Stuck at the table, waiting for food, Mab drummed their fingers on the table. Briefly, they startred to run through the idea of calling in other favors to have people accompany them to the park. Amassing an army for something like this was probably overkill, they reasoned, and moreso, the more they involved other people, the more likely their name would get out. Still, they liked the idea of being able to do something like that, even if it was ultimately a bad idea.

As their stomach grumbled, they half wanted to go out to talk to Rose, but they kept themselves from doing so. Being away from the table when their food was ready might make people think they dined and dashed. It wasn't like they hadn't done that before, of course, but they didn't want to do that where Rose worked. It would make her look bad, and she deserved better than that from Mab. So at their table they stayed, hoping Rose would come back to explain their game plan soon.

Normally, Oliver might latch onto the things Bonnie had told him, the idea of alternate histories and evil robots sounding unendingly interesting. However, the crashing of a man from the roof to the floor distracted him. Taking an immediate step back, he went briefly went into panic mode. After all, he wasn't especially suited for any kind of field work, and there was an armed intruder in front of them. However, his teammate's reactions seemed to be more of exasperation or frustration than anything serious.

Focused now on Deadpool more than anybody else here, he found himself cracking a smile at his comments. looking for exactly what to say to the masked man, he opened his mouth, only to laugh, and say ,"Sorry, it's Deadpool right?" He started to say, "Why are you here again? Do you need some kind of help?" He figured that somebody wouldn't illegally enter a S.H.I.E.L.D base unless they had a death wish or needed something, and assuming it wasn't the former, he always loved to help with problems whenever he could. In all honesty, he was a bit disappointed to see that Tinley wanted him game, but he wasn't about to openly contradict his superior.

Taking a step back, arthur nodded. He didn't feel great about having to bury his sister, but maybe, he thought, it would help him. This might give him some kind of closure, but he knew it'd be hard as hell to do. Pushing his thoughts away from that, he contemplated Leda's proposition: Finding somebody to teach him how to use his powers would help him survive but, after what just happened, he didn't want to be raise the dead again for awhile. He felt like if he did something like that again, he wouldn't be able to handle it.

How he was going to honor Ash, he had no idea. He could think of things she liked, but what that meant in the context of putting his sister to rest, he had no idea. "If... we're gonna be burning her body, maybe we could put some things she would've liked along with her." He said, uncertainly. "She had a backpack she was really fond of that's back in the cabin." His voice died out as he said that. The once refined and quiet allure of the mausoleum-esque halls of the Hades cabin now seemed like an icy tomb for him and him alone. The thought of spending the coming night by himself in that place seemed impossible, and scared him to death at the thought of it.

Mab watched as Sierra walked away with Rose, and Willow made her way out. Mab was under the impression that they were going to talk to her, but they must have misunderstood. Shrugging, they decided they were just going to wait for the food, and thought that if Rose had anything to say to them, it'd be brought to their attention when their food came out. In the meantime they took a few moments to calm themselves. They didn't want to risk having a panic attack over all of this.

The more they reflected on it, they weren't sure they were happy about bringing Rose in on this, if only because it kept them from storming off tho figure out what on Earth was going on. Granted, this was probably a good thing, they didn't know what they were getting into after all. But still, they hated waiting, and even more, they hated the idea of people they didn't know knowing things about them. The idea upset them, if not just straight creeped them out, given how much of a private person they were. They kept going over their memories in their head, trying to come up with who this could possible be.

Oliver gave a quizzical look over to Bonnie as he obviously didn't drink. "I'm sorry what?" He asked, looking around the room as several people drank to that. He'd yet to be briefed on the particulars of what this unit had been through, but that sounded terribly interesting. "You can't just drop a bomb like that and not say anything else, somebody spill." That sounded out of scope for them by a long shot, so this caught his interest for sure. He quietly took a sip, and then another at Harry's turn. It wasn't that he meant to set things on fire, it was just part of the creative process sometimes.

Looking over at Tinley, he nodded. Food sounded good right now, unpacking all his stuff didn't leave much time to eat, so he was on an empty stomach. That, combined with the fact that he wasn't much of a drinker, and was a major lightweight, meant he was starting to feel his drink a little bit. That being said, he did see that Tinley semed off. This confused him for a moment, before he understood why. There were thumps coming from the roof. Placing his drink down for a moment, he gave her a careful look. He wasn't daft by any stretch of the imagination, and that was a sound that they definitely shouldn't be hearing.

Not wanting to break rank, in case there was something bad about to happen, he switched to a more professional demeanour. With grace inherited from his people's endless years of oppressing the masses of the world, he approached Tinley, and quietly asked, "I heard that too, anything I should do, team leader?" He wanted to make it clear he was asking her as his superior, looking for direction. He wanted to imagine that nothing bad would happen, given the holiday, but the universe rarely acted according to anybody's schedule.

Shaking after what had just happened, he immediately wanted to shove away from the hug, but kept himself from doing so. Instead, he leaned into it, tears streaking down his face. At any other point of his life, he would've thought Ledaa was providing a comforting lie, something to keep a child happy, but with what he knew of the world now, he believed her. She would be a princess of hell, something that, in all honesty, he thought was befitting of her. He opened his mouth, and closed it again, wanting to say something, but all that would come out if he tried to speak would be something unbecoming of him.

He nodded into Leda's shoulder, and pulled back for a moment. "Thank you Leda. I... I'm sorry, that was bold of me." He looked at Andy, before averting his eyes. He hated that he'd done that to Ash's body, but he hated even more that he subjected Andy to it. All they could do now, he thought, was as Leda said. They'd keep living, the only thing they could do to honor Ash's memory. He hoped that Andy would be okay, and wouldn't hold what just happened against him. He couldn't stand to be alone after what's happened, and the thought that he reaction would force one of his friends away from him scared him to death.

As conversation went around him, Oliver made his way over to the open bar to fix himself a drink so he could play. Fixing himself a scotch on the rocks, he returned to the group, soon enough to clearly not drink at Maria's turn. That was indeed, outside of the scope of things he'd done. He turned a little red at Tempest though, and nonchalantly, took a sip. Quickly distracting himself, he nodded at Niah, "Well, I hope you find joy in the new year." He smiled at her. It was a shame they wouldn't get to know each other, but such was life. He'd put together that Raynor was a hot head though, not many people could punch somebody in the face practically unprovoked and not be. He'd know to choose his words carefully around him.

Looking around the group, he figured he may as well go, and said, "Never have I ever thrown up from drinking too much." He said, taking a drink as he did. That was one thing he was lucky enough to have missed out on. Not that he didn't drink, that was evidenced enough from him partaking in this, he'd just always stopped before it became too much. He considered himself lucky for that, he'd seen many people go through that, and the hangovers that follow, and that was something he never wanted to experience. He looked around at the group, and was interested to see who might've. At this point, he was essentially building up a profile of all these people, knowing what all he could about his new teammates could be very important, depending on the type of work he'd be doing. The more data one has, of course, the better predictive models they can build.

Mab nodded at Sierra; Rose's trust was enough for them, at least for a sit down. Quietly, they watched as Rose approached her friend, wanting to gauge what they could about her. Straining their ears to listen to her speak, she seemed friendly enough, but then again, so did mab when they were putting on a face. Still, Mab liked to think they had a good bullshit detector, and didn't pick much up from Sierra. Drumming their fingers on the table, they waited patiently for Sierra to get over here. They did notice, however, that Sierra wasn't alone, and that set Mab off immediately. Rose hadn't said anything about her.

The other girl, Mab was immediately distrustful of, since they didn't have Rose's backing. This didn't mean they were going to act like a freak if she joined Sierra when she made he way over to Mab, but it meant their guard would have to stay a bit up. This was the closest thing to a personal issue that Mab had dealt with in a while, and they didn't appreciate the notion on strangers being privy to the details of it. They had always rationalized this kind of behavior by the fact that they'd been ripped away from their parents at such a young age, finding it difficult to let people in in any capacity, for fear that they'd either abandon them, or hurt them.

Arthur gripped Andy tightly, before finding them apart much too quickly. Tears were steaming out his eyes with reckless abandon now, and he found himself at a loss for words. There was nothing he could say that would make this right, and any attempt to get words out would just lead to his voice breaking, or him choking on his own sobs. His sister was dead, and everything was worse now. A perverse thought crossed his mind, wondering if he could try to undo this with his powers. Playing so uncaringly with the forces of life and death seemed evil, but he didn't care right now. He lost somebody close to him, and he couldn't stand withstand that.

Arthur stepped outside, not breaking eye contact with Leda. "You're... You're gonna tell me my Sister is dead right?" He asked, his voice cracking. "But my dad, he's the king down there, right? So I'm..." He started to hold his hands out, ready to do what he'd done before, to save his sister, and make this terrible world right, "I'm able to actually do something about it." And with that, he clenched his fist, and to his shock and awe, he saw his sister's body actually raise out of the dirt. At first, he felt the most intense relief he'd ever known, followed by a slow realization of what was in front of him.

Ash, in the same dress that she was in before being unceremoniously ripped from this world, was standing in front of all of them, her head quite literally in her hands. Body caked in dirt, without thought or feeling behind her eyes. Arthur felt almost as if he was going to throw up, but held himself back. This was wrong, this was so, so wrong, Summoning whatever will he had left, he threw his hands to the ground, trying to make her go away, not being able to stand the sight of her like this. The body of Ash fell lifeless on the ground once more, sprawled prone for all to see. Arthur collapsed along with her, sobbing and pounding the ground, yelling, "Why? This isn't fair! This isn't fair!" Over and over again, unable to come out with anything but cries of anguish.

A look of shock crossed Oliver's face at the sequence of events that just unfolded in front of him. After chugging straight from a bottle of what he could only assume was some kind of liquor, Santa Claus proceeded to deck somebody in the face. Letting out a nervous laugh, he took a few steps back away from the man. He turned his attention to Tinley, and nodded. He was determined to have fun here, even if it killed him, which, it seemed it might at this point. The idea of an open bar sounded nice to him though, a drink seemed like something he'd be needing later on tonight.

Turning his attention to those who introduced themselves to him, he smiled back and said, "It's nice to meet all of you, I'm Agent Oliver Sulivan, but you can all call me Oliver." Looking back over at Raynor nervously, he asked, "Does that happen a lot?" with an uncertain tone in his voice, "and if so, how do I make sure it doesn't happen to me?" He then looked at Tempest specifically, being reminded by her suggestions of college ice breakers, he thought they sounded a bit funny. Still, it's be fun. "I'd play a game, yeah." He agreed. That sounded like just the way to get some alcohol in his body, and get to know everybody at the same time.
