@Thunder999999 for Lucille, I'd say something similar to Ophelia. She wouldn't start talking to Lucas or open up to him, but if he tries she would always be nice and civil, as she was taught. She could even end up considering him kind of a friend, though she'd never be completely truthful or really open up to him, as that's something she has really ingrained in her mind

@Atlas946 Oh, yeah, I have just seen the genealogy! Probably not: she has never been warm or overly open with anyone, not even Eryx, but it's easy to see that she acts closer and warmer to him than others. He'd probably be one of the
few people she trusts, at least a little, and she'd spend time with him in the Collegem, even if it's only to study in silence.

Hello again! I've been working and couldn't get here as much as I wanted. But I've finally been able to finish checking and deciding how to use the experience we got! I'm leaving the character sheet here too, to finally migrate from the other thread.

Her life wasn't easy at all, but also couldn't be considered difficult. Indifference would be the word to describe it, to describe her life, her parents, her relations. Growing up in a rich home, with tutors, with everything and the touch of her fingers. Everything except someone to trust, someone to love her.

"Be careful and don't mess up your dress"

Her parents didn't really want kids, they wanted an heir. All they imagined and dreamed of was a perfect heir, a son with amazing abilities with the sword and strategy, or a perfect daughter, beautiful, all soft smiles, someone to marry off for a good price. Instead, they got Lucille: she was a good kid, nice and loving, but never enough. She wasn't beautiful enough, smart enough, cunning enough. She just wasn't.

"Lucille, darling, I don't have time for this"

Growing up, she spent far more time with her tutors and servants than her parents. Her father was always travelling, trying to be as far as possible from his wife and daughter, her mother busy maintaining an image of the perfect lady, even though her husband wouldn't even talk to her. Meanwhile, little Lucille had to find ways to entertain herself, isolated from the world so her family could keep playing the perfect little noble family. The only thing she could do with her time was training archery, being an art that one of her tutors enjoyed teaching her.

"Why don't you go out and stop being a bother?"

And that she did. Soon she started training, spending all of her free time, almost all of her waking hours, shooting arrows in the backyard, improving day by day. Some servants even started going with her, enjoying the spectacle that it was, whispering about how she could easily win most of the tournaments, even with people older and wiser than her. Everyone in the palace would go see her one day or the other; everyone but her mother.

"Don't ask for attention, that's unbecoming of a lady"

When it was finally time to go to the academy, Lucille didn't have any idea of how to talk to people her age. She got to her classes, did her tasks, but never showed her real ideas or opinions. Her mother always told her she was supposed to be seen, a beautiful flower, and she had to let the others be the ones to think and explain. She never showed her talents, stopping her training and focusing on being the perfect average noble, just as her mother wanted. She wouldn't let others get in her heart either, even if that hurt her sometimes. She was still nice, all smiles and helping acts, but no one ever knew if that was real or not. She even gained herself the title of Ice Princess: cold, unattainable, pretty to look at, fragile. Something you couldn't touch unless you wanted it to melt and go away. She got through the academy as the wind blowing softly: maybe you noticed it, but it wasn't relevant enough, it didn't change a thing.

"You are supposed to be seen, not heard"

When the war started, she decided to take a stand and go with the other archers. Her mother didn't agree at the beginning, until al counselor said that it would always be good publicity. When the demons got to the palace and Lucille was called with the others, her mother didn't even say goodbye. She was already trying to run away through a tunnel. It was the last straw: she was trying her best, keeping the face of her family, all their responsabilities in her shoulders, while her mother ran away like the worst of the traitors. But she couldn't get angry then, didn't have time for vengeance or regret, only cared about trying to save her home and her people, the only ones that cared about her. They deserved to live, and she deserved too, now that she understood that she had to really live instead of just moving to her mother's song.

"At my mark! Aim... Tense... Shoot!"

They did what they could, but soon the palace was surrounded. There were demons everywhere, chaos, smoke and screams getting to the place where the archers were. It was almost a massacre, blood every place Lucille looked, people falling over the wall, everyone falling over corpses and forgotten victims of the attack. Lucille fought with all she had to try and find a way out, helping out the others, but they couldn't make it. Thankfully, the axe that got her was merciless, but quick. It all faded to black, but it didn't even hurt.

@Zeroth I wasn't thinking that far ahead, I was mainly thinking her parents as her greatest regret and the reason of her failure, but I wasn't considering them relevant apart from that. For me, being the granddaughter of Deividas Kaides sounds perfect and really fitting: I could be the daughter of one of the forgotten children, what would explain a lot of the isolation and attitude.

As for other details, I don't have anything important in mind. As I saw I was one of the last (or the last) to have a character sheet, I tried to keep it open and more focused on the character instead of context and other things of the story, not wanting to disrupt what was already created. So, I'm open to whichever you find more fitting. As for them showing up at the Collegem, what I had in mind have always been the idea of a perfect family but just for show, the kind of people that never explains or tells too much, that's the only relevant detail I had

Wow, what a world building! I still have to digest and read carefully most of the lore, but I'm loving it!

@Zeroth I really like the magic system you have in mind, but I don't mind either decision you make. I like both options.

As for the character, I still have to think a little, more of the background and past, but I already have the basic idea. I'd love to have a character working more on the long range of weaponry, maybe bow or crossbow. I have in mind the kind of girl small, quiet, almost invisible and usually too nice for her own good (which will be an important part of her past and fall). As she gains confidence and control over her newfound ability, she'd grow bolder and more vocal about her ideals, looking to change their kingdom for the better by any means necessary (so, leaning on a morally grey character, sometimes doing bad things for the greater good)

Hello everyone! It was about time that I started creating characters sheets, and this is the place. For now, this post is a Work In Progress, while I start adding characters that I have in my mind, preparing a good layout and organisation and develop everything a little more till it's really fitting my taste and how I want it to look. But we have to start somewhere!

Born: 22nd of July (Age: Normally in her twenties, precise age depends on the rp)
Appearence: Lily is a girl that could easily be described as forgettable: shy and introverted, she would die before being the center of attention. Still, she has been considered cute before, even beautiful under the right light and conditions, though it is not something she thinks. Her build is now lean, slightly muscular from practising sports, but still looks little and small in all of her 5'2" of height. She has dark eyes, almost black, fitting perfectly with her brunette hair, slightly tan skin and bright smile. She always wears her wavy hair long and free, only wearing a messy bun when studying late in the library or at home. Her clothes always fit in the girl next door stereotype: jeans, basic T-shirts (and sometimes a daring basic crop top) and cute cardigans or simple baggy sweaters.
Occupation: Social Work Student
Hobbies: Lily likes to practise sports, mostly martial arts, but also enjoys running or doing calisthenics when she doesn't have time to properly train. Still, what she most loves is reading, her mind always in fantasy settings or running political theories on whatever book she is reading at the time. She also likes playing videogames sometimes, but mostly when she is able to play with friends or to relax when she is not able to think after a long day.
Personality: Lily is a shy girl, the main definition of an overachiever and perfectionist, the need of gaining other's approval always in the depths of her mind. Since she was little, being an only child, she grew up with caring but strict parents. As soon as she started school, she applied the smart girl tag all to herself: always reading, studying, making sure she knew everything, truly believing that it would make her parents proud. That made her classmates hate her, and Lily create a great pressure for herself, years passing by while she only grew more into her role. Thankfully, she was saved by a small group of friends, meeting them in a volunteering activity when she was sixteen, slowly starting her change into a slightly bolder and confident girl. She still looks shy and needs a lot of time before trusting others and feeling able to talk freely, but everyday she is getting closer to being the confident woman she wants to be.
