ChevDingo, It's an interesting idea but like I said before Timey-Wimey stuff will only come into play later. The idea of a mostly immortal being with no other powers isn't out of the question however there would be a few exceptions I'm keeping secret :P So Sam's idea would work.
Pixiiboo, Welcome to the thread its great to see someone new! I admit I'm not much of a League player :P But my cousins are and so are a lot of people I know. So you can play a yordle and I see two ways that can happen. One, a person is so infatuated with video-game yordles that when the Awakening happens they become one. Two, they come from a fictional reality that closely borders our own and they somehow crossed over. How does that sound?

Vibe and Fox nodded, Creeper giving Sand a thumbs up. Fox said, "That sounds good I guess. But if push comes to shove we might want to choose one. We'll see how this works out though." Vibe crossed his arms, "Yeah powers and skills are pretty much rock, paper, scissors. Balancing out the pairs is the best course of action." Fox, who still sat next to Gypsy and had an arm around her pursed her lips, "If we put some in the main ventilation system it should get the maximum coverage. Why don't we also use some of your special stuff and put it in the main water supply? It'll get anyone who takes a drink."
Vivi smiled at Ray and nodded, "That sounds good. Together the two of us can cover the most ground in the least amount of time. If we encounter anything, I have ways of persuading people," she laughed melodically and Vibe straightened out his collar, "Yeah I'm guessing I would pair with Gypsy and Creeper with Sand. My vibration powers and Gypsy's stealth powers would give us a lot of versatility and with Sand paired with Creeper you'll be a good melee team." Plus Vibe silently added, he wouldn't have to deal with Creeper. Creeper for his part jumped up and down and sidled up next to Sand smiling.
Fox spoke up again, "We have a few hours so maybe Sand can whip up more gas and knockout potion in the labs. Based on the old files, the Island has a dock where the old owner put boats. The Society probably put in a few boats maybe even a sub. I'm thinking Ray and I could get there the fastest and knock out any vessels. Let's go with Blue team for the two of us. For Gypsy and Vibe, Red Team and Sand and Creeper are Gold Team."
Vibe nodded, "Sounds good. So Blue Team knocks out any boats when the rest of us land in the jungle. Red and Gold knock out any jungle patrols and scavenge equipment and uniforms. We could hack into their radio network and listen in on comms. We leave the Javelin on remote control so Mister Terrific can pilot and give us fire support if it blows out. If we connect it to the mainframe we can use it to hack into any computer systems we find as well."
Fox said, "We scope out the place and find different entry points. There'll probably be a motor pool and we should knock out any vehicles to limit enemy mobility. Red Team should find the security room, we take it over and use the cameras to our advantage, knock out any automated defenses too. That way they can probably spot the anti-transporter device. Gold Team sets up the gas, finds and disables any other armories, and generally finds out ways to sabotage the enemy while Blue Team tries to gather any intel we can. Who knows the Society might have some info that could be useful."
Vibe continued, "If our cover is blown we should find a way to cut the power. Livewire can travel through any electronics and she's probably the most dangerous one there. If we get in trouble we should regroup, but knocking out the anti-transporter is priority so we can knock over the place easier." Vibe looked around at the people he'd be walking into this mission with. He was placing his life in their hands. He looked at Creeper and sighed, "Any other ideas?"

Yog, I agree really. Unless the Iron Man expy does things in a sufficiently different way.
I'm curious how the paper-power would work. If it's just control of paper.... that's a little useless. Or some kind of supernatural paper motif I guess.

Abysse, Everything that happened before the Awakening happened in the real world but post Awakening the last few years were different. You could probably write small stuff happening because of the Awakening in different countries but nothing like "China completely collapsed" or "Israel was overrun" kinda stuff. Big geopolitical events would actually be determined by the players.
Sam, No it was a great post, just that when I wrote the mandrakes leaked fluid from their eyes I was implying that was a weakpoint.
That Lovefist tho. Just saying after a few years of fighting crime I'm pretty sure you'd shave some pounds :P
