I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

"Pleasure to meet you, Sovor." Stef smiled as she craned her neck slightly to peer at him. He was tall - but then again, most people looked tall to her. His hand dwarfed hers, but her grip still remained strong. A remnant memory of her Father from her childhood - Never give a weak handshake - it's a bad impression, for all races of people.

As the pair released their grip and regarded each other, Stef considered his question. "How did I end up here? Some fucking awful detective work, that's how." She thought to herself almost sourly. Honestly, if the guards had done their jobs properly, they would have caught the damned assassin, and she would be home free. Or, at the very least, just serving a small-time burglary sentence and not an entire fucking life one.

"Oh, I happened to be unlucky in choosing my mark's house one night. Turns out the woman of the household had enemies, and after an unfortunate appointment conflict with the Dark Brotherhood, I was pinned for her murder." She said with a sigh, glancing at the other cell. Dreth was now silently sulking in the dark... good. Hopefully the Brotherhood would break in here one day and end his miserable life, if the guards didn't do it soon.

"How about you? It must have been bad if they threw you in here. It's generally one person to a cell." She explained, glancing around the dingy room that contained one table and one chair. There wasn't a bed to speak of, so thankfully there'd be no squabbling over that. Sharing the floor would be easy enough.

Stef paused as she heard a door slam from above, and a few muffled voices talking for a few minutes. It was a bit early for dinner... Perhaps they were throwing in another prisoner. She would thank the Gods if a rabid Orsimer got thrown in with Dreth - he'd piss his pants, most likely.

"Huh. Must be over-flowing the cells this week." Was Stefanie's first thought as a newcomer was shoved into her cell. At first, she'd been apprehensive, hearing the guards approach. They were none too kind to her - but with a Dunmer in the cell opposite, they preferred battering Dreth with insults moreso. She didn't know why, but so many damned guards had issues with Elves.

"This one deserves it though. What an almighty bastard Valen is."

When the guards weren't hurling abuse at either him or her, Dreth was whispering foul things - about what the guards would eventually do to her, about what he would do to her if the bars hadn't been in the way... the usual stuff.

So when another Dunmer was launched into her cell, she was none too pleased. However, it was obvious he was far more companionable than Dreth. Despite his harsh words to his fellow Dark Elf, he had a strangely pleasant grittiness about him - a harshness from the wild she was more accustomed to than the slime of Valen.

"Well, I suppose I would be what is considered an Outlander." She began, a smile already beginning to form on her lips. "But for that slimy son of a bitch in particular, I'm inclined to agree with you. I wouldn't bother talking to him - years in a cell has clearly addled his brain."

"You shut up, Breton wench! You're not leaving this prison 'til they throw your body in the lake!" Naturally, Dreth exploded at her interruption. She rolled her eyes, standing up from her favourite corner to stand by the newest addition.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I've got a few decades in me yet, rat-boy. Go chew on some skeever tails." She replied dryly, then offering her hand to her fellow prisoner to shake. No matter the situation, she did enjoy introductions. First impressions, and all that.

"I'm Stefanie Beauamont - call me Stef, if you like. I figure if we're spending some time together, we may as well known each other's names." Stef stated, torchlight from the outside corridor illuminating her pale face. After a month in prison, the lack of food had began to show - her cheeks were far hollower than when she had been interred, and various smudges of her dirt streaked her face. Nevertheless, bright eyes shone through, a spark of mischief ever alive within them.

My character is up, and I shall be doing my first post now. :)

Name: Stefanie "Stef" Beauamant
Age: 29
Race: Breton
Gender: Female
Starsign: The Ritual
Birthplace: Bruma, Cyrodiil

Appearance:
Being a Breton, Stephanie does not stand tall - at an unassuming height of 5'4, with a slim yet curvaceous figure. Toned muscles exist in her arms and legs, but are not obvious to the eye. Her heart-shaped face is in no doubt a comely one - slightly pointed ears, a dimpled smile, and light blue eyes rimmed with hazel. Atop her head is long hair the colour of a warm mahogany - red and gold hues within, and a slight wave to it's shape.

However, she does have her fair share of scars - several claw marks have left small ridges in her skin on the top of her arms and back - there are also some old crescent shaped marks on her neck, from vampire attacks in her past. She doesn't like talking about them.

Personality:
Generally an easy-going and humerous girl; despite a less than easy life, Stef prefers to keep an light mind about things. It tends to make life easier, she's found. As such, she can be quick to build companionship's or make jokes; the more a situation deteriorates, and the more nervous she gets, the more jokes come from her mouth.

On the other hand, she has a fierce temper. Although not easily broken, the few times she has lost it has left people dead - and she was well within their rights to kill them, but it was done in a slightly more... frenzied manner than she is used to. From this temper lives a fierce protectiveness over things she cares about deeply, although she has become used to not sharing this type of bond with anything these days. After so many years of loss, she'd rather not become emotionally invested in someone, as it will lead to a grieving of death afterwards. As such, she lives a nomadic lifestyle - never staying with the same people for a long amount of time, and constantly traversing the countryside. Because a long travelling companion means emotions are bound to come into it once more.

If one is to become her friend, her jokes become less, and her naturally friendly and companionable side is shown; not making quips for the sake of breaking the silence, but rather enjoying once another's company.
She also has a very large reckless and rebellious streak - more often than not she will storm into danger, simply to see what happens on the other side.

Backstory:
As is the story of many a thief, her road has not been an easy one - not original. Losing her parents at the young age of ten, she was fostered by her Uncle - although a kind man to her, he was constantly hard at work as a guard, and had a more than discriminatory background. The small amount of time she spent with him, usually involved his racist rants, or him telling a story of mistreating a beggar in the street.

These were not words she was comfortable to hear - and in her own way of rebellion against him, turned to the streets in her free time to learn trade from the very beggars and burglars her Uncle shunned - in replace for gold coins and food, they taught her how to be quiet, how to pick pockets, and better yet, how to pick locks. While this was going on, her Uncle was paying for her to be trained in fighting - although many things, sexist was not one, and he firmly believed all should be taught how to defend oneself. She began with blades, but soon found her forte in the bow, practicing with both until she turned 15, and her Uncle had a most untimely death.

Left alone once again, she was unable to keep up the rent on the small Bruma home, and was cast out.
Now stuck in the awkward stage of not child enough to be given a free home, and not adult enough to get a decent upkeep - Stef turned to the beggars for aid.
And aid her they did.

By the time she was 20, she considered herself to be an expert thief - survival was no longer an issue; she would rob stately homes and castles simply to prove she could. Any fleeting friendships or romances with fellow thieves or marauders ended quickly, for none could keep up with her, nor stay quiet like her. Over time, they were killed or imprisoned, and she quickly taught herself to stop mourning for them.

However, it was companionship that saved her life, and broke her heart in the end.

At the young age of 23, she and a fellow Thief - a handsome Nord by the name of Amund - came across a vampires nest in an old castle. They split up to begin with - as was the norm - but Stef was unused to vampires. The very shadows that she was usually invisible in betrayed her to the beasts, unknowing of their existence and ability to see in the dark. It was Amund who saved her that day, only to succumb to blood loss himself upon killing the beasts.

This experience changed Stefanie - both in combat, and in personality. Although the recklessness still existed, she is cautious to take others along in her journey - lest they end up like all of her companions in the past.
As such, she had nobody to dig her out of trouble when she was pinned for a crime she didn't commit - some noblewoman murdered in her bed. Sadly, that had been while Stef was robbing her home. She's been in the Imperial Cells for about a month now, and her thin face is beginning to show it.

Skills:
As a rogue, Stefanie's skills lie in the sneakier category - sneak, acrobatics and athletics are at top tier, as her manner of surviving means she relies a lot on running and climbing as opposed to actual brute strength. Keeping in line with her fleeting lifestyle, she generally sticks to lighter armours such as fur or leather.

Not to say she doesn't have strength - there is more packed than one would think of her size. With a great love of light blades and the bow, she has honed her skill in both - although more proficient in the bow, her knives are to be considered just as deadly.

As for her less deadly of skills, she is skilled in lock-picking, pick-pocketing, and speech. She is let down by her lack of knowledge in magic, and inability to use any weapon heavier than a steel longsword.

Extra:
The one trinket she holds with sentimental value is an Amulet of Mara - her Mother's Amulet. She was thankfully able to store it before her arrest, as she figured it bad luck to wear such an item of purity while doing a deviant act like robbery. She also thinks her Mother would be ashamed of her lifestyle, and as such, doesn't wear it when on the job - perhaps her Mother won't know that way.

Ahh I'm so sorry! I've been real distracted - but I'm finishing it up now. If you'd like, you can go ahead and just do your first post - we're both in prison together, and there's an arsehole Elf opposite us chatting shit. Not much else until the Emperor arrives, haha.

"I was born 87 years ago. For 65 years I've ruled as Tamriel's emperor, but for all these years, I've never been the ruler of my own dreams. I have seen the gates of Oblivion, beyond which no waking eye may see. Behold, in darkness, a doom sweeps the land. This is the 27th of Last Seed, the year of Akatosh, 433. These are the closing days of the third era, and the final hours of my life."

Find him... and close shut the jaws of Oblivion.
