Mia continued to look at Charles as he talked about his powers, trying to see the difference. When he pulled out the gemstone, she was about to comment about how pretty it was when he suddenly started to speak. She didn't understand what he was talking about so she kept quiet and listened, trying to figure it out.

The carriage that appeared surprised her, "Whoa, how do you do that? Is that your magic? Take out anything, and it can change into something else?" She asks, brimming with excitement and curiosity.

Mia shakes her head, "It might be better for you to transform first. If something comes to attack us we might move too slowly." She explains, "I'll try to get used to the weight. If we're going to be partners, we might as well start now."

Mia paid close attention to what both Lance and Charles were saying, trying to understand it to the best of her ability. "So, Lance uses lightning magic that is as strong as a god's, can replenish magic power by eating any kind of lightning but his own... and Charles can summon anything except things from the celestial realm?" She questioned. "I don't really get Charles's power...is it like my requiping magic?"

Mia jumps slightly at the touch of Zero's hand, she wasn't expecting him to hold her hand without warning, but she doesn't resist and lets him hold her hand. "Yeah...What kind of weapon are you anyway?" She asks.

"Okay" Mia enthusiastically called, running to catch up with Lance and Charles. As they walked through the streets, she listened to Lance and Charles talk for awhile, not quite understanding the conversation as she didn't know what Charles's magic was. "What kind of magic do the both of you use?" She asks inquisitively. "Wait let me guess, umm," she paused, thinking of the various kinds of magic she read of at the library, "Creation magic?" She guessed.

Mia bit her lips when Lance chastised her. "I'm sorry I promise I'll be prepared for the worst." She replies with her head bowed.

She looks at Lance speak of Azerus, another person who she hasn't spoken to in the guild. "Why is he troublesome?" She asks with curiosity.
