I posted a new IC! It has lost of action, but not much description yet. I am definitely getting a good feel of the RP though. I should start writing good descriptive posts after 2 or 3 more.

Glasslands, New Va'sen hive

After many hours of travel, the Val'gasra nomads finally found sanctuary. A large ruined city with many towering buildings and many smaller ones, ripe for the taking. Queen Va'sen senses that the flooding has finally stopped, and that outsiders are near. She takes a few steps back, rearing up and bellows a cry of joy, to show other hives nearby that they are finally safe. "Visagel, nisegan vesilathan. Jianskell muigen. JES NI'BAS!" She yells to her brood, the Val'gasra creatures cheer in happiness. "Jes ni'bas! Jes ni'bas! Jes ni'bas!!!" they chant.

Queen Je'gell finally lay on her new throne. It had been many weeks since she had sat on a throne. "Vigeslian, shisen kielsga malkan." A creature tells her. "You know I can't speak much ve'gethsan... Just tell me through outsider's tongue. This is such a curse, how was I born this way." she says. "we find outsider ton close near hom. shod we kew?" the creature asks in a very broken English. "Fine. Go send some brood. You can lead the group." she says, waving the creature away.

Glasslands, outland outskirts

"We will find new lands and conquer the outsider's territory! We will bring our masters back and we will take control of this world! We will return to our masters, no matter what it takes! Fight with me my children, fight for your masters, your brothers, your sisters, and your Queen! We leave at once, and fight through the outlands to breach the outsider's land. If we die, then make a mark in outsider history! This war will be one no living creature will forget! Go, and claim new settlements as our own. Our empire grows stronger!" Queen Vi'lan announces to her brood as they cheer through her speech. Attacking the outsider's territory was a stupid idea, she knew. But her strategy, tactics, leadership and convincing ability always got her through her troubles. But this would be her biggest one yet.

What seemed to be hours of trekking through the god forbidding plains, and still no sign of green land. Radiation was higher here, which the eggs and larvae that were being carried gladly began feasting uppon. The other creatures loved the smell of it, but this place did not have good enough prey, and was nowhere near outsider civilization.

"Gisan vala! Gisan vala!" A ravager shouted, peering into the dark eyes of some creature atop of a spire of rocks. The creature hissed and howled at them, but knew it was outnumbered and fled. "This place is dangerous. Keep close eye on each other, and keep the brood safe. We are close to the outlands now..." Queen Vi'lan warns her brood.

Three ravagers, twelve reavers and nine scavengers have been lost to the creatures of this place already, and the hive has just entered the outland core. Greenery can be seen, but barely in view, as if miles away. More fighting starts and the howls and shrieks of Val'gasra creatures death wavers through from evening to dusk. "We have lost many, but do not let the fallen discourage you, we are close. We cannot go on through the night. The creatures here are too dangerous during daylight, so night must be worse. Dig a small burrow. We rest until daylight.

Glassland outskirts, *3 miles from Xanathan influence*

The final day here in this forbidden nightmare, even for the Val'gasra, this place is living hell. More than a thousand deaths by the powerful creatures here, and hardly a hundred of the Vi'lan hive is left. "We have lost many, and possibly many more, but we must not give up. If we cannot cross, who will? We must fight on. For our masters, for our species! We move out, for the greater good of our kind!" Queen Vi'lan tries. But her hive is not near convinced. The amount of losses have been too high, and with the other leaders dead, she has no support left. "If you want to go back, be my guest, fight through those beasts without me. I will build a new hive, even if I must do so myself!" she roars at them. Her former hive digs holes in the ground and decide to house themselves here. "Fine." The Queen spat as she turns to leave. Moral just isn't in her favor right now, and it seems her hive has been disconnected from the hive mind. We are too far from the hive to hear its voice. 'Overlord, are you there? ....... Overlord! "No... I cannot hear my sisters. They are gone. Why did I not see this sooner? This really was a mistake. Why did I come here?" The Queen questions herself, not realizing greenery is only a few hundred steps away. She continues to wander, lost in her thoughts.

Xanathan influence, New Vi'lan hive

New brood has been born, and Queen Vi'lan's wounds have started to heal. She has started to feel like a newborn Queen all over again. No underlings to annoy her, nobody to talk too and not even the comfort of the other Queens minds to communicate with. She is alone with her tiny hive and brood. She knows she can't fight the outsiders here. Not yet. She might die here, because she walked straight into the hornets nest with nothing to fight them with, and no way to turn back.

I know my first IC post is short and not very detailed, but it will get better as I progress through the RP. I do not know much of what happened so far, and I will need time to adjust to the setting. Then, my posts will be of higher quality and detail.

Glasslands, Va'sen Hive outskirts

"GOAR VAS!" shouted a Val'gasra ravager, as it smashed into a human structure. Screaming and chaos sturred in the neutral human settlement as Val'gasra creatures crashed through buildings and slaughtered the settlers. "RA'THAN SHASLAN!" another ravager bellowed as it ripped a human soldier in half. More reavers grabbed, slashed and stabbed the civilians and scavengers ripped and tore through human flesh. The humans desperately trying to escape and survive as the raid progressed. Within a few minutes, the settlement was no more than rubble and bloodshed. Only 12 scavengers and 8 reavers died here, but human losses were higher. All the corpses of both human and Val'gasra and the survivors were dragged off back to the hive, leaving the settlement to burn. Some Val'gasra noticed a few survivors running for the hills in search of help, but the Val'gasra paid no attention to them.

The Val'gasra was preparing to move again. Alarmed by the rate of the flooding has changed their behaviors from stationary settlers to nomadic travelers. Their environment was becoming inhospitable, and soon they would need to move to the outsider's land to survive if the flooding kept up. The hives moved every week or so, which tired out the Queens and made them stressed and agitated. Most of the hives sentient creatures were afraid to so much as look at the Queens at this point. Brood and prey were being moved and carried to the entrance of the hive now. The hive was hardly infested, which has been affecting the health of the brood negatively. They were moving so frequently that the workers didn't even bother to cover the interior. The hive gathered to make the next move, the Queen did not want to leave, but after some major convincing, the Queen finally submitted and climbed off her throne and proceeded to move to the next settlement location.

@Circ? Where is everyone situated? Can I see a map with dots for settlements? It would help me get an understanding of the environment and the players.

I know. I can't think of anything with those too. I am better with a robotic race, but I would prefer a non-humanoid. The closest thing to humanoid I can think of is Monsterous humanoid. I work well with those.

Val'gasra hive

The Val'gasra hive are humanoids that have made excessive contact with the Val'gara virus and mutated into a mass of horrors. Fleshed beings that hate all that is not contaminated by the Val'gara blight. Most of these creatures are not contagious, and many cannot multiply. Instead, they drag other creatures to their hives and mutate them with their contaminated structures, and assimilate them into their hive mind. They idolize the Val'gara, as they have the same goals and desires that the Val'gasra have. The Val'garon is slightly different from the Val'gasra. This second species are brute-like, savage and primal. They are not created through mutation, but birth and rituals that involve flesh and blood sacrifice. Most of these creatures attack hard and are sturdy, while others out-smart their prey and murder them, and the rest assassinate and mutilate their victims. The Val'gasra hive seek only destruction, suffering, and ruin.

Races:

Val'gasra

Description: The Val'gasra are creatures that have made excessive contact with the Val'gara virus and have mutated into fleshy horrors and abominations. These creatures are controlled by the central mind, known as the Va'sara. The Va'sara wishes to expand its control over Africa and secure it so the Val'gara can take control of it so they may take over earth. The Val'gasra may not be the Val'gara, but they have the same intentions.

Val'gasra doctrine

Reavers

Description: Reavers are among the least mutated creatures. They are nimble, sleek and thin. They appear as humanoids that have been touched by their mutagen. Having tendrils attached to their backs and their bodies covered and converted to a pinkish-red color, as if their skin had been peeled off. Muscle tissue and parts of bone are visible. Some of these creatures seem to still have control over their voices, crying for mercy and wishing for death to end their eternal suffering.

General appearances:

Flesh ravager

Description: Similar to Flesh reavers, these creatures are stronger than Reavers, as one or more are attached to each other to create a horrific behemoth of destruction and chaos. Bone-tipped tendrils are attached to its back and chest, many clawed hands and arms to grab at prey and multiple heads, filled with teeth to rip and tear through flesh, the Flesh ravager is one of the strongest attackers, but have little to no natural armor, making them easier to kill, but increases their speed.

General Apperance:

Glassland prowler

Description: These small, nimble creatures hunt in groups of 2-5 in dark or small spaces. They assassinate their prey with great precision and skill. Their long claws can slice through flesh like a hot knife through butter. Each can slaughter groups of 10, or two can take down a small vehicle, if placed in the correct hiding place. They hide in small gaps or hidden places, and lunge out to attack at the correct moments, normally when their prey has let their guard down, or is unaware of their presence.

General apperance:

The contaminated

Description: The contaminated are weaker, but infectious versions of the reavers. They carry an infectious strain of the virus. The virus they carry can contaminate objects touched by them or their fluids for 5-9 hours. If a contaminated touches a flesh wound, that area of the host becomes infected with the infection.

Infection:

Initial infection: A flesh wound becomes contaminated with the infection.

10-40 minutes: if the wound is not cleaned, the infection cannot be prevented and becomes permanent.

4-9 hours after infection: the host will begin to cough, sneeze and have difficulty breathing.

5-10 hours after infection: the host will become contagious and can infect others by coughing or sneezing on a non-infected subject, and can contaminate objects that are touched.

11-14 hours after infection: the host will begin to cough and vomit a puss-like liquid. Sneezing subsides and coughing intensifies.

16-19 hours after infection: the host will begin to hear the voices of the Val'gasra hive mind, and begin to become insane.

22-38 hours after infection: the host will enter consistent seizures, trauma, pain, and nerve flayers (jolts of pain). There is a 35% chance of the host turning into a contaminated alive. These contaminated are healthier and more durable, but is easily noticed and can be dealt with.

23-47 hours after infection: the host will begin total organ failure, resulting in heart failure, lung failure, brain failure, liver failure, e.g.

24-48 hours after infection: the host's brain will be shut down, and the host's body will die.

48-72 hours after death: the host's body has a 50% chance of reanimating into new contaminated.

Flesh golem

Description: These hulking masses are the heavy tankers for the Val'gasra. Loads of health and damage, but pay for that with their speed and intellect. Strong and tough, but stupid and slow, these creatures are difficult to take down and are immune to blunt weapons. They have two massive arms that end with large club-like shapes, and two smaller arms that can grab things and slash at prey with their freakishly long claws. Their two legs are as thick as tree trunks and 5-10 large tendrils that have bone barbs and a large bone blade that is the size of a broad-sword at the end of each tendril.

Val'garon

Info: The Val'garon are humanoids and beasts that have mutated into the strongest of the Val'gasra hive. These large creatures were built for war and live for the hunt. The smallest and weakest among them use tricks and illusions to manipulate their prey and victims into killing each other, luring them into traps and killing themselves to weaken or avoid a fight and still get the boon. While larger and stronger creatures charge into battle or assassinate their prey.

Val'garon doctrine

Scavanger

Description: Scavengers are medium-sized weak creatures that swarm their enemies. They are like war hounds and workers for the Val'gasra hive. They brutally kill their foes and destroy everything they can during a fight. After a battle, they drag any survivors back to the closest hive to be eaten by others or mutated into new Val'gasra horrors.

General Appearance:

Gorgon

Description: These medium creatures are no bigger than an average human, but their size can trick their enemies into underestimating it. They are fast, smart and tough. A few bullets can put it down, but their damage, speed, and intellect makes up for it. These creatures do not leave bodies on the battlefields, eating them or dragging them back to the hives. Each Gorgon varies in appearance, but they generally have multiple legs, arms, tendrils and have large teeth filled maws. They normally do not have functioning eyes, and sometimes no eyes at all. They rely on their blind sense instead. A small organ near their brain allows them to sense any living creature nearby and allows it to identify each other. They can even sense creatures through solid material, but they can only sense things within a 4-10 foot radius around them, and because of this, they are rarely successfully ambushed or assassinated.

Mind snare

Description: The Mind snares are among the sentient beings of the Val'gasra hive. They act as commanders, building mini hives or outposts and rule them. They build and create differently, using an infectious fluid they create, which hardens to build the wall material. This fluid is a reddish-yellow color, and smells like vomit. They can spit their fluid on a host to contaminate them. If a flesh wound is contaminated, it can infect them and eventually turn them into The Contaminated. The Mind snare also has a long, sharp ended tail, which they stab or restrain their prey. The Mind snares strongest weapon is their tendrils. They extend their tiny tendrils from their mouth and open chest cavity and stab them into their restrained prey. Their tendrils then release a special antibody into their hosts, which makes them a carrier of the virus, or speeds up the virus infection prosses from a day or two, into hours or minutes. If they become a carrier of the virus, they will become extremely contagious, and show no symptoms. While the Mind snare is using its tendrils, it is extremely vulnerable to attacks.

Gore-claw

Description: The Beast-like Gore-claw strain are masters of assassination. Their intellect and speed is more advanced than any other Val'garon creature. They have long claws and tendrils all over their bodies. Most do not even look similar to what they once were. These creatures can be summoned or created through mutation, but both processes take weeks to finish. They tear their recent victim's bodies in half, kills the humanoid creature and slides its tail through its body to create a puppet, places it against the corner of a wall and makes it look like someone is being dragged by something around the corner. Some of these creatures even know how to mimic human screaming to make the scene look more real. When its next target steps too close, it attacks from behind the corner and eats one or both corpses and takes the leftovers to the hive. They also can slide through cracks and gaps and waits for prey to ambush. They never attack prey in groups, as the creature is weak and easy to kill.

Val'gasra Queen

Description: The Val'gasra Queen rules the hives and are on the top of the ranks in the Val'gasra hive. Queens almost always rule a hive, but there are times when multi-queen hives are formed. Multi-Queen hives have more than one Queen. This increases egg production, but most of the hive underlings become confused as to who is the main leader, and may not listen to one Queen, but follow another. This displacement of leadership often leads to the failure of commands.
