I need internet to use it for what I built it for.

If I plugged in a device directly to the modem, AND was the only one using the internet so that I am exclusively getting all of the speed, it would still take several hours to download just a couple of gigabytes.

A working computer with no way to use it, since my internet won't support the kind of bandwidth I'd be using. I'm going to have it finished for college, though. It'll be a trillion times more useful where I have internet that supports it.
