If we can condense the space the storm occupies down to a size small enough for us to contain and transport back into Existence, we can contain it reliably until the storm dissolves, and leaves behind what we are looking for. Without endangering anyone else.

I believe it may be useful for you to be a temporary vessel for her upon extraction, but I also believe it may be possible... Yes, possible to acquire her without going into the storm.

Pulling something already so elusive as a soul out of anything is already really difficult. I don’t know if we can remove one from a storm such as this.

No no, nothing like that. I believe that the storm has torn her body to shreds and left no trace, but for some reason has trapped her very soul within. Perhaps a horrible fate, but should rescue be possible, a blessing in disguise. I’m not even sure a soul would survive traversal to an afterlife through the Outside, so she could have been doomed to nonexistence.

No, not in what I included. It was a number of scanners, and I rigged it up to kind of cheat the unpredictability of getting readings in the storm. At least hopefully. The fact that results are returning at all is good, but-
*One singular reading changes to affirmative and I stop and look at it silently*
