if you have a "craving", write a story on your own, that way when you inevitably lose interest and quit you're only wasting your own time

It's something I'd be interested in being a part of, but I don't exactly know how easily I'd fit in, or if I'm allowed to (or if I should, for my mental health).
dis is pretty cool dude
"Yes, I think you're right." Asher grunted as he hefted himself up on to the horse, with Johanna's help. "Thank you," he hissed, still cursing at the internal aches and pains. Hopefully they would fade, but he would be damn uncomfortable until then. "Let's bring him along. One of these horses may get tired, and we also might be able to make use of a pack horse." Then he realized something: the Magi weren't moving.

The idea that Asher had suddenly burst to the surface. He slid off the horse again. "Let's try to follow these Magi. For one thing, we'll be safe while we're near them. But I think..." here Asher tapped his chin. "I think they might be heading in the same direction as we are. They also might know a whole treasure trove of information." He paused. Appropriate words, 'treasure trove'. "If we work at it well enough, we might be able to find something useful for our ordeal."

The night was only just beginning, and it didn't seem like the Magi were going to be leaving any time soon. "Here's what we'll do, for now." Asher chose his words with care. At the beginning of the venture, Johanna had been a tagalong, with him calling the shots. But now, having save each others lives, and spoken at great length, they were friends, and comrades. Asher didn't want to overstep his bounds. "Sleep in turns, keeping watch for either more bandits, or the Magi's departure. If they're still here in the morning, excellent. We'll begin following them whenever they decide to move, and see what we can find out."

He grimaced with pain. "If you don't mind, could you take the first watch?" Hoping she'd agree, Asher limped back to their campsite, reignited the fire after a few failed attempts, and promptly fell into the tent he had hastily pitched, drained and exhausted.
Finally did the thing, sorry for the delay. Lemme know if anything needs changing

The 'Club' set up was normal enough. A bunch of tables around the edge of the room, all trying to get more people to come to their group so they could get more funding.

"Interested in being a pro gamer?" "Do you like to draw or paint?" "What do you think about robots?" Everyone was trying to get him to come to their table.

Eventually, he found his way to the sports booth. "You do any martial arts-y...things?" He asked. "Or...maybe Parkour?" Hardcore parkour. Something he always meant to try, but never really had the time or insanity for. The guy at the booth nodded, so Matt shrugged, and murmured "Sign me up." He handed over his ID card. Everything else he could just steal from other people if he ever felt like it. Or not, if he was following the Code. Maybe he'd join more later if the muse struck him.

A new image caught his attention. A tiny girl and a giant one, talking. Maybe he'd just sidle in and say hello, like his mom always told him not to do. Forget that, though, he was an adult. He had to interact with people, make new friends, build up allies. So, he did the normal thing and stared at the little girl for a few seconds, then at the tall one, then back to the small one. Someone was sleeping in the corner, he'd seen them when he walked in. Sleeping people always worked the best for him, because he could pretty much leech anything from them. In this case, it was vision. Bam, zoomed in on the little kid. Oh, not a little kid! Crisis averted. With his doubly-enhanced vision, Matt could see her student ID.

After a long time of doing nothing, he walked over. "Hello" was all he said, until he frantically realized he needed to say more. "Uh, hi. I'm Matt. Mmmmm...so what are you two interested in?" It was the most mortifying entrance of his entire year.
That does help. Might be a bit of a while before I post anything, gotta read up.

No, not really. If you need a quick summary, I can provide one, but your entrance is your own. :D

I can probably end up reading through the whole thing, but if you want to type up little thing anyway, I'd be very grateful.

EDIT: Anyone feel like rooming with Matt? Camaraderie and all that
I will see when I have some time. Is there a particular way you'd like characters to enter?

I think that 5 or 6 would be a good maximum, especially at first, and that leads me to another question: are powers harder for him to copy? The reason I'm asking is because if not, having ten powers at once is a bit overkill.

Oh, I never thought he could copy more than one at a time. I figured if someone else was hit really hard or incapacitated during a fight, he could pick up the slack. I'm not looking to go all "Last Airbender" on someone. A single power at a time, and we'll say six people as a limit.

Sound good? The modifications have been made.

You're good to go there. I was just saying that copying would only work in specific situations anyways, so there isn't really a need to have it be a part of the power. Likewise, if you really want it, I suppose it would be okay, as it's pretty limited to specific situations.

I'll leave it in as a safeguard, because I'd be bummed if I got a chance to use it and couldn't.

I've also limited the amount of people which can be affected from 5-10, depending on how healthy he himself is at the time. If that's too much, I can scale it down.
