I will be gone for a week.

Roleplaying involves a commitment to others. And if you cannot keep that commitment I'd ask you to be honest with youself and just say so. It's by far the least painful way of leaving an rp.

Rasputin simply stood around as his spell literally pushed a tree out of the ground. He watched, waited, and he saw just a quick flash of something swiftly evacuating the tree. He only saw a flash of a scaled tail, This detail quite narrowed down the possibilities of what exactly had been up there all this time.
He did not have to ponder it through for long though, as the creature in the trees had wisely decided to show itself after rasputin's show of force. "Hmm... So who are you then?" he asked. Looking her over. At first glance she appeared to be a humanoid, but closer examination showed things to be somewhat off. Her skin had a scalelike texture to it, and horns and a reptillian tail indicated she was quite definitely not a mere human.
"A shapeshifter perhaps?" Rasputin questioned. There were certainly creatures that shifted into humanpod forms for a variety of reasons. Though the only creatures native to this region that fit all of the criteria he could see right now were dragons. Rasputin had reas about the creatures once, though he was quite unfamiliar with the finer details of their capabilities.
"Or.... perhaps a dragon?" He half questioned, half concluded.
@AquaAzuraIf it makes things any easier, I4m perfectly willing to play just a monster. I'm not too inclined to play a human and would glady concede the spot to someone more eager.
Rasputin flinched for just a moment. “So you control the shadows too then?” He asked, still facing where he had found someone spying on him. “Your rather brutish way of breaking my observation ward implies either inexperience or rashness... Neither are good qualities for one that uses magic.” He was now looking around in the canopy above him. “Look, just show yourself at the very least. The dilligence with which you are hiding implies there is a need to hide yourself from someone just passing through.”
While he talked, he subtly searched around the area. Not with his physical eyes, but with the third eye of his mind. There were many shadows in the forest, but a more subtle approach than direct assault would likely be needed here.. And then he saw an opening. The crevices, nooks and crannies in the roots under the trees. Spaces just empty enough to allow him to work his magic. And so he began molding the deep darkness to his needs.
“To emphasize I could very well strike you down if I wanted to, I'll be uprooting that tree you're sitting... If you know what's good for you you'll stop hiding like a robber lying in ambush and explain yourself to me.”
Before he even finished the sentence, the tree already began moving. Masses of shadow granted physical form swelling underneath it and pushing it upwards. Before long, the heaving crack of a falling tree resounded through the forest.
Personality: Walther is a rather overbearing and dominant person. He feels best when others turn to him for guidance and advice, and often interjects with his thoughts even when not asked to do so.
'Weapon': The leader scepter, +2 attack. “You can get these things in a toy store...”
'Armor': The boss hat, +1 defence. “It's a a crown made out of folded cardboard...”

Relationship: (To be worked on as the RP progress)
Name: Shark shredder
Pronouns: He. him
Appearance:
Personality: Shark shredder is the frontman and leading personality within his band. He is an extraverted and outspoken individual who does not mind being the center of attention at all. In fact, he revels in it. To him, all of life should be lived to the fullest, even if it means being slightly irresponsible sometimes. He is a very caring and concerned person despite his tough appearance and stage persona, caring deeply for his colleagues and friends.
HP: 2000 Atk: 8 Def: 0 Fighting style: The shark is there to please the crowd just as much as he's there to bring you under. He only really focuses on one person at a time. But the pyrotechnics on his stage deal more than enough collateral damage to everyone else. One can easily tell if his focus is on them. The stagelights follow his gaze, and whatever crowd there might be will clear out a line of fire. Even if you didn't ask for his attention, he'll challange your guitar skills, punctuated by a wave crashing over the one of inferior skill. Of course, unlike any of you, he can breathe underwater.
Oh, you've really done it now. And he'll make you know it. Before becoming the premier heavy metal sensation of the underground, the shredder was part of a niche ensemble of musicians whose music was said to rouse even the dead to dance. Evidently, it was true, as his band's instruments have gained a life all of their own. He's not playing fair anymore, outright blocking your approach towards him with raging torrential waves and siccing the crowd of shadows his new song awakened on you.
ACT's: AIR GUITAR: draws his specific attention towards you, better hope you have a plan. CROWD SURF: Flee the shredding shark. Just don't lose your balance. The water is deep. MOSH PIT: Safety regulations make it so this place is legally obligated to be beyond pyrotechnics range... just don't get trampled. Mercy: Pacifist and neutral with complete band: Live up to his challange to a guitar battle to the death. After all, someone that can shred the axe better than him can't be a bad person.
Neutral, one or more band members 'disappeared: He ain't starting a concert without the full gang. Not even to take out the humans whose souls will save the underground.
Genocide: You're on the highway to hell. and only one side is getting off of this crazy train alive.
well in every overlord there is the leaders of "light" that we gotta stomp out. So why don't we figure out who that'd be. I say light with quotes because more often than not their corrupt.
They're not always corrupt. Some of them are just hilariously incompetent at actually running a country. Either due to a goddamn wizard messing everything up or simple everyday decadence.
