"If that did happen I think your dad would have some kind of really bad argument with Diana, or a lover really pissed him off or something." Madalyne said with a slight laugh, she walked down the road, seeing Terminus occasionally stopping someone for a weapons check, and Julia holding that bin as well. She continued to make her way down the road, seeing the Senate building in front of them Madalyne didn't really see herself being a leader, though she did lead her cohort pretty well. Then she saw the small building off to the side, where Camp Jupiter's Augur usually stayed.

"So, anyone met the augur before?" She asked, Madalyne heard stories of the previous one Octavian who had nearly destroyed the Greek Camp a couple of years ago. She then opened the door, the room was fairly barren though there was an alter at the center of the room with several stuffed animals there who had been gutted pretty brutally. "Well someone really likes gutting stuffed animals.." Madalyne said awkwardly, when she looked over the alter and noticed the augur was asleep.

It was a couple of hours, Kristin played a few rounds with Leda to pass the time but she ended up taking a little nap at some point as well, there wasn't much anything else you could do. When the bus driver announced that they were going to be taking a rest stop, just outside of Richmond Virginia. It was around six thirty in the evening now as well, once they were at the rest stop area Kristin quickly got out of the bus to stretch out her legs a little bit and yawned.

"I'm going to go to the restroom." Kristin said, as she started to follow the other people over to where the restrooms were. Over in the distance, Leda and Zeke would be able to see a small herd of horses not to far from the rest stop there was a small pasture for them as well. They looked like normal horses for the most part as well, and just eating some grass nearby there were around eight of them in all.

Madalyne was sipping from her hot chocolate and smiled towards Niah giving her friend a nod, she'd do just about anything for her friends and anyone she'd considered family. She almost choked slightly when Nancy made Niah an oath to not set foot in Las Vegas, or any kind of casino. They never spoke about what happened there to anyone really, and she didn't intend to at the moment, though she trusted Niah and considered her a friend. She just really didn't want to reveal all of that information and dump it all out on her either, as Madalyne finished up her hot chocolate and set the cup down.

"Lets just hope that some random disease doesn't force this place to shut down. Anyway lets head out." Madalyne said looking at Nancy again, she wasn't sure if Nancy would tell Niah what had happened there or not but she stood up and stretched slightly. Madalyne made her way out of the coffee shop. She stuffed her hands into her pockets and waited for her two friends to leave the store and head over to the Auguries.

Kristin flopped herself down in the back seat, choosing to pick a window seat for herself and started to take off her backpack, she lightly touched where the manticore's spikes had hit her. Luckily the nectar kicked in pretty quickly, otherwise she'd be in a whole lot of pain and probably passed out for several hours as well. Kristin looked towards Leda for a moment, she certainly wouldn't mind playing a game to pass the time pretty quickly. "I'd be down." Kristin said, giving Zeke a little bit of a look for a moment when he declined to play the game and smirked a little bit. "I'll go first."

"Fuck, marry or kill Zeke?" Kristin asked, even though Zeke wasn't an Olympian god, she wanted to just jab a little fun at him as well since he had declined to play their little game. The bus was filled rather quickly and once everyone had boarded the bus it started to leave the Greyhound station. Zeke would feel his phone going off, with a text from Rosie, the camp's oracle usually the one to give out prophecies for quests.

"So, your dad gave me a vision, which I know you already had set out for. 'A child of wisdom, healing, and the rainbow, to aide the god of medicine and music, to win a competition, must find the missing muse.'"

"I'll buy you a whole truck load of combs just for you, for Christmas." Callie said jokingly, she remembered Sage being their inside man with the Hellfire Club, but not to much on her really though. And with Havok suddenly leaving and Veil answering that she hadn't sent him out anywhere. She probably figured it was something personal or some kind of family thing, they could have really used him, but she understood if something important did come up. She did perk up a little bit though that they had some kind of mission to go on finally and nodded towards her.

"Five people got it, text me whatever you have and we will head out." Callie said, she then felt the temperature in the room drop slightly looking at Sapphire, there was something going on but she knew that Veil could help her better than she could. Callie quickly left the room, and walked through the foyer, Feedback having gone out of the room already and to get the others she pulled out her phone and started to send Glimpse a text on her phone.

"Hey, we got a mission right now, and could use you."

Callie hit send and made her way into the dining room to get something to eat real quick seeing Sunshine there and smiled. "Got a mission, if you are up for it." Callie said, Sunshine she enjoyed her company and knew that she could be useful to.

"Sure thing you guys." Madalyne said as she quickly got up from where she was sitting and made her way over towards the front counter and ordered their three drinks, before coming back to the others. She slid over Niah's and Nancy's drink, before sitting down looking over at Niah and smiled towards her friend. "I would be honored to go with you on your quest." Madalyne said and looked towards Nancy for a moment, she did have a point outside of the camp grounds they were always constantly in danger. She took a sip from her hot chocolate looking at the two of them, she didn't like all of the red tape either in order to go out on a quest. But then again it was also for the camps security as well she guessed.

"Then lets go to the Auguries after we finish our drinks, the quicker we get things going the sooner we can get this quest done and over with as well. All of the red tape is really annoying to." Madalyne said, she was a little bit excited to get out of camp for a little while, and leave her duties to her other centurion as well she gave Niah a slight smile and nodded towards her. She was pretty confident in her magical abilities that they could handle things to.

Madalyne ordered herself a hot chocolate, and then looked over towards Nancy and Niah. "What do you guys want?" She asked, as Madalyne leaned back in her seat. "So, we should maybe question one of the fauns around camp, maybe one of it's buddies knew the one who took it?" She said, as Madalyne rubbed the back of her neck slightly. "It's probably Smaug from The Hobbit or something, since he had a huge hoard of treasure in his mountain." Madalyne said jokingly, as she waited for their drinks to come over to them looking over at Niah who asked about whos to go on the quest.

"Well, usually whoever is the one who got issued a quest gets to pick the two who goes with him or her." Madalyne said as she ran a hand through her hair slightly, she really did want to get out of the camp for a bit and go on a quest. It would actually be her first quest since being in Camp Jupiter as well. "Did you have anyone in mind anyway?" Madalyne asked Niah.

Once the dust settled the tip of the manticore's tail dropped to the ground, Kristin looked at Zeke for a moment and winced as she yanked out the two poisonous spikes and threw them onto the ground. She was still in a bit of pain, but she took out her bottle of nectar and took a sip from it before putting it away for now. "Yeah, i'm fine." Kristin said, as she walked over and knelt down picking up the part of the tail watching Zeke doing his thing. "You guys did awesome." She said, as Kristin headed over towards Leda and offered the manticore's tail to her, since she was the one to actually kill the monster. "Since you killed it, should be yours." Kristin said softly.

The busses were starting to load up now, the crowd of people who were there were mostly gone now but it would be a good time for them all to get onto the bus now. "We really should get going." Kristin said, they would need to get there as soon as possible, they only had a few days left before Apollo's competition.

The manticore was still dazed from Zeke's attack, however it managed to get a better look now seeing the closest demigod was Leda and quickly tried to swipe at her with it's massive claws. Though it missed, but its claw managed to tear at Leda's shirt pretty easily, and it shot out more spikes from it's massive tail. Luckily no one got hit by any of the spikes, Kristin slowly got back up to her feet a little bit, groaning loudly in pain. Kristin pulled her bracelet off which turned into her spear and ran forward, despite her being in a lot of pain at the moment and felt like she was on the verge of passing out.

Kristin managed to hit it on the shoulder cutting the hide slightly, looking over at Leda and Zeke for a moment. "Either aim for it's tail or stomach that should take it down." Kristin said to them, as the manticore swiped at Kristin sending her down onto the ground, and slowly got back up to her feet again. The crowd in the bus depot started to scatter seeing three kids holding weapons, they were scared now at this point as well.
