I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

Sliding three bits across the dirty bar counter and receiving some piss-poor ale in return, Feri regarded the murky liquid for a moment before downing it in one go. It tasted like shit, but it got people drunk - surely that was the only reason people came to the Hanged Man?
"At least I'll never have to drink this swill again - pirates deal more in shit-tasting rum than shit-tasting beer." Thought with a somewhat sardonic smile, Feri left her mug on the top and slid from her chair, leaving the inn for what would hopefully be the last time. She had no plans to revisit Kirkwall - or, at the very least, not for a prolonged stay, anyway.

"And now onto the whorehouse. What better place to pick up a crew?" Feri muttered under her breath as she headed towards Hightown, tightening the sash around her waist as it came undone.

She'd heard plenty of rumours on the street in the past few days about someone looking for a crew, but at first, she'd ignored such stories. Half the time she did pick up on rumours like that, it turned out to be some piss-poor sailor boy who thought he could move up in the world by owning a cutlass. But as more tales surfaced, that of a Qunari Captain, with a decent boat and a decent mind for leading, her interest became piqued. Even moreso when she found out the place of hiring - the Blooming Rose. From what she'd seen of the Qunari squatting in the docks, they be more likely to raze the place to the ground than put one horn inside a whorehouse. But apparently, this one didn't follow the rest of his herd. And that was intriguing enough for Ferirev to go and take a look.

Upon entering the establishment, it didn't take long for her to find the Qunari - despite all the distractions around her, the guy really stood out. She could tell even from where he was sat he was one tall bastard - she'd probably reach just above his waist, if she was lucky. Feri walked forwards, halting beside a man who was obviously waiting for the Qunari's attention. She regarded him with a shrewd, sideways look, taking in his scars and the steely look in his eye - he seemed both younger and older than herself, in some ways.

And then she saw the dog.

Her first, natural reaction was that of happiness; she loved dogs. Partly because she'd never seen many in her life, especially not a Mabari war hound like this one. And then logic kicked in, and she looked back up to the man, one eyebrow cocked quizzically.

"A brave man, taking a war hound on a pirate ship. I've heard bad things about people who cooped up their Mabari's for too long." Feri said this with just a hint of a wry smile, but certainly not a full one. Didn't want to give the impression she was the cheerful sort of person, after all.

@POOHEAD189

As is yours! Having a puppy always helps too - I can just see my grumpy Feri being eventually won over by the adorable Gideon. XD
@MacabreFox

The concept definitely looks intriguing! I'll take another look tomorrow when I'm not so tired and can read it through properly, then I'll decide if I can manage it. But with a free summer ahead, I think the prospect looks pretty good. :) Thanks for the heads up, bud.

I wasn’t sure how we were doing abilities – if they all have to start at the base point, I’ll change them.
Also, I hope the little Anders cameo in her bio is okay. I couldn’t resist – injured and alone in Kirkwall? Who else is there to go to for aid? XD
@FantasyChic

Damn! Beaten once again. Knew I should have gone with the Eysenck one instead. XD
Found something that may interest you all while we're waiting for the OOC to kick off - Personality types! No doubt you've seen tables like this:
before, and I was interested to discover what everybody's character's are. You could even put the results on the mental evaluation of their CS, if you'd like. So, here's a link to the website, and just go ahead and answer the questions the way you think your character(s) would to decide what they'd be. :)

P.S
Eva is ENFP, Roran is ESFP. I like my extraverts, that's for sure. :)
@fluorescent

Thanks! In that case, she'll be a good ol', stigmatised half-breed. XD
Will get my CS up some time tomorrow, now that College is officially over I can focus on it. :)

Oh, a question in regards to it, actually. I know Men and Elves can breed together, but can Men and Dwarves? I was thinking of maybe going for a half-Dwarven rogue, but I don't know whether it's canon that they can have children together or not?
Likewise - although I think Mia has a lot of promise in terms of character development, the RP is just a wee bit too slow for me. I do hope the rest of you have fun though! I know Germaine will certainly be having fun with Dialga and Palkia - and anyone else who get's in his way. XD
