Current PMing everyone on this website individually and asking “do you think my statuses are funny?” with an attached stock photo of a man (super buff) crying.

The people who wrote the instructions for my sister's new printer failed to consider that I might be tripping balls while trying to help her set it up.

I'm in the lab, cooking up a status that will make every mad at me, together. I can heal this website by being as wrong and annyoing as possible.

Met a guy yesterday who looked and sounded exactly like Hank Hill. Made my week. Logged in today and realized yesterday was this accounts sixth birthday. The universe gave me a gift for the occasion.

Finally getting to that age where I realize that I'm becoming my dad. Called some guy at work "old boy" because I couldn't remember his name. If I order any ww2 books just put me down like a dog, man.

Mind if I hop in?
This all a bit too intensive for me at my current skill level, perhaps I'll return when I've grown as a writer/RPer
@Letter BeeThanks for the quick response man, it's kind unnerving dropping into a quite established RP like this.
Few questions. 1 is there still open space in the elite guard of the RoC? And does your character have to be from an existing fictional universe?

Considering how this is going, do you mind if I play Abner just so this can be more interesting for the pair of you? I mean if you want to, that's fine too.

I certainly don't mind.
@Alan Hawke I am, if nothing else, filled with ideas of varying quality.
@Polybius Interesting character, don't see very many gnomes or bards outside of Dungeons & Dragons.
Edric was practicing conjuring daggers when he saw the Tavern. It was a strange building, and he could've swore it wasn't there an hour ago. Deciding that his exhaustion was causing him to misremember things, he started towards it. From inside, he saw lamplight and heard...a lute? He approached the doors and gripped his cane warily. He opened the flimsy door and stepped inside.

He saw a smiling gnome playing his lute contentedly, and a hooded man conversing with a hawk-shaped golem on his arm. Neither took much notice of him. He strode over to the bar and said to the other patrons.

"I hate to interrupt, but do either of you know where the bartender is?"
So, can I write or should I wait?
Name: Edric Jaronus

Appearance: A 19-year-old half-elf with short, dark brown hair and green eyes. 5' 11", 135 pounds. He's not ripped, but he's not out of shape either. He wears a simple white dress shirt with a leather vest and a black, ankle-length overcoat, as well as suit pants and dress shoes. A short top hat adorns his head and he is never seen without his straight black cane.
Bio: A former member of The Order of The Serpent mages guild, he left with some friends once the inquisitors cracked down on mages. He and his friends split up to find a semi-safe and friendly place to practice the arcane arts, away from the prying eyes of the Inquisitors of the holy church. He believes he may have found that in the Lonely Tavern.
He led a fairly uninteresting early life, the only notable thing being his intense study of the art of Conjuration, which he mastered at age 14. He became one of few mages who are able to create permanent objects out of nothing but energy, he makes his money by conjuring weapons and tools to sell. He's no stranger to fighting, being in The Order of the Serpent. Suffice it to say that his hat and cane are quite magical, and quite effective.
Personality: Edric is easily bored and constantly looking for stimulation, which is why he throws himself into his Conjuring. He makes friends easily and can be quite funny when he wants to be. Something that confounds the people who know him best is how trusting he is, especially after what he saw in The Order of The Serpent's many skirmishes against the inquisitors. Despite being a situational pessimist, he easily sees the best in people.
