Li called out. What Lei didn't know was that much like Avatar Korra, Li was facing the Anti Li in his mind. Only he could see the Anti. "I won't believe you! I wont!" Li said "It's too late, they're gone! Face it you couldn't save them! Just like you couldn't save Lei!" the Anti said. "Li, snap out of it! Focus on mine and Liang's voice! I know it's hard to believe but even if they are dead, you have me and you have everyone that would come on the adventure with us! Kailani, Liang, Maybe even Luta, Akito, and Zakeo too!" Lei called out hoping Li could hear her.

What I'm actually gonna do is fight him head on with Lei" Li said as Lei high fives him. "Anyone that is coming along for an adventure afterwards meet us at the docks." Lei said as she grabbed Li's arm and ran outside "We'll be back soon! Li said as him and Lei used Earthbending to create pillars to launch them in the direction of Shen-Wu.

-Near Shen-Wu-

In Republic city Shen-Wu is shooting bolts of lightning at the buildings to destroy them. Each bolt causing each building to crumble. Shen-Wu saw a man who was trying to gather up his potatoes from his cart and grabbed him by his collar. "Where is she? Where is the Avatar?!" He yelled "I don't know I'm just a simple potato merchant!" Potato guy said as Shen-Wu tossed him high into the air "My potatoes!!!!" the man cried as Li swoops in a grabs him placing him down on the ground and to safety. "Get to safety" Li said as the potato guy ran off and Lei lands next to Li. "Whop are you two?" Shen-Wu said "We're the Avatars" Lei said You're both the Avatar? Impossible! Never in the years of the Avatar has there been two avatars!" Shen-Wu said "We're the first twin Avatars!" Li said as Shen-Wu looked a bit closer at them "Wait you both look very familiar. Yes now I remember, you both look like those two earthbenders I killed!" He said as Li and Lei's eyes widen. "W-What did you say?" Li asked "Yeah you look like this earthbender couple I killed on my way to Republic City. He replied "No...no you can't..." Li said "They can't be dead. They can't be." Lei added, their eyes began to get a faint white glow "Nooooooooo!!!!" They both cried as their eyes went a complete white and the earth around them began to tremble. They have gone into the Avatar State. My work here is done Shen-Wu said as he slipped out while they were distracted.
