@Jozarin Any idea interest you? I had another thought involving my character being turned into an offering to a drider or naga character to keep the village from being harmed.

So the male character finds a woman, either after an attack by bandits, or during a storm, and decides to take care of her, thinking he might be able to get something special out of it ;). Eventually, the two seem to hit it off.
