Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.
So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:
I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.
If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:
Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)

Mass Effect Trilogy
Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Fringe
Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)

The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series

The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.
Eva chuckled softly to herself, watching with somewhat narrowed eyes as Avice pranced away.
"Rich advice, coming from a girl who has no skill in either endeavour." She said in a scathing tone, loud enough for both twins to hear. "As for picking fights Isaac, I hope your cousin there avoids one. The poor bambina wouldn't cope very well, I think. Even with one of those "slabs of mundane metal" we fools use." Said with another chuckle, Eva's eyes turned to Chandler, the quieter of the two boys. Last year she'd admired the way in which he commanded the broom in Quidditch matches - Isaac too, as well - but Chandler showed a real prowess at it.
"Looking forward to Quidditch this year, boys? I was thinking of trying out for the Hufflepuff team - they lost their Seeker and one of their Chasers when they finished last summer. I don't think my parents would approve, but then again, they rarely do when it comes to me." She'd already discussed this prospect with her brother, who - surprisingly - thought it was an excellent idea. No doubt he thought it would be a way for her to let off some of that wild energy that always had her bouncing around, and perhaps even teach her some discipline. She couldn't argue with that, but naturally, those weren't the reasons she wanted to join the team. She never felt so free as when she was up in the air, and Quidditch was one of the few things she and Leo had in common.
As more of the students milled into the Great Hall, Eva's mind wandered to what would be for dinner. "I hope they do that French onion soup again. Oh, and the venison too!" Eva's stomach grumbled quietly in hunger, almost echoing her thoughts.
Ryden gave a low, throaty chuckle as Ingerith's eyes turned to his bloodied hand.
"Ah, no more trouble than usual. You know what I'm like - the amount of time I spend in that forest, bothering it's denizens, I may as well live in it." He paused then, taking his hand away from the Thestral before it gave into temptation and took another chunk out of it. "Although, I doubt the Centaurs would be pleased if I did that."
Watching on as more of the children made their way into the Castle, Ryden looked back to Ingerith.
"Perhaps we should make our way inside, lest our villainous Headmaster think we are conspiring against him." He said jokingly, glancing up at the windows of the castle where Corvus enjoyed skulking.
Apologies for my delay, just dealing with some real life stuff - although nothing as bad as @MacabreFox's plane issues. Jesus - and here I thought that ten hour layover I had as a kid was bad. That was shits and giggles compared to yours; still, glad you got to swim in the big blue at last! I'd enjoy it myself far more often if it wasn't for all the damned seaweed.
Anyhoo, @gcold, is it worth me getting a post in now? I'm not sure whether the plan is to kill all the Falmer and their insect friends, or to just drive them off? Or is there going to be another time-skip soon that I should wait for?
For those wondering, the only (named) ghosts not present at Hogwarts at this point are Nearly-Headless Nick, Professor Binns and Moaning Myrtle. The former isn't dead yet, and the latter two have yet to exist, naturally. So, poor Gryffindor is without a house ghost!
