Don Simon Salazar reclined in his chair as he and his advisors debated on what course of action to take in the upcoming crusade. The heads of the various bureaus squabbled over what was best. Isabella Hernandez of the Foreign Affairs Bureau, Nicolas Abarca of the Defense Bureau, and Constantino Cuautlaxahue of the Bureau of Religious Affairs, were in particular in heated debate of what exactly to do.

"We must break though Gilbraltar!" Abarca shouted, slamming his fist hard into the table before them; even getting a glance from Don Salazar himself. "Any other option would simply be foolish, we must take a direct approach!"

"And do what, Nicolas? Be weakened by a needless naval battle before we even enter into the Mediterranean?" Cuautlaxahue retorted, with Hernandez nodding in agreement.

"We cannot simply attack from the front, we need an alternative passage towards the Caliphate" she responded after the Religious Head had his turn to speak.

"What alternative routes? Go around the Cape of Good Hope? Do you know how much time we would waste trying to navigate under Africa?" Abarca replied, in an almost desperate tone.

It was at this moment that Don Salazar stood up from his chair and slowly approached the fighting administrators. All in the room were silent as the Don approached the three fighting Bureau Heads.

"Perhaps Africa is not the passage that we need, but It is certainly a place we must turn our attentions to." He said, handing the telegram from Zakariah Abraham Zaile. "It is news from Ethiopia, and we had best take head of their help in our conflict"

The others nodded in agreement as Bureau Head Hernandez spoke up, "Great Don, may I reply to the message?"

"Immediately, Miss Hernandez." He said, nodding. "Shah Alamgir has told me of his descision, and I request you send the message on behalf of both us and the USAE"

Isabella nodded and left to respond.

The Third Mexican Empire is appaled by the actions undertaken by the GEC, and that they would not only condemn this just war against a brutal rogue nation, and would implore others to sabatoge a conflict that may bring back basic human rights to the horrificly brutalized religious minorities of the Caliphate, well known across the world as targets of Genocide and Enslavement. We wonder if the GEC may in fact have turned their backs on the European Value of Human Rights. But it is of no matter, the Glorious nation of Mexico fears not any sactions you may request, and we would like to formally cease all trade with the GEC and expell all GEC based companies. No longer shall we provide automotives and industrial machinery for the GEC, these shall go to the deserving citizens of Mexico.

Hail to the great leader Don Símon Salazar, the rightful leader and guide of the Mexican People. We, the office of defence have a public declaration to be made. On this day, the Third Mexican Empire will enter into a defensive pact with the honorable nation of The United South Asian Empire. It is with great pleasure that we enter into this partnership with them, finding these people much more honor among them than our so called fellow christian nations. In response to their generous act of training our troops, we, the industrious people of Glorious Mexico will begin largescale production of armaments to be shipped as payment.

We, the nation of Glorious Mexico would like to firmly assert our position as a the greatest of all servants to God. It is true that to be a Catholic is essential to being a true Mexican. And so, with the guidance of our magnificent leader, the infallibale Don Salazar, that we will declare outselves the one true Defender of the Catholic Faith. We shall stand in solidarity with any catholic peoples in the world, and come to the defence of any catholic peoples who feel that oppression has come upon them.

This leads into our next point, that we cannot stand for the intolerance and brutality that the barbarians who rule without legitimacy over the Caliphate of Istanbul. And so, standing with the catholics who face danger and fear for their lives in Caliphate territory, such as the Maronites of Lebanon; we The Third Empire of Mexico, the true warriors of god, declare holy war upon the Caliphate of Istanbul.
