Miss Creme swallowed the last of her candy, and looked up at Madam Mauve with a neutral expression on her face. She didn't know what it was, but she didn't get a good feeling about this Madam. "Indeed," She said evenly, "I'd hate to get separated from the group." She was looking for a tactful way to step away from Mauve at this point. Not quickly seeing one, and not wanting to upset her, she decided that she'd have to wait for Blush to return, but she'd be minimizing talking to this woman as much as possible. She folded her hands behind her back, and followed the group into music room.

And there was that man again, she knew not his title, only by the horrid feeling she got upon seeing him, sitting on the piano bench. The situation she'd found herself in at this point was quite distressing. She seemed to be in between a rock and a hard place. Drawing breath, she was about to step closer to Prima, before she seemed to address the man on the piano bench, quickly causing Creme to take a step back to where she was. Having a good feeling about Envy, she instead looked back towards the room behind them, hoping Envy wouldn't be far behind, not particularly wanting to be stuck on her own in here.

Bart looked on with a smile as she ripped open her reviews, and opened his in kind, albeit with a bit more care Prying open the envelope, trying to avoid tears, he fished out his reviews. "To new beginnings." He agreed, nodding his head. Though he was trying to keep up a face of courage, he couldn't stop his damn hands from shaking. Holding the paper in his hands, he looked down on it, trying to force himself to read the words in front of him. He drew a deep breath, and read on. He flinched a bit as he started to read. Good and bad things were said of him, and though they weren't as bad as they could possibly be, he found it hard to be happy with what was in front of him.

These didn't hold back much, and maybe, he thought, that was a good thing. What it did tell him, more than anything, was that he had to keep trying to be better, to think more before acting, and consider the effects his actions could have on the lives of everybody. He'd never considered himself with the sense of entitlement this painted him as having, but if it was there, he trusted that the Emendators said what they were saying because they identified a problem that needed correcting. As he finished, he folded them carefully back up into the envelope, and back into his pocket. He looked back at Alexandra as he finished reading, and waited for her to finish, before asking, "How bad's the damage?"

Adalene gave a look of surprise over to Emmie. "I'm sure of it." She said, nodding. "No idea why this is happening in the first place, but I know we aren't unique." She set up her phone to direct her to where she needed to go. "I told you that somebody else had shown up randomly in my apartment before you, right?" She thought she had, but honestly she wouldn't be surprised if she had kept that to herself. It'd been an insane couple of weeks, and that was probably the most normal things to have happened to her so far. "I'm a bit surprised we haven't seen anybody else, almost makes me think it was caused by something." She said quietly.

She didn't know how to fit the pieces together, and that pissed her off more than anything really. Detective work wasn't her strong suit, and she didn't want that to be the thing to royally screw her over in the end. She kept close to Emmie as they walked, not wanting to get separated from her in the city for many reasons, not the least of which was the fact that she was her ride back home. Right now though, she looked forward to getting out of Central Park. While it sounded nice to start, tourists were not her favorite thing in the world.

Creme nodded at Envy's words. Taking a look around sounded like better and better idea the more she thought about it. This was surely a once in a life time experience, and enjoying this while they could sounded like a much more fun option than sitting around and waiting for something horrible to come there way. As the others seemed to find themselves agreeing with Envy as well, Creme was surprised to see Blush run off. Knowing it wouldn't be proper for her to run after her, she silently watched with a concerned look on her face. She hoped she'd return soon.

The candy in her mouth was about halfway finished at the point when Mauve whispered to her. She nodded affirmatively. She was glad the madam understood her apprehension. She flinched at the ringing, but settled herself quickly upon the man's explanation. She had a nervous, slightly embarrassed smile on her face. The night truly was getting to her, making her far more on edge than she normally was. She straightened herself, and readied herself to go on an exploration of this place with the others.

At Alexandra's question, Bart's reviews in his pocket almost felt heavier. "No. I haven't." He said, not making eye contact with her as he responded. His lips were pursed, uncomfortable at the idea of reading through them. He wanted to know what was written about him so badly, but he felt as if there wouldn't be much nice to say, and the mere thought of seeing what Eve would say put him in a borderline terror. He looked back at her after a second and said, "I'm scared to, ya'know? I haven't talked about it with anybody yet, but Faith and I really messed up working with Eve." He tapped his foot for a second.

"But we can't live in fear." He pulled the reviews out of his pocket, and looked down at them. "If we do, we'll never grow. We'll never change. That's my take on it anyway." He looked back at Alexandra. He didn't want to open these, not one bit. But he knew he had to. He just couldn't bring himself to open them up and face what'd been said about him, especially given Alicia's warning that these were pretty bad in general. He settled on an idea. "How about this? I'll open mine if you open yours." He offered. Whatever he was about to go through, it might be easier if he didn't have to do it alone, and he thought the same might be true for Alexandra.

Adalene stumbled for a second after being teleported, stepping down from the bench before she could fall over. She sat down, next to Emmie and asked, a bit of surprise in her voice, "Is it really safe to teleport in public like this?" She knew it was New York, and people have probably seen apparently weirder things, but somewhere like Central Park was bounded to be crawling with tourists. Tourists who, if they saw, would almost certainly ask questions, or draw more attention to them than they wanted.

Adalene, however, did nod vigorously at Emmie's question of food. "Food. For sure." She said. After that, the paranoid part of her thought it wouldn't be a good idea to stick around in the same place. It was still a very reasonable line of thinking to her, that if there was apparently an FBI agent connected to this, the bureau as a whole might know. Popping into existence in very public places would not be a good way to keep on the low. "I'm in the mood for Mexican, you?" She pulled out her phone, and started looking for nearby places to eat.

Miss Creme politely shook her head. She didn't want to risk upsetting the lord, or getting poisoned. "I'll hold off Miss, if that's alright. I'll stick to these." She reached into her purse, and extracted a small hard peppermint candy, and plopped it into her mouth. How she loved these, cool, with just the right kind of bite. As she sucked, She gave a bigger smile to Madam Mauve, and, with her candy in the side of her mouth. "I'm fine Miss! Thank you for asking." She said. Though there was the candy in her mouth, her voice sounded almost indistinguishable from normal. She curtsied before her, and said, "Pleased to meet your acquaintance."

She did hope the worries that had come over her weren't too apparent. She didn't want people to be concerned for her, when there were obviously much more important things happening right now. She took a seat at the table, waiting for Blush to finish eating, and continued to look at Mauve and Blush, "This is such an interesting place, I'm sure few outside of the family have seen it." She said, and rested her hands on the table, before hopefully saying, "Maybe we'd like to join them, if they'd have us, Miss Blush?" She asked. She wanted to meet as many other guests as she could, but she still wanted to stay with Blush, so she would stay with her if she didn't wish to go.

Bart paused for a moment, and frowned. He wanted to look in there, be useful, and find out what was going on. But Alexandra had a point. There was a reason police roped off crime scenes, so that passersby didn't contaminate anything. They were the passersby in this case, and they had to do only what they were told to do. Acting on their own wouldn't impress anybody, it would at best be useless and detrimental at worst. He closed the door he had just opened, and turned back to face Alexandra, and nodded. "You're right." He said, a bit of a drag on his voice.

"Well, in that case, James' is getting an adult." He said, "The best thing we can do is wait." He said, forcing a smile, and exhaling as he spoke. He hated feeling useless, and that's exactly what he was right now. He didn't know what he was supposed to do right now. "We're on "recess" so we might as well take advantage of it." He made air quotes with his hands. If they were to have this time off, the one thing he could do without pissing anybody off was surely doing nothing. "I think I'm gonna go to the library, you can join me if you like." He said, walking away from her. That was his go to time killer here, and he had nothing but time right now. Walking back downstairs, he stepped into he study, and started browsing for something to read.
