As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

I'm just a simple college student working his way through life while simultaneously testing the limits of how much caffeine and alcohol the human body can subsist on before it gives out. Just call me Shade.

If she's going to be kicking anyone that hard it's going to break herself just as much and even though they heal fast it'll still hurt and take a while. So she won't be hitting anyone that hard that often. As per the clairvoyance it's the same as I said to Ly. She doesn't have any control over it at all. She see's and writes things she doesn't understand well enough on her own and she gets the urge to go to it, once again. Uncontrollable.

That's what I was referring to with the kicking. It's already possible for a human to break their own limbs if they exert too much force, which is why the body unconsciously keeps us from using every ounce of strength we have unless we're on an adrenaline high. I just wanted to make sure the risks of such detrimental actions were apparent given the fragile nature of our character's bones in comparison to the strength they have. On an unrelated note, sorry if I happen to sound like a smarmy douche in my posts, it's something that I for the life of me can't seem to stop. Helps me earn the moniker of "The Gentleman Bastard" though...
If the feline thing becomes a problem, I could see about finding something different.

I wouldn't call it a "problem" per say, it's just a matter of avoiding everyone with feline DNA trying to be a stealth type (not saying it will happen, but it could), which could be tricky. For your character stealth works perfectly since ocelots by nature are very reclusive and you've chosen a bird species that's pretty hard to keep track of, which would make her the perfect scout or hit and run type. I can see Nightmare's character being a tank-type similar to mine that would have more of an "ambush and overpower" sort of approach given that's how tigers usually hunt. Violet's and Kage's characters appear to overlap a bit in regards to tracking capability, but it might be able to work if they're different in their approaches. So long as we can avoid a nonstop fiesta of Solid Snake levels of stealth occurring with everyone I don't see it becoming that big a deal.

Looks a bit Angel-ish in regards to the clairvoyance thing, however it can be done tastefully if it's not something Luna has absolute control over. The combination of attributes from both of the spliced species has been tastefully done, especially in regards to the clouded leopard and it appears as though you've done a fair bit of research on them to know their physiology (on a similar note, i'm noticing a large about of these Characters are spliced with felines, I sense some potential overlapping here, a lot like the issue we had with the Hummingbird thing yesterday). Limb strength's just a *tiny* bit iffy for your character considering the hollow bone structure shared amongst each character, but given the increased muscle mass and the fact I assume Luna won't just be outright kicking every enemy with all of her strength for risk of breaking a bone, it doesn't seem as though it'd be of too much concern. All in all, a fairly balanced character in my book.

Oh jeez, I just realized Jacque's the oldest of the bunch. Get ready for the world's most piss n' vinegar big brother folks!
@ViolentViolet
Truth be told, I had to do a bit of research before I mentioned the eating thing to ensure I wasn't just going to be talking out of my ass when I brought up my point. I already knew that creatures that lived in arctic biomes survived on very little food and water much like creatures in desert biomes, but I wanted to ensure I had an accurate time frame for a wolf's metabolic rate. Thus far I think only snakes, deep sea fish, and tardigrades can last for such extended periods of time without a meal.

@SilverWolfAngel
S'all good, researching so late can take a toll on a person's mind. On the plus side, while the arctic wolf DNA doesn't imbue such a startling metabolic rate, it definitely offers you a TON of endurance. The average arctic wolf can actually lope nonstop for twenty four hours despite being hindered by snow and subzero conditions. If we were to take that into account for Fade's attributes, she could theoretically do the same thing when it comes to flight provided she did it at a steady pace and could literally just chase her targets to exhaustion or death. I dunno about you, but I find pursuit predation to be one of the more terrifying hunting methods.
@SilverWolfAngel Er...not to be nitpicky, but an arctic wolf can only go a maximum of a a few weeks to a single month without eating anything before it risks starvation, and that's at peak condition. They generally avoid starvation due to the fact that they are extremely adaptable and have a large variety of prey to choose from, as well as the fact that they eat every part of an animal they get hold of, whether it's freshly killed or simply an abandoned carcass. The five month thing is a misnomer, and it's stated that they just live in complete darkness for four or five months of the year, not that they go that long without food.
@RomanAria I personally was under the assumption that it was simply a matter of avoiding using the colloquial term when choosing a particular bird and that bird must be a specific species, which was one half of the reason I made sure to state what particular type of hawk I was using in case someone also wished to use a hawk. At this point what this seems like to me is an issue of having more than one character with abilities that are too similar as hummingbirds as a whole are near indistinguishable in their abilities.

If you do consider going for another species of bird, might I suggest something like a species of Bee-Eater? They're gorgeous to look at and are fast and skilled enough to hunt down things like dragonflies and wasps while flying through dense forest. It may not scream "great speed", but it definitely screams "great agility", which can actually be more useful than raw speed in some settings.
He has grey eyes, stands at 6'3", and has rusty red colored wings with small flecks of black on his wing tips

Name: Jacque Marrow
Age: Twenty
Sex: Male

DNA: Harris hawk + Gila monster
Mutations -

Abilities:
Jacque is a very good pursuit hunter, often relying on his endurance rather than speed to continually chase his enemies to the point of exhaustion before catching and overpowering them. As far as noncombative abilities go, he's surprisingly good at sewing and stitching fabrics and to a lesser extent, wounds. He can cook as well, however it only applies to meats and the meals are usually on the rare side due to his tastes.

Personality: Much like the desert creatures he was enhanced with, Jacque is a tough and somewhat ornery bastard with a very straight forward manner of speaking. Despite his temper, Jacque has remarkable control over his actions and will generally hold back on acting on his anger unless pushed past what he considers to be a reasonable limit, even then he'll only dish out as much punishment as he deems necessary for a transgression, in other words, he's an "eye-for-an-eye" type of guy. Lastly, Jacque is tolerant of social interactions with small-to-medium sized groups, but would much rather sleep the day away if given a choice. He's on relatively good terms with the others, and despite him being the oldest of the bunch, he doesn't really show interest in assuming a leadership role, rather he's content with the role of an elder sibling or a caretaker.

Biography: Jacque's story really isn't that much different from any other subject from The School. He was spliced with the DNA of different creatures in the womb and pronounced dead at birth before being stolen away from his parents. For years he was used as a guinea pig as several white coats explored the potential for him not only to be used as a weapon against the Flock, but a tracker for escaped subjects, however the plan was ultimately scrapped due to the high probability for him not only to escape, but survive if deployed in an arid region. When Max and her bunch managed to escape, the ensuing chaos allowed for Jacque and a few others to get out as well. He's been with the second group of escapees ever since.
Extras:
Thanks to his modifications Jacque can only properly digest meats, water, and small amounts of spices and dairy. His primary purpose for creation was to hunt down an eliminate the Flock in an arid region should they escape. Jacque has to be careful about how much he eats as his tail will store fat from every meal, too much fat over time makes him too heavy to fly until the fat is burned through.
My Cs has now been accordingly edited.
Understood, I was hoping to build a tank-y character but I knew that having hollow bones would make that impossible. I can just fall back on my secondary character idea, which is admittedly still a bit tank-y considering his purpose.

Name: Jacque Marrow
Age: Twenty
Sex: Male

DNA: Harris hawk + Gila monster
Mutations/Abilities - From the hawk: Flight, enhanced senses, enhanced strength - From the Gila Monster: Enhanced jaw strength, neurotoxic venom glands, doubly enhanced sense of smell, doubly enhanced strength.

Extras:
Jacque was created with the purpose of tracking down and ultimately eliminating the Flock in desert regions, as such he has been extensively modified to have very little need for water and sports a four foot long tail that acts as a fat storage that can keep him going for nearly two weeks without food even with his avian metabolism, though he'll have to ingest extremely large amounts of food after this is used up as his body will immediately begin to cannibalize itself otherwise. Further taking from his Gila DNA is a vomeronasal organ in the roof of his mouth and a forked tongue, which heightens his senses almost beyond that of an eraser's sense of smell (required for long distance tracking). The venom in his bite is lethal in large doses, however the delivery method is poor, as despite sporting a mouth full of sharp teeth, his jaws lack the muscles to compress the venom glands and inject venom, meaning he has to chew on his target and let the venom ooze in like an actual Gila Monster or a komodo dragon would. Jacque can only digest meat.

Very well, before I submit a character, is it absolutely necessary that a character's avian DNA make them have wings, or can the avian DNA manifest itself in other avian qualities such as raptor sight?
