Biography
 Bang is a particularly simple person. He hails from a small home in Virginia, where he initially attended school before taking boxing classes. As he took boxing classes, he discovered that his physical limits were able to be pushed to admirable heights. Though he did not believe that he would be able to participate amongst prodigies who were either stronger or smarter than him, both his friends and family believed that he would be able to attend a school that better fit his boxing prowess.

Before his parents decided on which school they would send him to, Bang trained and continued to raise the bar of his strength. Though his intelligence was slightly above-average, his fists proved to make him a potential candidate in not only boxing, but also as a fighter in general. During a temporary visit at Japan, after several performances against highly-skilled boxers much older than himself, his parents discovered just the right school for him to enter.

The Hybrid Academy proved to be quite different from what Bang was used to live with. Though he certainly did not think that he would be shooting around fireballs like a Dragon Ball character any sooner, he decided to choose it as the school he had been looking for. Whether or not he made the right choice is up to his decisions during his years at the school.

Personality
 Straightforward and furiously aggressive in working towards goals he wants to accomplish, Bang has little to win and little to lose. Raised within a very gentle town, he lacks the cruelty to randomly use his own strengths against the defenseless, yet he is willing to face those who challenge him. He has a very dumb sense of humor and speaks up mostly when he needs to. He has a partial fear of heights that he has already overcome before joining the academy. Bang seems to enjoy interacting with unique people, but does not seem to hate others for being bland or average. He, however, dislikes bland objects or characters in fictional media for some odd reason.

He looks up to Magicians and Espers. Strangely enough, he does not have a great sense of justice, making him not the most ideal choice for a hero that could furiously work to face those who harm the innocent. When trouble is brought up to his face, he will usually respond with either his words or his fists.
