Sangue Naga - Lunch

"..."

Sangue observed Lauren carefully, then decided to keep silent. She gave a small nod at Lauren's statement, and though she wanted to cheer her up somehow, Sangue had to keep in mind that cheering people up was the last thing her confidence could drive her to do well in.

The red-haired swordswoman looked up to her side, only to find her team leader, Benjamin Lloyd, sitting next to them.

"Hello, Ben," Sangue greeted, her idle tone never fazing. She did feel happy that her team leader popped up. The more teammates that were around her, the better she felt, for some reason; especially of the leader himself was around, as that meant the team would be more prepared for sudden situations that occur out-of-the-blue.

Hearing that Amaranth was doing well, Sangue's concern for Amaranth's health turned into a longing to see the Faunus. Though Sangue did not know much about Amaranth aside from knowledge she acquired from brief conversations between her teammates, she still considered her teammates' healthy conditions to be a higher priority over any mission.

It was a shame that she did not know how to transfer the thought into a message without making it sound like a formal speech.

The red-haired woman glanced at Ben's food, then at her food. Then she took a look at Lauren's food, then at Ben's food, and then her own again.

"..."

Sangue carefully took another bite out of her pizza.

The red-haired swordswoman nodded, her idle expression remaining in place. "She is a strong person," Sangue agreed.

As she bit off another piece from her pizza, the woman stared at her food for a brief moment. She seemed to be pondering on something, though she did not seem to have any intentions on speaking her mind to the world. Instead, she assured Lauren, "I have the notes. It was not hard." But truthfully, the only reason why she was able to take notes was because a paper ball that came out of nowhere to save her hide.

With a bit of backbone, the woman asked Lauren, "You are... feeling okay, right? If... you feel unhealthy, then do not hesitate... to go to the infirmary."

Sangue liked talking to Lauren. The dark-haired woman just screamed "friendly" to her, so it was hard for Sangue to shrug her off, especially considering her fondness for nice people.

She then wondered when Ben would eventually pop back up. Though, she did not mind if Ben stayed with Amaranth for the Faunus's sake.

Ryuu caught the rope. Huzzah! Now he would live!

Or not.

Because even though he did catch the rope, the damn tides were just making it hard for him to move at all. He spat out a mouthful of salt water. Though his eyes were able to handle salt water pretty well due to his experience of getting dumped into a beach by his "friends" countless of times, no human was able to consume salt water without risking death through errors that occur within his or her organs.

"Take your time!" Ryuu initially shouted before turning.

He saw the sea snake moving towards him.

"NEVER MIND! HURRY UP! OH CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!"

The sea snake did not eat him, but it... surrounded him. And it was circling him pretty freaking quickly.

What the hell?! What's it doing?!

The dark-haired man who no longer had his sunglasses with him grit his teeth as he held the rope tighter. Whatever that happened depended on several factors from what he could tell: the blue-haired woman (who was hot), the merwoman (who was also hot), the boat (which had some hot peeps), and the sea snake (which was definitely not hot no matter how you looked at it). The otaku held his breath and hoped that Rain did something, considering how the snake was now blocking his way. He raised his hand as high as he could.
Sangue Naga - Lunch

Sangue blinked in surprise after having her fascination with pizza stumble due to her teammate, Lauren. She looked at the pizza, then at Lauren, then at the BLT, and then at the pizza again.

Sangue looked up, returning to her idle expression quickly as she stated, "This pizza... thing... is very cheesy. And these pepperoni things are kind of greasy.

"I think... it's good."

She glanced at the pizza before looking up again. "How... is Amaranth doing?"

Sangue Naga - Lunch

She succeeded in defeating the devious History class thanks to a trusty paperball that flew out of nowhere and her will to stay awake.

With that in mind, Sangue popped into the cafeteria faster than her teammates. At the moment, she was focused on keeping up with her schedule as much as possible so that she would not fall into the temptation of chatting with her teammates and start forgetting things again.

The red-haired woman walked into the cafeteria. Again. Another day, another lunch. She needed to fill herself with food; she saw food more as sources of survival rather than "tasty treats." The cafeteria's food was not half bad, anyway.

So Sangue decided to encounter a new food she had never eaten before.

Pizza.

She got a pepperoni pizza and walked to a table by herself. Placing her tray on the table with her only arm, Sangue slowly sat down and stared at the food.

And thus began her battle of calculations against pizza.

There were some people eating pizza with their hands, but some were using their cutlery to eat it piece-by-piece. As much as Sangue wanted to eat it piece-by-piece, that seemed like a hard task to do since she only had one arm. She was definitely not going to start swinging her Claw in the middle of the cafeteria just to smash apart a pepperoni pizza.

So she picked the pizza up with one hand and bit a piece off of it.

"..."

Though her idle expression did not faze, her eyes glowed (figuratively) as she bit off another piece. Pizza seemed interesting; like pasta, it was different from the foods she usually ate back when she lived alone.
