This thread is dedicated to all of the villains myself and players in the League have made. Every villain alive or dead, on the run or in prison, player-made or established, will be posted here and be constantly updated. Hopefully the eclectic and interesting nature of these villains will persuade some readers to join our thread.

Abattoir

Dr. David Smith, one of the most prolific serial killers in American History. His power is psychic surgery meaning he can manipulate a person's body with touch. In fact Abattoir had been a renowned physician and when his powers Awakened became even more renowned. But the doctor had hidden compulsions that broke him down until one day one of his patients was discovered with her heart ripped out of her chest. Smith went on the run and his compulsions continued. He targeted young women of all backgrounds and cut a bloody and gruesome swath down the East Coast in his rampage, along the way murdering several law enforcement officers who were investigating the bodies he left behind. The press named him Abattoir and his genius intelligence allowed him to remain several steps ahead of law enforcement.

Abattoir terrorized the nation and left bloody displays that taunted the media and the police for his own amusement. He was eventually tracked down and subdued by Pariah and DSA Agents in a violent encounter that left several DSA Agents viciously murdered and several more brutally injured. Abattoir is currently held in a super-maximum security facility, and is the first superhuman to be placed on Death Row in the US. His story has attained him infamy in the public eye and he has been called the most famous serial killer in America, becoming an urban legend and horror story to adults and children alike. His upcoming autobiography is anticipated to be one of the best-selling novels in recent history. His powers and his intelligence render him as one of the most dangerous villains alive and those who live in the areas he terrorized fear the day Abattoir will return.

Apex

Apex, real name unknown is the mysterious leader of the Novus Sapiens militant superhuman group. Almost nothing is known about him, except that he first appeared after the Awakening with his manifesto that declared the Awakening as a sign of a new era. An era of Superhuman dominion over the the normal populace. Apex is known to make cryptic broadcasts through the internet espousing his philosophy of superhuman superiority and his calls for all superhumans villain, hero, or civilian to unite under one banner to overthrow the established government and create a "Superhuman Utopia" where all Superhumans are equal and provide protection and services for "lesser" humans in exchange for servitude.

His Novus Sapien movement is one of the most dangerous terror groups active and attracts several superhumans whose dangerous manifestations make them outcasts and pariahs in normal society. Their group remains in hiding and is responsible for violence against anti-superhuman groups such as True Humans and the PMDF along with charitable acts such as defending inhabitants of the various "mutant" communities that have appeared in abandoned buildings and underground to escape persecution. Several times the DSA. regular law enforcement, and established heroes have clashed with Novus Sapiens and their supporters. But very rarely has Apex made an appearance.

It is not even known conclusively if Apex is a male or if Apex is even one person as concealing clothing and voice distortion technology masks Apex's true identity. All that can be known for sure is that Apex is charismatic and intelligent, amassing control of an organized and highly dangerous superhuman underground. Speculation abounds that Apex is one of the extremely rare superhumans who has the abilities of sensing, bestowing, enhancing, weakening, and negating superhuman powers. Conflicts where Novus Sapien members had powers to match heroes such as Zenith and Olympia seem to confirm this speculation. Apex is also an outspoken advocate against the Superhuman Registration Act and of releasing so called "political prisoners" such as the dangerous prisoner Abattoir. Mysterious and Elusive, Apex is generally considered to be one of the most dangerous superhumans in America and Public Enemy Number One.

But being named Pandora's Box means the prison is just asking to be opened haha. Good name though. A treacherous Fellowship Sorcerer is a pretty good idea and I can work with that pretty well.

Well the Awakening can cause lots of weird things to happen. Tree-people, talking monkeys, amorphous blobs, actual Jedi Knights. But if Aliens did show up, expect that to be a pretty earth-shattering arc. Not unlike any possible "Atlantis rises again" arc, *whistles*

Well Phantasm doesn't have superhuman senses. But unlike Phantom he actually trained himself extensively and his awareness of his surroundings has been elevated to the human limit. Phantom trying to charge and tackle him probably means she made a ton of noise before hand and as such he was able to hear her. If that's a big problem I can amend it.

EDIT: Actually I came up with a much better way to share villains. I'll post a Rogue's Gallery thread in the Gallery section and everyone can post villains there. Sound good?

Pariah's victims

"I won't need to do it twice if I keep you here."

The invisible Phantasm sounded amused, "You look pretty pleased with yourself, but you shouldn't underestimate the lengths to which Pariah will go. Nor should you underestimate us. Don't count your chickens before they hatch as they say." As he was speaking, the henchmen were steadily working on extricating the trainers from their imprisonment, with the trainers themselves helping along. Aquamarine had been eating away at the gunk and glue with her water powers before her body changed and she started to leak out of her prison as an animated stream of water. Frost chilled his bonds until they were frozen and henchmen started hacking away at it, the frozen gunk breaking apart as Frost started to remove himself.

Shocker had woken up and his electricity blackened the goo holding him down allowing him easier escape as he morphed into living lightning to break free. Sentinel had recovered and instead of re-engaging Apogee, he used his fine control in telekinesis to help his teammates break free, including Adamant who had morphed back to human form and changed back and started to cut through the gunk and Bulwark who flexed his superstrong muscles to break free. All in all the bulk of the training team would be back on their feet within under a minute.

As they were, Bastion's shield flickered more and more. The ambient heat generated didn't contribute all that much to breaking the shield as distance mitigated it's effects but every bit collected into a heat that was breaking down her shield, as Bastion did not construct her shield to block heat. Suddenly the shield fell altogether and the heroes rushed in. Bastion created a sphere around Colossus and fell back to the encircled bus, and lifted both back further down the street with dozens of remaining henchmen between the bus and the heroes.

Extrusion abandoned his net form and started combating Apogee, stretching out and swatting her with elongated limbs while the rest of the heroes began battling the henchmen who kept them pinned down with disciplined automatic weapons fire. Apogee grabbed one of Extrusion's limbs and swung around in a circle building up speed, Extrusion could barely do anything as he was lifted and disoriented and Apogee let him go and sent him sailing down the street and away from her. Zenith's cousin then dropped down to Earth and helped her teammates, cutting a swath through the henchmen. But the men held their ground and more force was needed to break the stalemate.

Trained combatant that he was, Phantasm should have heard the footsteps rapidly closing on him. Unfortunately for him it hadn't yet occurred to him what problems villain monologues incur. As such he had little warning before Phantom crashed into him. He was sent crashing to the ground and on the way he instantly pressed a button on his belt, which signaled two nearby henchmen to his position who then pointed rifles at Strix. On the ground Phantasm raised his knee several times in the general vicinity of where his opponent's torso would have been and attempted to flip over and reverse their positions.

Chrome raised a fist and swung at Changeling, hoping to throw him back before going in for another strike. He heard Furious coming and contrary to the teenager's opinion Chrome was much more than dumb muscle and he had been extensively briefed on all of the trainees. Including Furious. Pariah knew Furious's secret origins and had managed to access his medical files which detailed his powers. As such Chrome neither struck at Furious nor stood his ground. He sidestepped the charging hero with more speed than one would think possible for him and stuck out his foot seeking to cause Furious to fall to the ground. Afterwards Chrome would lift a heavy steel foot and press down on the prone hero with his weight, the weight not causing too much pain but acting as an inexorable force that would leave Furious with little if any chance to move or lift against.

Well in this setting, most magical types are specialists and learning the Art is an intensive process and doesn't guarantee you even have the power to become truly formidable as being a sorcerer also requires a certain level of inborn talent and power. So not everyone could be a Sorcerer and of those many of them can't be Uber-Wizards like Merlin or Gandalf. Let's all just get back to the thread and not bog down the CS thread with misunderstandings.

Actually there are eventually going to be arcs where the League will be asked to help design and oversee the project.

In my head the prison (which needs a good name) is going to be an Island Prison or Underground prison that has advanced technology and somewhat brutal guards that draws a lot of controversy due to being compared to Guantanamo Bay due to things like alleged civil rights violations, staff corruption, and illegal experiments. So basically Arkham yeah.

Though in the comics they always freaking break out no matter what Batman does so who knows :P

You can PM as it's more permanent and easier for me to reference than fishing through the OOC. Also the Rainmaker deal is wrapping up with Locust trying to escape and the training mission is reaching it's last stages.
