Audra's brow furrowed as the country woman walked out of sight in the direction that the elderly man had pointed. She had just taken a deep breath and took a step to approach him when the man's face made a sour and displeased expression and walked farther down the hall out of her sight, muttering under his breath. With a pounding heart, she quickly approached the front doorway, peeking her head around the corner in the direction they had gone.

Should she follow them?

As uncertain as she felt on what to do, she was certain that it was better to be inside out of the night and that following the two strangers was still a better plan than anything else she could think of at the moment.

Audra followed like a swift, light breeze down the hall, keeping close to the walls, as the country woman and professor hadn't noticed her yet. As the woman approached the stairs, the man's pace quickened (which did only so much considering his decrepit physical condition) and he was approaching her just as another woman descended from the stairs. Audra paused a moment, curiously assessing the situation. There was something about the cloaked woman that was familiar somehow....

What is it?

Audra couldn't quite put her finger on it, but her thoughts were interrupted as the woman addressed the professor, telling him that he was wanted by the Dean. The woman was obviously trying to get rid of him, but the elderly man didn't seem to notice as he came hurrying after his own manner back towards her. Audra hugged the wall a little closer, worried about being spotted and interrogated concerning what she was doing, for which she had no good answer, but Professor Augustine hurried past without a second glance, leaving the farm girl to breath out a small sigh of relief.

Making her way a little closer, Audra could better hear the conversation between the two women..

"I'm here to see the Dean, I s'pose? Maybe? I have a problem and I wan- would like it fixed 'fore I go back to Diedremere."

Diedremere? She's from home! Audra felt a small burst of excitement at the mention of her hometown, followed quickly by a slight pang of homesickness that she cut off immediately. This was no time to be feeling doubts - she was on the cusp of the adventure she had always sought and hopefully close to discovering the meaning of her dream. Audra snapped her attention back to the conversation she was eavesdropping on as the cloaked woman lowered her hood,

"Oh... I... could show you to the Dean's office, but if you want to know more about the dreams you've been having, I would suggest coming with me... 'fore you go to see him, that is."

Audra jumped slightly with a gasp at the mention of dreams. This country woman was having them too? Or were they even talking about the same dream? And how did this woman know about that anyways? It was in that moment that something clicked in the farm girl's mind. She knew why the woman had something familiar about her.

It was her voice.... It was this woman's voice that had resonated in and through Audra's dream...

Audra had unthinkingly stepped delicately forward, her curiosity pulling her towards Rowena like the wind pushes a sail.
Hey y'all! Sorry I've been MIA. I've been out of a computer and then had to spend the time I was planning for writing on obtaining this for wedding stuff. I'll have a post up today or tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience!
Ok, now the post is actually up. Sorry y'all!
Audra breathed in deeply, relishing the fresh air that . She had been walking for several hours now, and the sun was just coming up over the tree-line. She had been walking ever since she had woken after her strange dream where she had heard the whispers carried on the wind:

"Jeorva.... Meet us in Jeorva, human...."

"Make haste.... Tell no one...."

"Please.... the Academy...."

"Quietly.... Quickly...."

"Come... to Jeorva...."

Never in her life had words pierced her soul so strongly. She couldn't explain what it meant or where it had come from, but she knew when she had woken immediately after the dream that she had to follow the dream's instructions. The pull towards the city gnawed at her like an intense and insatiable hunger and, after another hour of laying in bed, she decided that sleep had fled for good, despite the night still being young. She dressed quickly, grabbed her satchel, and went outside, hoping to walk and clear her head. Audra was deeply lost in her thoughts when she realized suddenly she was several hours down the road to Jeorva. It had almost felt like the early morning breeze had guided her.
Initially a little uncertain, Audra's fears soon gave way to a growing sense of excitement as she decided that then was as good a time as any to carry out what she had been planning for weeks: to run away from her childhood home and seek the purpose and recognition she had always sought for. She had packed her satchel several nights before with things and supplies that she would take with her, just in case. Audra thought that the night of her 17th birthday would be as fitting a night as any, but had still been debating it in her mind before last nigh. Her dream, however, had changed everything. And now here she was! Out on the open road with the wind in her hair on the way to Jeorva!
Her two day journey seemed to pass quickly with her mounting excitement. She felt a twinge of guilt at leaving without telling her family and felt uncertain as to how they felt at her sudden absence. She had originally planned to leave a note with an explanation of her departure, but had been so caught up in her dream that she had forgotten to do so. Regardless, Audra couldn't help but love the pounding of adventure in her heart as she walked farther and farther from what she knew.

She was free at last.

But Audra's sense of freedom quivered a little once she reached the city as she now had to ponder what to do next. She had traveled several times with her brothers to bring their fruit to market, but had never ventured here on her own, and she began to feel uncertain. She was not about to be defeated, however. Lifting her head proudly and clutching her satchel, Audra went looking for the marketplace, which would at least be a familiar place to start. Perhaps she could talk to some of her family's business associates and get pointed in the right way to the Academy, as the dream had stated. However, as she wandered, she came upon what could only be the Academy itself. A few individuals who had apparently decided to stay late filed out, and Audra was considering what to do next as she watched a young woman walk cautiously inside. Her attire was certainly not of the kind that was found in the city, which only became more evident as an older man began to reprimand her for dirtying the floor. He talked to her as a student, but she didn't quite seem to look like one.
Audra creeped closer slowly, listening for what the young lady would say next, wondering what she was to do next in order to follow her dream.
I'm so sorry I haven't posted yet! I took a bucket-full of life to the face, but I have recovered and will have a post up before the day is over!
Audra will leave on her 17th birthday, so I would assume she'd leave right after having her dream. How far is Diedremere from Jeorvo? Also, I'd like Audra's text color to be this, if that's alright.
Name: Audra Hesten

Element: Wind/Weather

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: *Picture to come* Two things immediately draw your eye when you see Audra: (1) her deep red hair and (2) her small, boyish build (5'1"). Her skin is very pale, despite working outside daily (a mystery to the Hesten family, and oftentimes yet another point of ridicule), but her grey/green eyes only stand out even more strikingly because of this. Her mood can be measured by the color of her eyes, as when she is content and happy they favor a greener shade, but when she is angry they turn grey to match her inner emotional storm. Because she is usually out in the orchards with her brothers, Audra usually ends up wearing their hand-me-down work shirts and pants, which only end up hanging pitifully on her thin frame, despite her mother's efforts to tailor them smaller. She wears her hair down and free as much as she can (which reaches the bottom of her shoulder blades), but will wear it in a braid to keep it out of the way as she goes about her work.

Theme Song: Still being determined, but it'll be great. Fear not!

Nature: Audra has a spunky, fiery nature to match her red hair. She speaks her mind and is a passionate, adventurous soul. She feels semi-obsessively driven to prove herself, to prove that she can do things just as well or better than everyone else. She is also mischievous and will likely not pass up an opportunity for a good prank. She has a short temper and holds grudges. While she likes to be the center of attention, she really does make an incredibly loyal friend.

Backstory: Audra hails from the farmlands of Diedremere, where she and her family make their living off of the fruit orchards that had passed through the seemingly innumerable family generations. Every Hesten was expected to work that very land until they no longer lived, according to ancient tradition. Audra, however, was never satisfied to be tied down by this tradition. Her family have often felt exasperated with her dreams of leaving to live a life of adventure, a notion which seems pointless and frankly unimaginable to them. Her 5 older brothers (Audra had arrived as a surprise to her family 10 years after the youngest boy) would tease her as they all worked together tending the orchards, enjoying the fiery, indignant responses from their only sister. Audra was oftentimes overlooked outside of these moments of ridicule, however, for many reasons. Her small body was much weaker and slower than her brothers, causing them to generally just do things themselves rather than wait for her. This, however, would spark her competitive and stubborn spirit, and she would try to keep up and do things herself, no matter the cost to her.

Despite these things, Audra loved her family deeply, but just wanted to be able to have them see her as their equal. They basically only saw her as helpful when they needed someone to climb to the top of the trees to grab the high and hidden fruit there. This Audra loved to do, as she loved the feeling of being high up and feeling the wind blow through her hair and through the treetops. To her, it felt as if every breeze whispered to her of better things, and it became her inner symbol of the freedom she so desperately sought. Oftentimes when Audra felt like being alone, that is where she would go: to the treetops to imagine the wind telling her of the adventure and freedom that lay far beyond the orchards.

And oh the stories the wind told.

They told her of leaving the farm, of really making herself into something amazing. She didn't even have what she wanted to do or where she wanted to go clearly defined in her mind - those details weren't as important as seeing the amazement and pride in her family member's faces as they saw what she had accomplished all on her own. This is what fueled Audra in her passion to be different and show them all what she could do, always feeling a sense of encouragement with every passing breeze. Her family, however, did not see her ambitions in this light. They thought her a foolish young girl and figured this "phase" would pass as maturity settled. Little did they know of Audra's plans now that she was just about to have her 17th birthday: to gather a few of her belongings and leave with the wind to her back to live her dreams....whatever that meant. She supposed she'd figure out the specifics on the way.

Goal(s): Audra dreams of becoming wealthy and powerful, leaving her family's farm far behind her. She longs to be able to prove herself to her family, blowing them away with her grand achievements.

How exciting! I think everyone had wonderful CSs, and it was fun to read them all and wonder who would follow through. Not a one of you has anything to be ashamed about. I'm looking forward to seeing who will fill the additional 3 roles. I hope some of y'all will reapply.
@Baklava, I applied your suggestion. :) Thanks!
Just gonna leave this here. (Reposting from the other thread) I did flesh out her backstory a little more to better tie in her element, so hopefully that will be helpful.
