Everything looks mostly fine so far, the main thing is that his powers just need more concrete limitations, specifications, and maybe some energy costs. Also I'm wondering how one uses energy on energy, that needs to be explained. Stronger spells like reality warping or teleportation should have some significant costs. And I have to remind you that in this universe using lethal magic in cold-blood usually doesn't end well with the spellcaster, so keep that in mind.

Everything else looks good though.

And Poly and Yog being old hands at this thread they get the express lane in.
Ha I understand that reference :P

Like the IC said, this is always open newcomers are always welcome.

In the CS thread I mentioned that your character could be as young as 16 or 17 as long as there's a good explanation for it. Being almost kidnapped is certainly a good one. But to go with the more realistic tone, there are no kid heroes younger than that. Child endangerment and all that. Though there will be plot-points involving superpowered children just not as PCs.
CS is up with that, you guys can move your sheets over there.
Ok and CS is up, post your sheets there. It's linked through OOC.

At this time, I'd like to ask all players to refrain from things like Superhuman Strength, Durability, and Regeneration for new characters. Players can now play heroes, villains, vigilantes, and mercenaries of varying moralities. But try not to make your characters too high-powered, the last one is ambiguous I know but try and think of the power levels for superhumans you see on animated shows not comics.

Players can now control four characters

Site is being hinky however and not letting me post a new CS thread yet.
OOC is UP!

For some reason the site isn't letting me make a CS thread and that's where all the sheets would be going. If it isn't fixed before you happen to finish a sheet post it in the OOC until the CS thread does come up.

The League is a Sci-Fi and Urban Fantasy roleplay centering around the newly arrived Superheroes and examines the effects of the Awakening on the World at large. The players and their heroes have to learn to work together and become the heroes they need to be in order to defend the world against super-powered criminal gangs, metahuman terrorists, malicious supernatural entities, shadowy secret societies and many many more. Their performance in missions will decide if the League becomes a successful organization or crumbles into failure. And the decisions the characters make, in and out of costume will determine the course of history for better or worse as they progress through a series of 'Arcs' each with their own unique challenges, enemies, and choices. This roleplay is meant to be a 'realistic' take on fantastical elements such as superpowers and magic, and examines what might really happen in our world if godly power was invested in certain individuals. Players will create their character and have them grow as people during the course of their adventures.

Players will build relationships, acquire new gear, evolve their abilities, fight all kinds of enemies, develop their character, and discover just how much the Awakening changed everything. With sufficient players multiple scenarios can be run at the same time and these can range from full on super-powered battles to discreet investigations to diplomatic ventures and many more. Recruitment is unlimited and more players are always welcome. Eventually after the thread becomes better established the players will be allowed to take on the roles of other kinds of characters, from vigilantes working outside the system to mercenaries looking for profit to soldiers serving the government and even to villains pursuing their own agendas. One of the main focuses of this thread is world-building and it is my hope that with the help of the players a vibrant and thriving universe can be formed.

This current arc deals with the growing gang war between the mundane Chicago Outfit and it's one-time mob allies and their enemy Legion, a unified collection of supervillian street gangs and independent superhuman criminals lead by an unknown villain and with access to potent black magic. Their war is slowly spilling out into the streets and what the League does next may mean the effective end of organized crime throughout the Midwest or the rise of a terrible new criminal empire.

Excellent bio, all that time paid off.

Yeah I can see your point about the Central City Rogues, we can take them out plus it balances the mission more.

I'm thinking for the first mission we can use all six and then in the following arc we can switch out one or two of them for various tasks, with all six of them showing up again at pivotal moments. When the arc's concluded we can use one or two old characters but add in a new guy or guys too. Eventually we can just keep using old and new characters as we see fit. That way it keeps it fresh without having to constantly make new bios. Thoughts?
Kali noticed that when she put her hand on Alexa the tightly-wound mercenary seemed to relax a few degrees. This did not unduly surprise her but what did surprise was that she herself seemed to relax when she noticed Alexa was feeling calmer. Kali had always been good at making friends, but that was before all of them had died with her ship. She had got herself on Alexa's good side because it was beneficial to the mission and herself. And it was working on Alexa, but it was working on her too. She admitted she admired Alexa's straightforward approach in a way but she also knew that the enforcer's history and demeanor struck cords in the Huntress's heart. Yearnings to help the young woman. She was starting to care about Alexa, starting to feel camaraderie with her perhaps even some demented affection. It had been a while since her heart had been open like this. That confused the experienced mercenary somewhat and Kali tabled the thought for another time.

Kali nodded at Alexa's words and said, "We have the money to transfer to Pizora but there's no point in taking risks. If things go south, which they might then the objective is to extract Pizora and any intel he has so that we can interrogate him or examine the data later. This man is currently our only tangible lead on the Puppetmasters and we have to get this done right the first time. Kali examined their team and noted that they were mostly going through varying stages of excitement or nervousness. Arlius was mostly nervous but Kali got the sense of a deeply-embedded fortitude in the woman and from Kerr'Shal she sensed an easy confidence tempered by experience. As for herself this job was one of the more dangerous ones but she could handle it. Among them she was the one with the most leadership capability and as such she radiated an ambivalent certainty in their mission.

She thought Alexa's suggestion was sound and noted the woman had a strategic mind to her and wasn't just angry muscle, "Alexa has it down. She's an Adept and her potent abilities and Michael's fieldcraft should be enough to keep them alive through any ambush. Just the two of them won't intimidate Pizora into running off. I'll have scouted out the area already and if something goes down I'm prepared to wreak some havoc on them. Kerr'Shal and Arlius can provide support and suppressing fire along with me from their own positions though Arlius will be the one furthest removed from the action. Raze can get the drop on the enemy and bulldoze them with ease, with the four of us providing the distraction everyone should make it out ok. If nobody has nothing to add we can start moving now so we can set up before Michael meets the contact." Kali was one of the most experienced among them and she stood next to Alexa exuding subtle confidence and authority, hopefully quenching any potential rebuttal and communicating that Alexa's thoughts were sound.
