@KatherinWinterStuff like fire. He can maybe not get directly burned, but the heat is enough and there is no way you can escape heat. Also, gas poisoning works on him as well, as he still needs to breath.

Power: Shadow
He basicly is a shadow. You can go through him if he wants you to. Because, like his power's origin, his powers are fueled by darkness (or better said, the absence of light), some attributes of his only work at certain times.
At day and at places with a lot of light, he can also manipulate his shadow. Also, when his shadow interacts with another shadow, then it also interacts in reality. Say Sam's shadow pressed the shadow of a button, but Sam didn't actually press it, the button will still be pressed.
At night and at dark places however, he becomes a black creature with red eyes which are able to glow. He normally has a shape like his normal day-form (a human), but he can also change his shape like a real shadow.
Because it would be pretty OP if he knew all of this already, it is going to take him some time before he masters every single attribute of his power. To start with, he doesnt have any, and after he discovers his first power, which is that stuff can go through him, he slowly discovers the others.
Appearance:
Bio: Sam was an average kid, with an average life. He had a girlfriend, his father had a good job, his mother was a happy housewife, and he also had a sister. However, one day, when he was 16, he couldnt sleep because of a buzzing in his head. He followed the direction of the buzzing, and in his dad's office, he found a bomb. The bomb had a special crystal attached to it, that was powered through darkness, so it would go off at night. Sam's first thought was to warn his mother and sister, as they were downstairs watching TV and his father was not home yet. However, he didn't have enough time left, so he jumped out of the window right as the bomb went off. He was thrown outside the house, and landed unconciously on the ground.
A few months later, when he awoke, nothing was the same. His dad was still standing, but his mother and sister had not survived the impact. His girlfriend couldn't stand the fact that he could've died any second, so she got with someone else. And maybe the worst of all, Sam got nightmares. Terrifying nightmares, about horrible creatures that wouldn't leave him alone, but they all had something in commen: They were pitch black, and had red glowing eyes. This made everything get worse for him, as he was forced to drop out of school and he had problems finding a job. He recently moved, hoping he could leave all the worries behind him, and it went good for a couple of days. Until today...

I'm interested, and would maybe join this. Just a quick question, what kind of ethnicity are you talking about in the CS, cause you could be talking about race, religion, nationality, etc.
Hey guys, sorry for not posting lately, but I had other stuff to do, and I kinda thought this rp was dieing once again. Anyway, does anyone have an idea for me how I can join in again? Last thing I remember was that Sam was gaming after the return to the past.

I have no idea, a few posts back jinx explained the primairy part of his story idea, but he didn't mention when it took place. Anyway, I'm thinking about starting it on my own if he doesn't reply soon.
