History

The Reason You Chose To Join The Atlantis Project: "Why was I chosen? I guess I solved some kind of physics problem that everyone had a really hard time that they couldn't solve I guess?"
History: Cassandra was born to a pretty poor family they lived in a cheap two room apartment, she had to share her room with two other siblings a younger sister and an older brother. Growing up her family had a very hard time just trying to get by with what they had, both of their parents were working two jobs leaving her older brother to take care of his two sisters. But Cassandra was also able to help out a lot as well to take care of their younger sister. During school however Cassandra was very smart, more so then the other kids in her class.

By high school Cassandra was taking college level courses, she always had a knack for engineering as well as physics by the time she graduated Cassandra had quiet a few scholarships that was offered to her. Cassandra chose to go to MIT where she flourished getting the best grades of her class, she chose to major in physics and engineering as her majors. She was in the process of getting her next degree when she solved a certain problem that caught the eye of the SGC. And instantly she took the job and didn't regret her choice at all, and thought it would be interesting as well.

"That's what I was thinking, they seem to be pretty swamped with the others congratulating them." Riley said softly as she ran a hand through her hair for a moment, she blushed slightly when Amelia complimented on her singing she never did take any singing lessons growing up or when she first started. She had slight lessons here and there to refine it after she started getting bigger, but other than that singing just came natural to her without having any assistance. "I'm free pretty much after my duties so whenever you'd like to listen i'm free after that." Riley answered as her attention went towards the bar area, seeing one of the security guys making his way over to Ashton and whispering into his ear. She wasn't sure what it was all about, but at the moment it didn't seem like it was really any of her business Riley shook her head when Amelia asked her a question.

"After the whole reception?" Riley asked, as she thought she didn't really have anything planned unless of course someone did require her services after that. "Honestly, not sure if they need me I guess help clean up things here or just go back to my place and chill for the evening." Riley answered, she then noticed as the people started to get in line to get their food she looked at Amelia. "Lets go and grab some food." Riley said, she saw Chloe waving back at her still standing with Ryan most of the time Riley cringed whenever he got to close to her sister. She imagined that at some point Ryan might do something Chloe doesn't like and she would end up slapping him across the face.

She stood up from the table feeling her stomach starting to growl some more Riley grabbed herself a plate and got in line right next to Victor, Riley gave a smile towards him and gave the resident head doctor a friendly nudge with her elbow. "Hows it going doc?" Riley asked, she didn't talk much to him or hang out with him.

Ray looked at Beatrice for a moment, he started to get the feeling that she didn't like their little display of affection for one another and made a note to not do it as much in front of her when he is with Tiffany. "Not a whole lot either just enjoying the wedding is all." Raymond answered giving a slight shrug, he was really happy for Jack and being his best man. Raymond looked over at the buffet that was set up once more he saw that people were getting in line already for their food. "I'm going to get some food i'll be right back. You two keep talking." Ray said and kissed Tiffany on the cheek. Ray grabbed his crutch, it took him two tries before finally getting up onto his good foot and made his way towards the growing line. Moving around with one leg had been really hard for the last year for him, but he managed to get around just fine on his own.

As Ray got into line he looked back at Tiffany he was happy to have her, and didn't regret losing a leg because of it but he did worry not seeing her again whenever she had to go for a run. Shaking the thought out of his head as Ray looked over he saw Riley standing in line next to him and Froggy as well, Ray got along really well with Froggy and enjoyed spending the time with the man. "How are you two doing?" Ray asked Riley looked at Ray and smiled at him as well. "I'm well thanks." She answered him.

Kristina looked at Thana when she mentioned her sister, though it wasn't her position to bring it up she assumed that there was some sort of bad blood between Zoie and Thana. Which was most likely a reason why Zoie never mentioned Thana in the first place while she was alive in Newnan. Kristina waved goodbye to Ashton and Thana as the two headed off towards the buffet that was set up for everyone. She watched as Froggy turned and made his way towards the food station, which she just realized that she didn't even say hi to him when she initially came over to say hi to Tatiana, Thana and Jack. Which she didn't mean to do Kris sort of just got carried away with wanting to congratulate the newlyweds Kris decided to go and hang out with Froggy a little bit later on in the evening and see how he was doing. Kristina turned her attention towards Jack when he answered her question and giggled slightly at his answer.

"So are you and Mrs. Newnan going to have kids anytime soon?" Kristina asked teasingly, though she probably knew the answer she didn't want to have a child either in this world and have to raise it in a world that was more like a real life horror movie now. Kristina saw Tatiana coming back seeing her carrying a bag she started to wonder what it was that Tatiana was holding in it. She walked over and gave Tatiana another loving hug. "Welcome back!" Kris said happily. "What do you have there?" Kristina asked, getting curious what Tatiana had gone to grab,

Anthony said jokingly as he leaned forward he did get his interest perked slightly when he mentioned that there was something that he could do. "Well what did you have in mind then?" Riley nodded as the 911 operator gave her instructions, she looked over at Felix as the orderlies were at work trying to stop the bleeding. She felt bad for Felix and hoped that he would make it through she entered the room and made her way over towards Marc as he escorted Cynthia over to a nearby chair. Then she heard another voice in the room which Riley turned around seeing Jaina which she assumed was another patient here. "Ah great another crazy." Riley muttered to herself she listened to Cynthia when she mentioned that Felix had dropped the knife that Marc had given him earlier back at her apartment. Riley knew if it would have been left here most likely one of the patients would find it, and it would turn out really badly for anyone who had it.

She started looking around the room she looked at Felix and gave him a slight smile. "You will be just fine Felix." Riley said trying her best to reassure him and keep the guy calm as she started to kneel down looking under bookshelves and furniture for the knife. Riley would occasionally look over at the new girl that had just came into the room. She wasn't sure what to think of her, was the crazy girl going to run up to her and attack, or hurt Marc or Felix she wasn't sure.

Riley still remained on the phone until the ambulance arrived at the scene she looked one of the bookshelves and found the knife there, she reached under it and managed to pull the knife out from under the bookshelf. Riley slipped the knife in her pocket and made her way to Felix just to make sure he would be alright doing her best to try and not stare at the wound as the orderlies put pressure over it.

Lauren closed her eyes letting out a slight yawn as she leaned back in the chair, she then heard Vera once more which she opened them again looking at Lady Munn as she woke up. She quickly stood up making her way over towards the tray that the steward had left for them earlier, Lauren grabbed the bottle of aspirin taking two of them. Lauren started pouring a glass of water for Vera and made her way back towards the bed sitting back down on the chair. "You had about four glasses or so before you started to get intoxicated." Lauren said, as she handed the glass of aspirin and water to her. "Just take it easy, try not to move to sudden." Lauren instructed to Vera, running a hand through her hair she turned her attention back to Vera.

"We are in one of the delegates rooms in the barracks, I helped you into the room once they had set it up for you." She said with a soft smile, Lauren then started to wonder what it was that Vera had been dreaming about just moments prior from before when she had suddenly woken up. "I was wondering, were you dreaming at all because a few minutes again you had woken up and said. 'Run, run, run, got to be speedy.' It did look like some kind of nightmare do you remember any of it?" Lauren asked her.

But seeing Vera was starting to deal with her hangover, Lauren knew that her memory wouldn't be the best. She did have a feeling that it was somehow related to the nightmares that she had been dealing with along with everyone else that was in the group at the museum where they had met the others just a few hours ago in Vera's office.
