical prowess making up for what he lacks in size. Isam is 148 pounds of pure, repressed fury.

Other: He can't swim. Isam never learned to swim, having grown up a poor farm boy in the Afghan desert.

History:

Isam's parent's were farmers, living in a small, impoverished village. It was a humble life, but he enjoyed it regardless. His small village had a family vibe to it; everyone knew everyone, and nothing bad ever happened. Until it did.

His village was targeted by an extremist group as a perfect place to set up shop. They raided homes, stole supplies, looted and murdered as they pleased. Isam's mother fell victim to them, and his father was taken to be forced into their numbers. Isam, too young to be valuable, was left behind with several others in the wreckage.

He spent the rest of his youth trying to pick up the pieces from those few days that ruined everything. With no money and his farm burned to the ground, he joined the army as soon as he was old enough. Isam discovered his knack for aim, and became a valued member of his platoon. Everything seemed to be picking up for him, until he found himself favoring a fellow officer, Amid.

Isam and Amid kept their relationship under wraps, knowing full well the consequences of being caught. However, being the unlucky man that he is, they were eventually found out. Both men were drug out into the desert by their platoon and brutally beaten for their perceived crime. Both were then left for dead.

Their bodies were found by a group of mercenaries with ties to Sundown. One barely alive, the other cold. Isam was taken to the merc's camp and nursed back to health, if not out of sheer pity. When he was able, he began helping their cause out of gratitude for saving his life. Upon seeing his skills, the mercs suggested he get in contact with Sundown so that he could get paid to work with them.

Isam then found himself in Camp Sunshine.

Name: Sasha Belov
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Nationality: Russian
Tent: D

Reason for Joining The Sundown Company: They offered him a new arm.

Specialty: Being a gym rat. Sasha excels at hand to hand combat, if not just by brute strength alone. He is, however, genuinely skilled at fighting. He's got a right hook like a freight train.

Personality:

Described as intense and driven, Sasha is not a guy you want to make an enemy of. He's intelligent, level headed, collected, and when he sees fit, unnaturally cold. With the heart of a soldier, Sasha will stop at nothing to complete a task he's set his mind on. His sheer will and determination make him a valuable ally.

But, despite being a killer for a living, Sasha isn't an evil man. The softer side of Sasha isn't something many people get to see. For one, he doesn't have many people to show it to, outside of his very small friend circle. Afraid of getting too close to other people, lest he be jaded, Sasha doesn't associate with others a whole lot. But when he's decided that you're his friend, a warmer, gentler giant begins to emerge.

Appearance:

Sasha is a very large, muscular man. He stands at six foot seven, has pale skin and dirty blonde hair that is kept in a neat buzz cut. His eyes are a gray-ish blue, and usually cold in appearance. They go just right with his perpetual frown. Sasha has several tattoos. His most notable tattoos are a compass that points West on his left chest, and a line of words in Russian on his arm. The words are now difficult to read due to a scar from a knife wound that runs right through the middle of them.

His right arm has been replaced with a high tech prosthetic. This bionic arm reads signals from his brain neurons and receives them just as his flesh and blood arm does. It's slightly stronger than his left arm, which is pretty strong.

Other: Sasha speaks with a Russian accent. He speaks several European languages fluently, Russian and English being his best of course.
He has a fake right arm.

History:

Sasha grew up in Kazan, Russia. His mother overdosed when Sasha was 5. He was left to be raised by his father, who fell into depression after the loss of his wife. His father wasn't the kindest, and often times was neglectful. After Sasha's mother had died, he had essentially lost interest in being a father. He would often invite his loud and obnoxious friends over to watch soccer games, drink, and play poker while Sasha hid in his room and pretended not to exist. Sasha wanted to get out of the house as soon as he could, and joining the military seemed like the best option.

He did well in the military, got several promotions, and made a life for himself. However, it all came crashing down when he lost his right arm to an explosive. Sasha was dismissed from the army due to his injury. He became aimless, having done nothing else since he was a teenager. That's where Sundown found him.

The Sundown Company offered to pay him a very expensive, experimental prosthetic if he agreed to work for them. Sasha, having nowhere else to turn, did. A few months later, he was at Camp Sunshine with his shiny new arm.

Reason for Joining The Sundown Company:

Personality:

Appearance:

History:

The Sundown Company started in 1964 as a private military organization. They were founded by Bill Tyler in Arizona, where their original base was kept. Over the years, the company became involved in a few scandals, and the legality of their existence came to question. Where they private soldiers? Or mercenaries? In 1980, the company was ordered to shut down operations, but seeing as it made it's founder a multimillionaire, Bill was less than willing to let his cash cow go. Instead, he decided to pick up and move his business somewhere they would never be found: the deep jungles of Venezuela. Enter Camp Sunshine.

The "Camp" operates under the guise of a summer camp for rich kids, or at least that's what goes on the paperwork. The real mission behind Camp Sunshine is a bit more insidious: training mercenaries for the field. These soldiers, once trained, can be bought and shipped off to fight for whoever has the deepest pockets. Each soldier is worth thousands of dollars.

Camp Sunshine offers a wide range of fun summer activities, such as an afternoon at the shooting range, a dip in the lake, or maybe a nice hike in the woods.

The Tents

Campers are grouped by which tent they are assigned. Your choices are Tent A, Tent B, Tent C, and Tent D, and also you don't get a choice. There are four campers per tent, male and female. You won't be separated in the field, and you won't be separated at Camp. Your tentmates are your family while you are at camp. You will eat with them, sleep with them, fight with them, and hopefully survive with them.

Gold Stars

Gold Stars are the currency at Camp Sunshine. You use them to buy extra supplies or food at the camp store. The Star is nothing more than a gold sticker on a card, but you better protect it with your life. Many campers have been "sent home" over stolen Stars.

Camp Store

The Camp Store is where campers can buy extra supplies with their gold stars. Guns, ammo, knives, equipment, food, alcoholic beverages, ect.

Night Watch

Camp Sunshine occasionally gets nighttime visitors, so a night watch is established each night to keep them at bay. Located in the heart of drug cartel territory, Camp Sunshine has had run-ins with these neighbors in the past. After a try or two to take over the territory, the cartels usually learn that messing with Camp Sunshine just isn't worth the trouble. However, every few years, a new boss will gain control and will try his luck once again. Two campers from each tent take the first watch, then switch with their tentmates for second watch. Look sharp soldiers, you may work for these guys some day.

The Shooting Range

t's pretty self explanatory. The Shooting Range offers the campers a place to hone their shooting skills. The range is a mandatory activity, and is assigned to a different tent each morning. You usually get an hour to practice, but can be held there long if you don't do well.

The Lake

Lake Sunshine is where all water based activities occur. The most popular is the Dive Challenge, where tents are pitted against each other in finding an object tossed into the bottom of the lake. The tent that finds it first receives a Star for each camper in said tent. The lake is also open for free swim during downtime, if you happen to come across any.

The Jungle

Camp Sunshine is surrounded by thick, near impenetrable jungle. This jungle helps keep the Camp hidden, and also provides the playground for the Thirty Mile Challenge. This Challenge takes every camper into the heart of the jungle, thirty miles from camp, and drops them all off in groups according to their tent. The tents then compete to find their way back. The first tent that makes it back with all surviving members gets Stars all around. "Surviving" being the key term. This challenge is known for being particularly brutish. While killing each other is typically frowned upon at Camp, deep in the jungle, no one can hear your scream.

The Mountain

What's a good summer camp without a mountain hike? The Mountain is a snow capped peak that lays near Camp Sunshine, and is utilized for the final camp challenge, The Climb. The Climb takes every camper and, you guessed it, pits them against each other in a race to the top. This challenge is taken very seriously, as it decides whether or not you get to leave camp. While it can very much be every man for himself, it's recommended that stick with your tent mates; you've gotten each other this far, after all.

1: Blatant attempted murder of fellow campers is frowned upon.
2: Don't get murdered.
3: If you decide to run away from Camp Sunshine, good luck in the jungle. Don't bother trying to come back.
4: Recruitment. Bill is always on the look out for new, extraordinary soldiers. New campers are either recruited by Bill himself (via letter, typically), or by former Camp Sunshine Campers. Once you graduate Camp Sunshine, you can recruit too. If your recruitee survives their summer at Camp, Bill can ensure you a fat Christmas bonus to show his gratitude.

Do you guys think I should make a discord for this rp?
Cool. Any ideas or questions for me?

To to wrap the idea of this RP up, you will be playing a merc-in-training at Camp Sunshine, a brutal training program that lasts the course of a summer. Your character could have military experience beforehand, or they could fresh. You can incorporate a bit of sci-fi into your character if you like. One of mine, for example, will have a bionic arm. If you have questions or ideas you want to run by me, feel free.
I'm bored and looking for a couple little 1x1s to fix that. If you want to apply please ensure that you are 18+ and a casual to advanced writer. Please be able to post at least every other day. I will be playing the male character in all of these ideas.
