@lydyn I'm not feeling attacked at all-- I just don't want anyone walking away from this with the mindset that they're a 'loser' of a competition. I just wanted to clarify in case anyone got that idea.

I don't think she was defending herself, there's nothing to defend (the whole point of an audition is that we might not make the cut, after all), she was just specifying that there weren't any 'losers', as was kind of implied by the idea that the people who qualified 'won', is all. She's just expressing that she'd have accepted everyone if it were that easy.
